3:43 this is for scents. Not for storage.

So sorry Genesis , the fake speaker is an air scent diffuser. 🙇🏻‍♀️ This is actually pretty neat!

I bought a GV60 six months ago, it’s been fantastic. With the fast changing curve it’s a great road tripper, and I love driving it. I get lots of compliments on the styling, especially since most people have never seen one before.

8:40 I have the same batt pack in a gv70 and I can attest this behavior is likely due to some erratic charging sessions during PREVIOUS cycles. Typically all my charging sessions will drop to SINGLE DIGITS (7kw) only around 82-84 range and then ramps up again to mid double digit range. I think that's part of a small reserve group of cells that they are avoiding to cram a lot of energy and thermals.
I charged the battery to 100% 2 or 3 times back to back and that flat-spot pattern changed during subsequent session (maybe battery management moved it to used during very low SoC, not really sure)

¡Qué bueno! ¡Otro video tuyo! I really like the Genesis GV60, which is basically the luxury "sister" of my Hyundai Ioniq 5, having upscale features like massaging seats. My glass roof also has that same power cover, and the pull-up shades for the rear windows. I love the heads-up display in E-GMP cars. The only differences I don't like in the GV60 are the front-to-back cup holders, the lower range, and not having a digital rear view mirror. Still, I would take the GV60 over many of the competitors. A propósito… ¡te ves muy bonita en este episodio, Lorena! 😘

The biggest issue with the GV60 is the price. It's power and range could be competitive, but not at ~$70k USD.

8:01 i hit 110-130 at least several times (not sustained) during my 50++ mi oneway commute with my gv70. I end up charging every 135-160 miles 10->80%(so 0-100% =200-220 mi.). BUT, keeping sustained speeds

Partially disable launch control, hit boost and you got a rocket to 130+mph
I got the perfect sleeper EV (the genesis gv70 base) but the same premium motors and read-ahead suspension.

7:03 77kwh batt is supposed to get 10% added capacity like the newer ioniq 5 (incr energ density, not extr weight)... So wait for whenever that happens (also wait for that to get wireless AA/CP, but wired is always better imo - clearer and reliable)

Great review.Thanks. Needs more range but otherwise is great.

More range means more weight and more money with current technology. Whats more important is the charging performance of the car (which is pretty good) and the charging infrastructure (which is horrible).

@@TotallyJoel Joel, more range can be achieved by more efficiency, too, given the same size and weight of battery pack - look at Tesla and Lucid for prime examples of great efficiency.
      What EV do you drive?
Which EV infrastructure are you referring to?
I routinely take 1200+ mile road trips in CA in a non-Tesla and have no issues. I am looking forward to getting Supercharger access soon, which will provide even more DCFC options.

@@barryw9473 lucid has a much bigger battery compared to the gv60. 118kwh vs a 77kwh on the gv60 . Lucids are much more expensive. Model S has a 100 kwh and again it cost more. Comparing apples to oranges.

@@barryw9473 Im glad that you have a good experience with charging in a non tesla, but in other parts of the country lots of chargers have many issues. Many charging sites have 3 or 4 stalls and sometimes half of them dont work.

Nice review and a sharp-looking car, but the range on the AWD trims leaves much to be desired.
