Just shows you how badass those old Toyota Land Cruisers really are. Rolled it, tried to start, geysered out the oil and started er up! I love the old school rugged look of them too. I wish they'd make machines like that nowadays.
Rothy mate there are easier way to change the oil in your truck. Really good to see the old girl started again mate, and I can not wait to see the video. keep up all the good work you do mate and thank you.
I rolled a Ford Explorer in Iceland in 2014. Very upsetting at the time but eventually had a tractor turn the car upright. Only damage was, NOTHING, has we were in snow. Not even the mirror. We would have been much better prepared had the car had snow tyres on it but that's what you get from SAD cars, not joking but that's that name of the company in Reykjavik!
Troy and Brent, if you just bought the magazine your right there is not any reference to the Roothy roll over. As the "ALL COMMENTS" above states "see the exclusive video etc Issue 218 of 4WD Action DVD. It's on there DVD so your comments are misguided and out of order
Graham, I bought issue 218 with the dvd attached to it, On the DVD there is no reference to the roll over, Sorry but your comment is misguided, mine was perfectly stated... buy the dvd yourseld and see...:)
brent v Brent, apologies mate, I subscribe to the mag & DVD and took their word before viewing the DVD. Very disappointed with the Publishers for false advertising. To 4WD Action where is your apology for not having the so called exclusive footage as advertised. I imagine there were plenty of your followers anxious to see the footage but left disappointed :(
Why was the "only footage captured" not put on the DVD?? And advertised over the DVD cover that this track broke mustard and claims rolled 4WDs yet there was no broken mustard and no rolled 4WDs on this DVD. Disappointed 4WD Action!!!!
How's this shit, came across Roothys roll over on youtube, and knowing I haven't seen it before and thinking I missed a issue, I looked for a copy on ebay, only to find out I did have a copy they just left out the footage :( now I own 2 DVD's
Well you wont be seeing Roothy and Glen Haddon on 4WD Action any more as they have left the magazine and started up on their own. Was wondering why the magazine had gone to shit. Now I know why. Wont be renewing my subscription any more after December

Why try start it before removing glow plugs to get oil out of cylinders....talk about destroying the engine... 👍🏻
But the engine runs fine and still runs....
Starters arent that strong they rarely bend rods
Rust prevention at it`s best .
Roothy must be the only person in the world that needs training wheels on his 4wd. Nice going.
Need another catch up with the old boy
Put this issue up on RUclips

+Robert Hendrych
There isn't footage of the roll. He forgot the handbrake and it rolled away, they weren't filming at the time.
1 stupid touch of the phone will land me on this shitty upload wanting me to pay $ to watch a recovery of an old shitbox cruiser
A decade with 4WD monthly and 4WD action and found the best footage of the lot on RUclips. BS 4WD action. Why subscribe? I'm out.
