I get bullly squads like this all the time when I'm playing as nurse. The gens typically all get done in less than 4 minutes. Then they tea bag me at the gate and call me trash. Makes me wonder how Supa Alf could win 500+ games in a row... especially if playing against bully squads like this on Lery's map.

Bruh, English is like Otz's 2nd or 3rd language and even he uses the correct 'you're' but I see a bunch of morons from English speaking countries who always use the wrong 'your'. Pretty embarrassing.

I was maining trapper when I first started and went against a team that made me never want to play trapper again, healing in front of me, saboing hooks in front of me, blinding me for half the game, disarming my traps, it was brutal, I had about 8 hours in the game and had no idea how to counter it.
This feels like revenge and I love it.

Being Wraith was actually a disadvantage, and Otz still made use of his ability against flashlights. A true professional. Love the sass at the end, too. These survivors felt so entitled to the win that they tried everything to make Otz game hard, but it fell flat on its face.

the video was deeply inspirational for me cuz I told myself these same things and kinda failed when I got bullied and it was embarrassing because I didn't know much about the game but what those guys were doing just seemed wrong, and I was just confused .
I think this is my favorite match I've seen of DBD, as a whole. It's like watching Otz reveal his true power. He somehow manages to play completely fairly throughout the entire game without losing his cool; he doesn't even resort to camping or even a basement hook, AND all the while he's still communicating with chat. True legend.

Play for the gen setups as killer. If you force the 3 or 4 gen, you'll do well - regardless of your mechanical skill with said killer. Game sense trumps mechanical skill.

@@B727Xsadly this is how the game is supposed to be, and I say this as a killer main. In this game, our job is to kill these survivors, and their job is to be the annoying POSs that they are. It’s suck, I know, but for that, each kill is something to be savored. Hope you know the grip of this game and suffer properly like all of us.

This is why I often run the perk that makes you immune to flashlights, I know there are better perks but I find it so satisfying to stare straight at them and have nothing change.
I have my main build as iron grasp, mad grit, agitation, and one last perk which is usually light born.
Even without a swf so many survivors use these strategies and can’t tell each other.

Tbf the only reason you should have hours like Otz is if you’re either in a comp team or a streamer. Otherwise I would encourage you to go exercise or find another hobby to engage in. Games are fun but if you’re spending 8 hours a day you’d better be making money on it lol

@wolvreigns afaik survivors aint exactly known to have the ability to be aware of the chosen killer in queue, which kinda leads to believe that equipping full flashsquad was their conscious choice ahead of the game. Plus theyre ruzzian: either angry hyper-competitive kids with affirmation issues or aforementioned but middleaged factory workers, judging by demographic situation with no in-between statistically. Doesn't take a genius to realize they play in such a lineup more less consistently (hence name tags), which in on itself doesn't exclude the possibility of them playing this exact way too

A couple days ago I went against a 4 man. They brought me to RPD, had toolboxes, Exponential, Flip Flop, Boil Over, Unbreakable, Circle of Healing. And they camped library the entire time. That was a very… interesting game.

After ages of facing bully squads, I've figured out the absolute best strategy is to be Otz. Works EVERY TIME and the best thing is they don't expect it. And you get a cool beard as a bonus, so it's really OP. Glad they didn't patched this.
how i deal with them :
1) try to avoid the clicking one!
2) dont follow the one looping the shed or any easy "god loops" for too long!
3) focus on gens!
and last : Focus on multi survivors! dont just go after one! its a waste.
Bonus : Play like its a normal match, dont let them get in your head! even if some get on your nervs with how rediculis they "outplay" you! keep it cool!
Just stay in a corner, best way if you are not certain you gonna beat their asses, easy.
Easier way to deal with them:
Step 1 insidious bubba
Step 2 send a gamer to the basement
Step 3 watch them fall one at a time as they try and fail to save the doomed survivor instead of doing gens

It amazes me the amount of patience and how predictive Otz is when playing killer, so satisfying to watch him play killers.
It's a treat to watch him play as Trapper as well. The way he puts his traps and predict when they'll get triggered is perfection. I don't like playing Trapper (wish I did but I don't have the patience) but it makes me feel glad someone can just play him well. LOL
Some months ago I got one swf bully squad in my first match of the day. I was with Myers and spend literally 40+ minutes, they were trying to make me dc but I gave them the longest lost they ever had sacrificing everyone of them one by one. That morning became a very satisfying morning after that 😊
Some people form bully squads because they got bullied by the killer, some killers bully teams because of having dealt with bully squads, it is just an unending cycle that affect solo Q and killer mains who are not toxic. I am glad there are people like otz who is a good role model to the DBD community, keep up the great work!

