You are scaring the hell out of me, and I can't get enough! I subscribed yesterday, and I've listened to several of your videos since then. They are scarier to me than many of the horror movies I've seen. The movies often spend more money on fake blood and other special effects, but the story is lacking. You select excellent stories with fascinating plots, and you present them in such a way that I can identify with the thoughts and feelings of the characters. You make them real. Thank you for the wonderful hours you're giving us all.

Oh yay, thank you so much for your choices of stories and excellent performances of them. You were recommended by Jasper at Encrypted and I'm so glad I immediately scooted over to check you out - I love having any vintage stories read aloud to me, but as EF Benson and MR James are two of my all-time favourite authors I'm absolutely over the moon with your channel!

Sooo excited for another FAN-tastic artistic reading of the classic gothic literary short stories created when the human experience was more of a writer’s internalized interpretation of languaging the human experience with eloquence & rhythmic cadence. Your chosen genre & crafted retelling of these works are MOST IMPRESSIVE & truly APPRECIATED!
One hopes many compliments to you by abundant expressions of appreciation from your, certain to grow, audience! 🪬🪬🧿Cheers! 🧿🪬📧📬📮

Master L'Estrange recommend you and after a listen I know why! I prefer my narrators, actors, for the best "readers" of stories are actors, to be from the British Isles- it's always as an adult, a wonderful experience ( adulthood is decidedly lacking in wonder for me these days, chronic depression not the Virginia Woolf sort, blessedly) . I am enjoying your boyish enthusiasm here- I left my biology class at least twice, long ago, the dead frog's twitching muscles didn't impress me nor did the dissection of a cow's eye- I love animals, am a tiresome vegetarian and would if given a time machine, get up, walk out, though I was already on "the list" - no doubt it contributed to my expulsion. How do you prefer your ectoplasm in the films- yes, Jasper will tell, oh her, she's round the twist- I'm not really, I just sort of "stream of consciousness " ask Tony, I love his channel too and his original stories and chats- I've learned so much from them, quite the Renaissance man-
Looking forward to hearing YOUR interpretation of the classics and hope you also write- one of Jasper's stories has become a favorite of mine, not just in the ghost genre- my mom died last Christmas- his protagonist was a very kind, sympathetic character, so easy to relate to and unlike so many caretakers I met on a volunteer job- the S.P.C.A.- often the "shelved like books" elderly never spoke, never responded until we placed a pup or kitten or our mascot chicken, Annabelle, in their lap- she was a lot more intelligent and insightful than many of the staff! Nice to meet you. Namaste from Canada, NOT Toronto Alas...Holly Golightly alias an Edward Gorey Prima Ballerina, Serial Murderess, Underpaid Nanny or perhaps, a hapless, blancmange! I PROMISE TO NEVER "BABBLE" ON FOR SUCH A DREARY LENGTH, AGAIN- MEGRIM COMING AND SLEEP DEPRIVATION- sorry, I do apologize though!

The introductory music is so loud and jarring I have to mute the volume, then miss the first sentence.
