My favorite two parts of this show - and the Angels are my FAVES! - are the solo high speed pass, when the bird is vaping and hovering right on the edge of breaking Mach, and then watching the crowd when the solo screams over head in the ‘sneak pass’ and scares the water out of the unsuspecting. Thanks for another lovely viddy, Dafydd! 🤗🌹
Thank you God Bless you. I can't longer walk, my husband and I never miss it. He has passed. Thank you so very much for taking me there once again. 🌹🙏❤️
Exactly right! I believe many years ago they did it at an airshow, broke all the glass around the area. 700 is max speed they go, supersonic is at 768 on dry air being 68f
I've been going to S.F. Fleetweek since about 1980 when the Blue Angels were flying the A4 Skyhawks. All of the shows and festivities are great. My favorite place to view the air shows, etc. is near the Wave Organ.
Have to say sitting on Alcatraz when they did the surprise fly by on San Fran side heading dead on to Alcatraz and pulling up and thrusting on the edge of Alcatraz rattled the prison cells and the outside experience was epic. Planned my first Alcatraz trip with Fleet Week was epic on Sunday!
Фантастически повезло тем кто может видеть такое сказочное зрелище! Великолепные пилоты ,первоклассный пилотаж и высшее мастерство ! Спасибо вам за ролик! Thank you very much! Беларусь🇧🇾
Your coverage is FAR superior to the actual broadcast. Thank you! Hope they call you next year to operate the official camera. You clearly have the skill to do so!
Got sneak passed directly over head tdy he was probably 150-200 feet above da ground insane @7:14 in the video insane da second solo pilot da came zooming above love em been goin for 15 years
As good as they were, the 💙 Angels will never better the ❤️s. Plus, it's strange seeing two number 7s. At first, I thought it was the one jet doing both the 4 ship and the synchros. Tandem cockpits on both as well! Wonder how much it would cost to get a back seat with them 🤔 😉 🙃 Excellent as always, Sir. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻 🫡
Isn't number 7 the "press plane" that also acts as a spare? Seems like it's in almost every show these days...are there alot of maintenance issues with the Super Hornet? Seems like there's a pair of 7's in this show for 4 and 6...
@@DafyddPhillips I was out there on Sunday and it was the regular 1-6, but looking at your footage I noticed 6 was absent and a lot of the 1-4 footage had 7 instead of 4 as well. Was just a thought!
The scream of a dream: I would love it if the team flew F-35’s - use minimum eight aircraft, dance at hover, spit chaff in sequence, then for finale all eject!! Creativity, thinking outside box. A man can dream can’t he?
It is a show--a show of military strength and prowess meant to warn our enemies we will not tolerate a war on our soil. And I'm pretty sure the many military families and patriots of the deep south would approve.

Love it when it breaks that sound barrier ❤.
If they broke the sound barrier that low to the ground, it would be the last thing you hear 😉

I went today but they had to cancel the show due to weather. I was so sad 😭😭
👌👌♥️
San Francisco's seagulls must have been wondering about the strangely huge and noisy birds that suddenly showed up in their part of the sky.
One of the best recruitment campaigns - who wouldn’t want to be Blue Angel?

Nice. What equipment did you use ?. Camera, lens, gimbal etc. ?.
Thank you! Just a Sony fdr ax53 handheld.
@@DafyddPhillips Thanks.
Hi Daf, great capture. Which lens did you use for this? Thanks!
Thank you, I’m not using a dslr here but my faithful Sony fdr ax53 camcorder.
@@DafyddPhillips Thanks!
Ah typical day on bay area freeways, well except for the upside down part.
Why did I occasionally see 5 planes instead of 4?
No, even 6.
Where did the extras stay the rest of the time?
4 in formation, the other two do solo maneuvers
Was 6 down for maintenance?
Not sure sorry. Possibly using 7 as a camera ship as it’s a twin seater, I could be wrong ?

Actually looking at it I feel crazy but are there 2 "7"s out there?

No, I’m not gonna award you
I can see why they cancelled it last saturday, look how ridiculous close to each other they are!
🤠class 👍
I wonder how much that cost
Maybe they can donate their time to hurricane people when they are not in shows