@@whyrmonstwoozer Eh, it is. People paid money for a game they wanted to play. Back in the day community was much more about the slasher atmosphere and much less about LITERAL cyber bullying. Right now if you're buying the game as a fresh guy wanting to experience some slasher chases, forget it. You can't just say "don't let it get to you" when 4 people are literally abusing you and holding you hostage in game deliberately not finishing the final gen while they have their way with you. It may be a new fetish with kids these days, but I don't recall paying money to get abused in any way for real is something most people want.
I've had arguments where survivors justify these bully squads as "they are just playing to have fun. Why are u so angry."
Remember that survivors fun not equal killer fun. Likewise killer fun not equal survivor fun(nurses, blights, iri huntress etc).
I don't care if I lose or win,but to have fun. I would rather lose against 4 swf playing the game optimally than these SWF going out of their way to make the game miserable.
In the end it's a matter of respect for the people you are playing against. Treat the person u are playing against as a human being.

When I go against the latter as a Killer, I still can have fun, even if they all escape at the end. Bully Squads constanty taunt, teabag and click at you, never allow you to do anything and take joy out of messing with you.
I once played an Oni at the Meat Packing Plant and these dickbags just kept following me like a pack of wolves, constantly surrounding me, pallets stunning and flashlight blinding me. And whenever I tried to strick them, they dodged behind pallets and corners and I missed. It felt so miserable I straight DCd.

Amazingly, I had a bully squad just like that yesterday. Clown on Eerie Of Crows, 3 flashlights and 1 sabo toolbox, all taking hits for each others, 2 boons (healing and exponential), Flip Flop, Boil Over, all that good stuff. I tried to keep clear-minded, tried to analyze how they were playing (I had 3 or 4 around me at all times), and tried not to rush or fall into dumb traps. They tried CJing twice, in a row (guy got hit after the pallet, vaulted back, pretended to run away only to vault it back once more), and Locker-CJ about 4 or 5 times, as much as just jumping into lockers to force the flashsaves from their mates. I was legit happy when I got one to die on their third hook, 2 others bled out and the last one got hooked in Basement. The worst part about this is : I used NVidia's software to record the match after it ended, and I couldn't even get the full match because the soft only records the last 20mn, and I missed about 5mn of the beginning. Absolutely crazy stuff

