lmao! this is a good one Rob, I remember watching this when it first came out, and my wife and I were in stitches. for the same reason that you like it. The same thing happened to us. It was my parents house, and my wife wanted to be especially quiet, because she didn't want them thinking any thing. Except in our case, we were doing it when the bed broke, and my wife was mortified. There was no way she was going to cop any blame for that. The next day, she wanted me to fix it and pretend that nothing happened. It could not be fixed, it was too old, and so she wanted me to go out and buy a new one and try to replace it without my parents becoming wise. But, it was 50 years old, so the only place that we might find one that might get past the radar was in an op shop. we looked and looked, the best I could do was a bed end. The rest of the bed was ok, it was only the ends that were wonky. so I ended up spending the afternoon making one bed out of one and a half, and ditching the evidence. Funny how the women get all up-tight about what our parents were doing when we were created. How do our parents live with themselves, knowing that we know how we were created? xD

It really IS relatable! My husband didn't pitch our tent on a railway track - but he did find a 'nice hollow' - that turned out to be a dry creek bed. Or rather... a 'sometimes dry' creek bed - so that when it rained - not on us but up in the hills above us... our lovely little hollow became a flash flood zone. That was fun...😵‍💫

Personally I'm not married, so I'll be talking about my Married Siblings. I'm definitely from a family of realists. I've heard 2 of my Sisters and their Husband's Going For It. The most memorable time was when my Brother and His Wife who where visiting from England. Mum let them have her room and our walls aren't exactly the thickest. One afternoon Mum, My Sister and I all heard their Afternoon Delight in Mum's Bed. One thing that was missing was the Wife bringing up past grievances in the middle of the night.
Sure I'd like to get Married some day but there are a few things I'd never do to my future husband. That comes under the heading of Honesty and Respect. Don't say "I'm Fine!" when you're not, Men aren't Mind Readers. It's not fair to expect them to be. I think Women who use Fake Crying to get their way are The Lowest Of The Low. That's Emotional Abuse! True men have been historically discouraged from showing them but they do have Feelings and Emotions. It Absolutely Destroys a Decent Kind Gentleman to see someone he cares about Crying especially Women. Even if it's a Lady he doesn't personally know who is Crying in public, even the Biggest Strongest of Men can be effected. If you're lucky enough to find yourself a nice Kind Gentleman don't Destroy Him just get to get your own way. Am I right Ladies!

I clearly remember the second sketch from when it aired on Telly back in the late 80's. It stuck with me. I can't claim to being very successful in relationships, but in the three serious ones, we all knew that men and women check other people out, that it's normal and mostly means nothing at all. If it does mean something then your own relationship isn't working. Berating the other isn't going to help much.
