The double index at the 12 and the text just below really crowd the top half of the dial and it honestly looks like there is more space beneath the pinion than above. That said, I like some of the other colors and this would be a fantastic quartz daily or beater.

I ordered one a little while ago thanks to ur amazing review (the only one for this watch). i hope mine looks as good on my wrist as it did on yours. I went with the og color for this one, the green blue. It should show up any day. i can't wait. I was also looking at their other models, especially this vintage looking chronograph, which they have a few models in there line up.
I really wish one of the Chinese homage makers would be bold enough to remove the crown guards, as per Genta's original design of the SL automatic ref 1832. I've always felt that crown guards on this watch is like putting a bull bar on a Tesla Model S. It's never sat right with me, and I think Genta would be rolling in his grave.
I have one and an Orange dialed version on the way now, they are fantastic value for money and the branding does not concern me one little bit. Great review.
or me ! Its very small text - think some posters are being deliberately finicky imo. Only things I would say; talking of finicky the screw is indeed very slightly off centred on mine but you know what , I'm not bothered as funny enough no one has stopped me on the street and pointed it out whilst hysterically laughing ! I focus on the many positives- jeez it cost me c £58 bucks all in fgs. Also the purple I got is lighter than it looks on photo and this vid for some reason . Its distinctive and decent quality / great value. Total mystery why poster is the only one to feature this watch- good job fella !
Do you have the measurements of the link between the case and the first link, whats the width of it? Would like to see if there are some compatible rubber/leather straps available. The Spect und Sohne one seems to share dimentions with the Nautilius straps
You can buy one for $50 in one of the stores right now during the current sale. Besides the obvious differences of the dial (texture and branding)..... All those tiny difference add up to a really different feel. It's clearly great value for money though.... Terrible branding...
I don’t know.. the Ixdao looks better finished. Brush and polish are finer. The dial colors are more attractive and suitable. And I prefer an automatic movement.
In person, you probably would have a hard time reading the text though! It's tiny... Still not a very attractive scribble (to be fair don't have this one, have the IXDAO... The version without the name...) But just shrinking the picture down to the actual sides of the watch, if you didn't know what it said you probably have a hard time reading it.

Perhaps I'm dumb but I will never buy a watch for this company because the name terrible. I can't imagine walking around with mysterious code written on my watch no thanks. It's a shame to some of their watches look really good

Weird. The crown guards are actually a big part of what makes this design pop so much cor me... I wouldn't like it nearly as well without them.
Great review but the bracelet and dial quality justifies the price difference for me.
I feel the same, i would opt for the ixdao which by this comparison is perhaps slightly over priced but i would go for the higher quality myself too
