The manufacturer is selling them a load of crap about how cheap the cost of ownership is. They don't care because the public buys new cars when the repairs get expensive. But yes people are lazy also. This customer got almost 300k I think they took pretty good care of it.
I wouldn’t do a motor on a rusty 09’ pilot. I’d keep it running the best it can and wait for the wheels to fall off. Just fix the misfire, brakes and check oil level frequently and add more when necessary.
