    I really like this story. It's one that is very visual - both charming and horrifying in turn. I'm sure there must be a cinematic adaptation, but I can't recall ever having seen one. Thanks very much for a New Year's Eve treat. Everyone, be safe, be well, and ride this coming year's wave to its crest then smoothly into shore (must be thinking of Home, for coastal metaphors are on my mind today). Cheers!