I dont know if its just my luck or what but i que into bully squads fairly frequently. They seem to not have a clue how to deal with a legion though...they try the "Everyone crowd him" shit and I just feral for the free down on the 5th hit. They implode when you feral jump windows and pallets too
@@masterreaper115 I've on rare occasion teamed up with "bully squads". Most of them just spent time learning flashlight saves, including locker saves, and maybe a couple other techs, but were not very good at looping or other parts of the game. Admittedly they also care less about winning usually which is why they do dumb stuff like crowding a legion.
Really needed this as a TOTAL newbie player (about a week of playing between killer and survivor) going in as a baby ghostface. I've recently been getting SLIGHTLY better at playing him (can now 99% stalks and usually get at least one kill, yayyy) and then for some reason the game just... started only putting me in matches with players EXACTLY like these. Before I realized I was being harassed/bullied/mocked and literally having myself held hostage on maps unless I disconnected, I just thought I was genuinely so awful at the game that I'd never improve or get to use the skills I was learning. I even switched killers desperate to see if maybe I was just better at less of a sneaky killer, only to recieve the exact same treatment. I know it's silly to say but as someone newer to competitive/online pvp gaming as a whole, it seriously broke my morale for a couple days and made me feel like I wasn't good enough to keep playing the game.
Loading into every single match only to have a swf team coordinate locker stuns and crazy amounts of flashlighting until i literally had no chance of even one kill, only to spend the rest of the game chasing me around and flashlighting me (literally had matches where i'd back off and make it clear i was trying to get away, and then the whole group would come out, circle me, flashlight me, and follow me to keep me blind) and hold me hostage on the map, and then send me insults after the match? it stopped being funny after the first time, and became incredibly demoralizing and humiliating, and i consider myself someone who almost never takes games seriously and is pretty damn self confident. i've legit never felt so close to quitting a game out of like... sheer giving up on myself.
after watching this, i realized this is just an issue for EVERYONE and not me being too garbage to ever succeed against normal players, went back with a better mindset, and actually did pretty dang well for a newbie against a bully squad. thankfully after that i've been getting a more decent mix of games and got to play a buncha matches today with really cool swf and random squads, and was pretty consistently getting 2 to 4 kills and friendly messages after games, which was pretty great. it was so stupidly relieving and nice to see that i actually HAD learned a bit about playing ghostie and just hadn't been able to put any of that to use until playing with squads. still got my ass whooped a few times, but by teams who were just super good, not playing cruelly. left the game tonight feeling really nice and much more enthusiastic about continuing to play it, and i'm excited to meet more chilled out players and learn from better players who aren't dicks to newbies.
so like. if you're reading this, and you're one of the people in these comments claiming that this kind of trolling doesn't change the gameplay/affect how the game goes. you are Extremely wrong. especially for new players this shit is incredibly humiliating and demoralizing, and makes us want to stop playing or at least only play with our friends. getting tbagged at (in an unfriendly way) or overloaded with other bully tactics in a match absolutely affects how the killer will continue to play, because it makes us doubt ourselves and want to throw the match, and so we won't be trying nearly as hard the rest of the match, nor will we be able to enjoy it at all. and for those of us newer to online gaming, this shit hurts us outside of the matches too; it's hella easy for us to get convinced we just suck so bad we should never touch these games again when we don't know about toxicity in online games.
if you give a shit about fellow players, especially newer ones, please don't do this stuff. it does leave marks, it worsens the gameplay for everyone, and it's honestly just such a mean unsportsmanly thing to do. if you're keen on trolling or being goofy, do something like trying to befriend the killer instead, or more harmless goofs. there's a Real Person playing that character, and it'd feel better for everyone if you chose to troll in a way that bettered their day, not worsened it.
this is a longpost sorry but. one last thing. could just be me. but as a newbie i swear this is a mostly survivor side issue. i've had Tons of survivor matches (played those first) and have almost never seen toxic killers. seen a couple campers, which was toxic and sucked, but most of the troll killers were just friendlies, which obv i didn't mind lol. in fact, playing survivor i've legit seen more toxic survivors on my own teams than toxic killers. not to say toxic killers aren't out there, but as a new player this is definitely a survivor issue in the lower ranks, and it's definitely targeted at newer killers.

ty for writing this! idk if you're still playing the game but a lot of what u said i can relate to. been playing this game for a long time before I left it and I'm just returning to it after a couple of years, and I remember trying to play killer years ago was awful just cause what you're saying. a lot of squads just bullying me and me being a baby killer was awful. made me never want to play again. now that I'm back I'm giving it another try and i hope I'll do better next time. i know it's a game and i try not to take this personally but it's rough sometimes w players like this.

I’m late to the DBD craze and only started playing about 3 months ago, as a beginner killer main, I felt this so hard! Faced my first brutal, and I mean, BRUTAL swf squad last week. They all had flashlights, so I ran lightborn - I was able to hook all of them twice, but they got away in the endgame. I had never felt so mentally exhausted after a match, but even though I got my ass kicked, I felt I got better afterwards. Comments like these are so reassuring, hope you’re still killin’ it!

I still remember that someone still tried the locker flashy saves on Dead Dawg when I was playing Trapper. I just ate all the DS and Head On until two of them are left. I still dont know what they were thinking
As Trapper you can also trap the locker and M1 if they come out 😁

