I started doing my own maintenance after a bad experience with the local dealership on my 2021 FK7 Civic. They didn’t replace the crush washer during an oil change, and about a week later, I noticed oil spots where I had parked in various locations. I checked the dipstick, and it was down to the minimum level. When I jacked up the car, I found oil on the passenger-side subframe, oil pan, and floor pan. The dealership claimed the tech just didn’t clean up properly and insisted they hadn’t topped off the oil-though I caught them on dash cam doing exactly that. Your videos are incredibly therapeutic to watch, and I just wish we had techs like you here in Canada!
The truth is you don't need to replace the crush washer at all if it's in good condition. I still have the original crush washer on my 1998 Accord and it never leaks. They either under or over torqued it causing the leak.
Those quarter turn fastners are worthless. Most just fall out on the road. I replaced mine with J nuts & 1\4 20 screws with large washer. Not gonna fall out now!
Huh. So if you change the oil and some basic maintenance you don’t have smoke and oil billowing out the back for a wrecked turboski. Who would have guessed.

Power wash endings are the best 🎉
Yooo love watching ur videos bro right know went to my first Lexus class
I know the accords have head gasket issues. The CRV has the same engine. How often do you see issues with the CRVs and any way to try and combat it?
Most excellent flippy floppy quadrupleness! Had to watch that segment several times.
Congrats on 100k
& happy upcoming holidays ❗️
Cheers from Lithuania
Is the Raz the same as like CRC Brakleen?
what brand of oil is used?
I change my own oil on my Honda 2014 CRV. Should I be using brake clean after every oil change to clean up?
Simbaa
Yes
Only if you made enough of a mess, if not a quick wipe down is more than sufficient.
no u dont have to, but just clean up
What is brake clean? Little raz ’ll do ya.
This car owner must live in that CRV, must drive around the country. Lots of mileage for a 4 year old car.

Damn man, the music is going off
