💜 RAINBOW RICE PAPER SAILS. 🔸 Dilute food colourings with a small amount of water. 🔸 Dip a sheet of rice paper into a container of water for a few seconds. 🔸 Transfer it onto a silicone mat. 🔸 Color the sails. Overlapping colors create new shades. ✔️ pink + blue = purple ✔️ green + red = brown The more colors, the more interesting the result will be. 🔸 Wrap the paper around florist wire. Create folds. 🔸 Place a tissue roll under the mat to add volume. 🔸 Secure with clothespins or a clamp. 🔸 Leave it for 12 hours to dry completely. Attaching them to skewers is more secure, but melted chocolate can also be used. Drying time depends on the humidity in the room. In low humidity, the sails will dry overnight, while in high humidity, it may take several days. To speed up the process, you can put the sails in an oven heated to 50-70°C for 10-15 minutes. Florist wire thickness is 1.6mm. Wooden skewers or toothpicks can also be used.