I was paired with a bully squad on solo queue survivor and I put a stop to it. It was a SWF of 3 people and all they did was mess with the killer. I finished 3 gens all by myself while they were getting hung. When it came down to me saving them, I didn’t. I revealed myself to the killer and made it clear I was not a part of the bully squad. Relatable af lol. Solo queue survivor gang. I had this game on a cold wind map where my teammates (Kate,Claudette,and Meg) were all kinda bullying this bubba and I could see he was upset since he was hitting them on hook (I had kindred). Anyway each time he would come towards me I would stop and face him, and drop my item as a sign of respect/saying “I’m a nice survivor sir”. And he never hit me on hook. When I was death hook I dropped my item again to him and he was sweet and let me wiggle off him so I helped him find Kate that was left to kill her (sorry not sorry 😬) and he got her and nodded up and down as a sign of respect to me then let me escape through the gate. It warmed my heart lol that bubba was my new best friend 😂 glad he knew Felix (me) had nothing to do with the 3 bullies I was with. Sweet killers make my week 10X times better.
Same they kept bullying the killer flashing him non stop and i stood inbetween them and the killer and was shaking my head at telling them to stop. Long story short i help the killer kill of of them by showing where they were and blocking doors and the killer opens gate for me.
Same, in the past I've given myself up as a free kill when a killers gets bullied by the other survivors, and I also tend to give hatch to the least troublesome survivor as killer lol
Although sometimes I give hatch to the one person who loops me for ten minutes instead because their teammates are potatoes and I feel bad for them 😂

I'm not experienced enough at killer to deal with this sort of stuff totally. I got a bully squad and killed two of them the other day.
From what I could gather, there's two key issues with them: 1) they're heavily reliant on a particular place on a particular map so they tend to almost always 3-gen themselves in the process, 2) two or three of them are usually wasting time trying to meme, so they're usually pretty slow to do gens. And 3) there's always a weak link and also a ringleader-idiot you can freely ignore, which seems to always make them angry. These kinds of teams make me realize why the game is so antagonistic towards solo queue, when you have to balance things to counter what are effectively pro tourney teams queuing up in the hope of thrashing someone with 100 hours in the game. The main counter just seems to be thousands of hours worth of experience.

As for me playing this game for over 1-2 years, whenever I face such a squad, I never feed into the rage and just keep a cool head like Otz- they'll likely make a mistake (unless one of them is cheating which seems to happen more often than not ...) I 2kd a bully quad once because they were all bagging at the gate, and let me repeatedly hit them, so I down and hooked one, chased two out and downed and hooked a 2nd going for the save. It felt good being able to call them out on their stupidity and I knew they could see my comments as they were all PC

In my experience, teams like this almost never win their games. They're too focussed on being the epic trolls they _think_ they are, as opposed to doing gens and just playing the game. Coincidentally they're also the people I've gotten the most angry messages/hackusations from.

Problem I have with people who say that no one should complain about being bully squaded is just that they don't consider the killer's experience in it. Sure, the survivors are having a blast being absolute dickheads, but the killer is having a miserable, demoralizing match for a good 15 minutes or so. Then again, the same thing applies to omegablink Nurse, just for the survivors instead.
If you're having a 15 minute match against an Omegablink nurse I want to know what people you're playing with and where they are when I need them v_v
Dude it's so funny that bully squads are considered fair and balanced, but if you tunnel somebody you're ruining other peoples' fun and you deserve to be banned.
I think the big difference here is that these people aren't doing this as an optimal way to win, they are doing it because they want to be jerks. They are trying to piss people off and prolong the game so they can make the killer as angry as possible.
I usually enjoyed the challenge and it felt extra rewarding kicking their asses, if i managed to do so. I vividly remember a match where a squad bullied my trapper and then fucked up a bit around shack and got destroyed in a minute or so. needless to say, they were VERY salty about it and bragged how they "outplayed" me the whole time before etc.
There’s a difference even in an insanely good nurse because they’re just playing the game hooking that’s it usually not smacking survivors while they’re on the hook. They’re just playing the objective not messing with people.

Actual underrated opinion. People don't realize it's a lot more fun to chase and have all of this little mindgames of when to pick up, where to hook, do they make a sabo play, etc. than to see 2 survivors in 2 prolonged chases because they pre drop and you switched once and whoops all gens got done now. Well, you better hope you got the last guy down so you can camp him to get a 1k and then play grab roulette. If you lose it, you got 0k, if you won it, you get to do it all over again.
Even chasing a really good survivor when there is a 4 man is making me feel so much better because I know for certain there is at least 1 more guy "chasing" me to make a flashy save

I remember dealing with a group like this back before the Doc rework. We were on the plague map and they spammed flashes and tbags the usuals. I 3 gen'd the map and then proceeded to drag the game out to a miserable hour and a half. Tight 3 gen with a doc build that forces the terror radius to almost the entire map. I just kept whackin till they ran out of endurance to play optimally anymore. Got so much bm in the post game about how i made the game so miserable etc etc. Its alright for you 4 to make a game miserable but its no fun at all when someone does it back

