Hey brother. I trained wrestling for a long time and I've been thinking about trying bjj. Does my wrestling background helps me in BJJ and how long does it take for a person with wrestling background to compete in his first competition?

Give it about 8 months of constant technical drilling and rolling but there are definitely other factors such as training partners, injuries, ability to learn ect…