It hasn't been more than 4 months but I got one of those bully squads, I was playing new clown for the first time, on the new (The Dredge) map without any experience in it and was trying to do his Adept (all perks still level 1) and my add-ons were common. After lots of bullying and clicking when I finally got someone it was a grab in a shack locker and I got blinded (Wich I didn't even know was possible back then) and I thought "Not worth it." And I quit because honestly? Fuck that. If people get in a asymmetrical game with the purpose to torment the enemy by abusing the game mechanics it's just sad. I could stop and take their time by having them do gens but I just got to the next one. I never quit games but that one was just ridiculous

The latest patch had a lot of good going with it, but they also failed miserably in a very important aspect, namely the soloQ vs SWF.
SoloQ is to be fair rather balanced most of the time, it is with SWF all balance gets thrown out the window.
This patch did buff SWF with Off the record, and at the same time hurt the soloQ further by making perks that is only strong vs soloQ even stronger like Eruption.
Some unforeseen things happen that can be understandable that they missed like Merciless + Pain resonance combo, but they were also about to implement Off the Record working in end game right after they removed that from DS, it was that the community pointed it out to say the least that made them change it when it hit live.
That is a huge miss on their part that you should be able to expect anyone with a little experience in DbD to catch.
You’re such an inspiring person to watch play this game. You always keep your cool under pressure and you appreciate a competitive play. Definitely worth learning from.

That’s fair. Because when my friends and I do head on and flashbang stuff. We just do enough to get the flashbang. And if we somehow finish all 5 gens we still let the killer have us for tolerating us.
Personally, the few times I've been frustrated enough as a survivor to switch to bully squad, we literally just refuse to do gens and just play to enjoy ourselves as much as we can without worrying about escaping. That way the killer at least is getting a 4k for dealing with us.
Depends on how meme we are being we will do that as well. I did diversion slippery meat urban evasion and I forgot 4th perk. But we all just would try and 4% on first hook lol we didn’t touch a single gen
@@makashika I'm not sure I'd classify that as a bully squad. As a killer I can usually tell which squads are there to try fun builds and which ones are actively harassing. I get that survivor teams sometimes want to have a bit of a laugh and it usually shows.

If a team is kinda struggling then I'll let someone dead on hook live and go for someone else, to make make the game 'more fun' for everyone but if I'm struggling and only got 2 hooks with 1 gen left best belive I'm looking to kill anyone I can lol. The new update has really stopped the tunneling tho, I will always go for the rescuer now regardless.

I remember a few months ago I went against a bully squad as a “pre-nerfed”spirit. I had only had a few games experience with the spirit and it was exactly around the time I first started playing. And boy was it rough. They all had flashlights and were constantly clicking at me.
I had watched a couple of your videos and basically all I did that entire match was moon-walk lmfao. Ended up winning and getting called a hacker bc of my hours.
When I tell you by the end of this game my head was throbbing and sweat was actually DRIPPING off of me like I had went for a run in the desert.

I do not play killer seriously, I let people go more often than not so my 'mmr' is low. I usually get about 1/8 games or so being a smurf bully squad like this. I often find being absolutely unpredictable helps. You see them all running as a group towards shack? run away, a couple will always follow you into a dead zone. Slugged someone and started chasing another because they look easy? start chase and find a random 3rd on their way to pick up the slug. Act like you are gonna face camp then start dancing with someone while they get the save, they dont body block for the unhook then. Waste time picking up, then randomly dont, even with pallets.
Most of all. Act like they are your real life good friends. It makes it 10000% more enjoyable. Like verbally compliment yourself and them when a good play happens.
I dunno, I kinda miss going against survivors who...play I guess? My most recent killer matches all were so damn boring I decided to take a break. I was playing on autopilot for the bloodpoints and not once I had to use my brain too much to win my games left and right because survivors keep killing themselves on hook, giving up, not doing gens and such. I really just want to go up against survivors who play the game but guess that's too much to ask for.

Congrat you lost 3 generator in the process because they all are on coms and know when you are coming and they all have sprint burst ready. But you manage somehow to get someone down after 5 awful minutes of being unable to do anything, if you camp they genrush. If you leave someone will come for the rescue and you are at the same point.

That was so pleasing to watch. i ALWAYS run lightborn because i cant stand flashlights (who can) but props to you for just playin it out. i remember the first bully squad i went against when i first started. i ended up giving up and rather than doing gens they all circled me and repeatedly blinded me while i was on a rock. Ashamed to say after that match i literally cried and went to bed.

I remember when I was newer and how jarring it was going from a match where all the survivors were so fun and nice, to a match where I was clicked and t-bagged and stunned constantly because I didn't understand how to deal with pallets and loops. It sucks when a game you grow to like actually ends up making you cry because of the people you're matched with. I wish the community would do better! Especially to killers who are clearly newer to playing that killer/the game in general. I'm sorry you dealt with that

At least a good squad tries to be efficient and make it less of a torment for the killer, like complimenting the killers efforts at the end or simply not waiting at the gates with everyone.
But this kind of team that whines at the end for losing and spamming the flashlight all game are the worst. Like literally no reason to do any of that but to diminish the killers mood even further.
The difference between a strong swf and a bully squad is the little things that tell you that they don't care about the killer having fun. A strong swf might bring flashlights and maybe a head-on build or two, but they largely are going to commit to gens and go for saves as necessary. A bully squad will click at you constantly and teabag, they'll do the last second switch to items like in Otz's vid here, and they'll go for plays for killers to take bait into their traps. I have a decent swf with which I play that runs a good number of perks to make plays, but we don't bring more than 2 items per lobby and we don't BM unless killer is blatantly camping, tunneling off hook, BMing us, or runs NOED.
They just trying to have fun, dunno why people take a few clicks to be an insult to their very bloodline

Usually when i see 4 flashlights and matching nicks i use this: mad grit, iron grasp, agitation and lightborn, these perks almost always give me 4k against such survivors

The biggest key is to just stay calm and collected and really play your heart out. SWF teams tend to swarm and slip up a lot when they realize you're not falling for their tricks.

A few years ago my first game as killer was against a bully squad. A complete new player to the game was hit by four man tea bags, pointing, blinding for the sake of blinding because they knew they could get away with it, map offerings, standing to heal at the exit gates for no reason other than to rub it in my face. The whole 9 yards. It was that moment that I just stood at the entrance to the exit gate and gave up. That moment made me see how toxic the community could be and I just couldn't be assed with it so I refunded and deleted the game. Have never considered playing it since which is a shame because it looks fun but the idea of survivors doing what they did before just turns me off of the idea. It also doesn't help that I was in college at the time and was subject to bullying there as well.
Question for you: how do you get bullied in college? You're a grown ass person. Why would you allow that?
You are right and i recognize about almost everything you said. Unfortunately, i react really bad to bully people, because i despite evil people i need to make them suffer and it never end well. This game is good, but the community is the worst of all. But you should wait till this winter, there will be a mode to play only with bots and customize your experience. So no bullying, no insult, no streamers who humiliate others on stream, just you and a bunch of bots having fun the way you want. I wait the mode bots a lot and it's the only reason i still playing it : to unlock every killers for that day.
And for what it worth, i am sorry for your college experience.
@@HayatoWang The sympathy is appreciated. All of education sucked to be honest, it was just 19 years of torture and I hardly learned anything afterward so it was near enough pointless XD. Also It's good to hear they are adding a bot mode. I am not sure if I will get the game again anytime soon as my PC is getting rather long in the tooth but who knows, I may reconsider it at some point.

Even if i was one of the best of class every year and i never had any issues with bullies (mostly because i am not scared to insult people or punch them if they provoke me), i was bored and i never learned anything new. So I spent most of my time playing video game or just reading comics while being in class. But still, since i needed to wake up at 6 a.m. and i was back home at 7 p.m. and this 5 day per week, i had the feeling to just be tortured so the teachers can be paid while i was basically being tortured 8 hours per day for nothing.
But hey, at least for me it's been 10 years and since then i am an happy guy living the dream. So at least the nightmare always get an happy ending and i hope it's the same for you ;)
Coming back to DBD subject, yes they announced the bot mode for winter. Apparently for the little information we have it will be in custom matches you will be able to get some bots to play with you alone or with some friend that you can invite. I will play both with friends of mine who wait this mode to start playing the game AND by my own testing meme build and stuff. I just hope that BHVR don't mess up about it like they often does.
My advice is to not take it so personal. Since you're new and not yet good enough to clap back with equally sweaty shit just afk and let them be bored and end the match. Then move on.
That's how back in my day we did it. You get CLAPPED in game then move on. You keep getting CLAPPED until you get better then finally get to CLAP them back.

@@CrimsonHeart3 Ah, I can see that. Though I also think it can be difficult to apply that knowledge when panicked or frustrated. These things need to go together.
For me, it’s not really about whether I can “deal” with bully squads. There are just good survivors teams that have beaten me and I’ve been like “yeah, fair enough, respect” and gone on my day.
The issue is intent. I could lose, or I could get a 4K, but if I know the people on the other end where just trying to take the piss for kicks, I’m gonna come out feeling a bit worse off than I went in - because I mean, I like to have games where I think everyone’s having fun. I try to play fair, i try not to tunnel, I basically go for full hook stages every game, even to my own expense, because I know what it’s like to get sacrificed while somebody’s sitting on no hooks and don’t want people leaving the game like that, and I normally try to keep an eye out for whoever I think is really putting the effort in to let go.
It’s a game, basically. I’m playing a game with people and I wanna do it in a way where people are having fun, including me, so when a bunch of clowns come in thinking that the best way to have fun is to just find out how many ways you can make the game unpleasant for the killer, and that I HAVE to sit there and let them do it… It’s just disappointing at best, and on a bad day, it’s just miserable.
When people say “I enjoy the challenge”, I mean, sure, props to you i guess, but if somebody where to start shouting insults in my face in real life, I’d be affected. In game, if the communication of ill intent is clear, it’s exactly the same, and you can’t help your response to that emotionally sometimes. This is what people forget when they defend it, there’s a human on the other side of the screen, and they could be having an awful day, or a great one, but either way… What type of person needs to get a kick out of making it that bit worse through the game they wanna enjoy?
All I can say is, as a console player, thank god I don’t have experience the endgame chat as well.

Any sane person in real life would just leave do something else or punch them for being rude. But because it's a video game and because there is a DC penalty, we are basically held in hostage by these people and that's why they can do what they do.
These people are easy to recognize : they are always hypocritical liars. They will ALWAYS find an excuse to justify their shitty attitude, they always turn the table and says that YOU are the toxic one. They will insult you, humiliate you, call you out on streams if they can. Most of them are even in the commentary here if you want to see what they look like. That's the people that will says awful stupid things like "get good at the game lol me i can handle SWF team because i am the best blablabla, you just need to play nurse the most awful way to win but they deserve it blablabla"
So yeah, don't let them change your mind. You seem like a good guy in the video game AND in real life. Don't change it for these toxic people, that's what they want : to make us become as pathetic as them.

I wish we could normalize ending the double-standards in DBD. It seems almost normal and almost typical for a 4-man to make a Killer's experience awful but if its done back to them then its 4 people insulting and dogpiling one person. That is never okay!

Double standards are at an all time high in the dbd community. Both sides complaining about meta, while running meta themselves. Both sides trying to win so they’re using efficient strats, while the other side does the same yet there’s always complaining. The survivor and killer community are an absolute joke now and since the 6.1.0 it’s been over the top

Doesn't matter what side you play, or what you do in the game, everyone is always gonna be insulting you anyway.
My only reason to still play DBD is because the game is grindy as fuck and i want to unlock the killers i miss with iridescent shards so when the bots update coming out, i will just play with bots and some friends in custom matches. But other than that, there is no fun allowed either in killer or survivor mode.
If you play killer, you will have only tryhard team with 5000 hours and they are just here to make you upset by blinding you, stunning you and make you unable to play as a true killer. After that they will humiliate you in the end game chat.
If you play survivor, you will just have the most braindead teamate ever against a russian nurse streamer with 10 000 hours who gonna destroy you. Even if you somehow manage to get 4 generators done, unhook a lot of people, make the killer chasing you for 5 min straight, at the end the claudette who self-cared the whole game will insult you and says that you are useless and they lost because of you.
I don't even talk about cheaters, about streamers community harassing others, ...
So yeah, when you say to me "i uninstalled it and it's better for myself"' i totally understand you.
Ran into a TTV and his teammates like this so it was all recorded, i beated them with Clown of all killers and they kept complaining saying i was a boring, salty killer, ohh it was glorious

some survivors think killers are just there to entertain them and will call you boring if you don't allow them to get 500 flashlight saves in a row
Happened to me as dredge against some ttvs on game, i was super new to him at the time and usually main huntress so they got a 4 man out even with me attemping a camp at the end to cope, funniest shit ever when he gets stuck in the little dip near the exit gate and i can body block him till end game collapse, all of them kept calling me pathetic in stream and end game chat lmao

otzdarva is the best killer I've seen so far, he knows everything survivors next move, and he knows what to do, not just play randomly and hook who ever survivor he find.
Every good killer main has this knowledge and know what the surv are doing. Otz is good but best killer hmm. There are a lot of very good killers out there.

I always found it dumb that it doesnt show you if they are queued together.
Because the game is drastically different against 4 solo queues with no comms vs 4 kids in discord.
Some perks are made as if the game is purely solo queue.
People would probably consinstently dodge those teams, I guess that would be the reason why they never implemented a feature like that. In the endgame lobby would be a good idea though.

Transparency and BHVR is not something that go together and this is a big part of who they are and have been for the last 5,5 years.
Besides it is a core part of avoiding work, right now there is uncertainty and plausibility that the survivors may or may not be a SWF group, thereby keeping the player base from having concrete knowledge of how bad the problem really is (especially the killer side).
For example, if a killer player plays 10 matches where 5 of them is against soloQ people and those matches are fair, and then the other 5 matches are against SWF where the killer gets steamrolled, of course a lot of killer players will be a lot more vocal about the massive balance issue if they can for certain know that it was a SWF.
BHVR has done good stuff for a few short months now, but they have years of negligence, disrespect towards the community, and making horrible decisions upon horrible decisions for half a decade behind them.

A few tips on how to dodge bully squads:
1. Look for their names (people who use names that have something in common etc. pokemon characters)
2. See if they're on the same platform, if they are, check whether they are friends on it. (Talking about steam)
3. If their profiles are all private, dodge immediately.
4. Hit escape and turn on volume on your headset for last 20 seconds. You can still dodge at 0:06 mark and if they quickswitch you will still hear the sound during 'exit lobby' message, but you really need to be fast.
5. They use same characters with/without same cosmetics
I suggest checking off more of these to be more sure who you're dodging, I had my fair share of bullies and they all ended badly. Most people will start to panic, get angry and lose focus, ultimately losing the game and raging in lobby. Dodging people like that will save your nerves.
I wish their was an option to opt out of swf games
none of those are a guarantee tho. my friend and i have matching names and sometimes play Cybil and Lisa, but we aren't a bully squad.
This legit just saved my game! I was playing clown for a daily so I was already not super confident going in. Then I saw the 6 second switch and loaded in with a full squad at dead dog begging me to go to main. I immediately thought of you and destroyed them slowly but surely. My favourite moment was when they realised I wasn’t going in and came out in the open to taunt and I got a 3 person slug. It was extremely satisfying and I can’t thank you enough for all the tips in this video!!

You should make it known that there are double lockers at gallows, on the top of main (depending on the window spawn), the 2x breakable wall tile and the Water Tower U wall as well as multiple on edge map which were implemented as part of the Dredge update. Also, from experience, hard tunneling tilts the comms of a bullysquad like this so try doing that as relentlessly as you can. They'll take hits and feed you slugs if you do so. Usually the totem at main will be an Exponential + COH primarily ran for the exponential. Well done with the educational part during the gameplay by the way! You mentioned that the basement is a good place to note against squads like this but remember there are saveable lockers in there, too. Also the window upstairs next to infinite is a transparent one as well. Usually a lower-level squad similar to this one will have a dedicated person doing gens and three people distracting the killer, tunnel the one doing gens if you can find them.
I’ve learned that the more I get upset about survivors doing this the worse I do. So I just try my best and go from there
This is one of the reasons I had to stop playing as Killer. I just couldn’t have fun anymore. Glad to know there’s vids like this that give me hope.

It’s so funny how people are man, these guys crave power so badly that they do stuff kind of nonsense just so that if they win or if they make the killer dc they feel super powerful about themselves when in reality literally no one is impressed nor really cares about these players. I hope one day they can all mature and actually grow up to be normal human beings.
