Could you maybe have a small construction team in the process of burying one of these cables under the pavement of Brick Nottingham? Would be a cool thing to see but presume you'd need some space under the baseplate level to enable a "trench" to be dug. Would be a cool thing to see!
That could make for a cool table edge detail- or having some built into the one of the cutaway edges of the fair ground- maybe at the far end where it gets closer to the city again?
Only cause I know it'll be a sticking point with you, the flame on the dynamite sign needs turned 180 (or the entire sign) so the flame is blowing in the correct direction as the train is moving through the wind. Also the mosaic art piece is looking cool. I think it'll be awesome to have two more, 1 for the torso and 1 for the legs of Robin and you'll have a full Robin portrait.
I was racking my brain as I couldn't think what it reminded me of and I've remembered. It's from my childhood hood, the yu-gi-oh card character exodia. He was a collection of 5 card pieces put together to create him.
I would submit that the next wagon could be a coffee tanker, perhaps with a pallet of coffee mugs at one end. Because if it's one thing we know it's that minifigs love their coffee.
It might be fun to have a little construction scene near that demolished building close to the train station, with earthworks represented by some sloped green and brown pieces and the workers manhandling one of those pipes into position.
2 lovely colourful wagons there I'd have those if I collected train lego. BTW, I was in the beetles museum on Sunday and thought of you,... Why?,.... Well there was a stairway made entirely of tread plates. Nice shiny steel tread plate!!!!!!! 😍😁😁😁
Brilliant two additional carriages and good use of a subscriber gift. With the dynamite wagon, might the dynamite 🧨 be presented at an angle? That would provide even more of a chaotic look… JJ suggests a Lego 65578 piece?
so I know I've mentioned it before, but in the US, purple is often used for reclaimed water pipes. I love seeing trailers full of them going by, it means someone is serious about water conservation
I've now googled the colour coding. I hadn't appreciated that they were international. I guess someone in Brick Nottingham is conserving water too, haha!
That wire transport is a great idea! I am going to take this and create a little transport truck that does the same (as I don't have trains in my city (save my pride and joy - Monorail!). The Dynamite transport is perfect! Love the 3D Sign!
I think you should put the dynamite sign the opposite direction so that the flame on the igniter cord looks like it's going in the correct direction with wind flow. Cool video Robin!
Nice Robin! Hey, just a quick note In the states purple pipe is used for Underground irrigation and reclaimed waste water. All underground pipe are color coded for use. Thanks again for showing how to make cars!
Idea: there are wellcars which share a bogie on railroads. They come in sets and are long. They can hold shipping containers too. The same design has been done to passenger cars too. LEGO creators have even done them. So you could add a set of wellcars to your freight train
I see. I've had a look on Google and they are low and long, like the Maersk train's ones. Interesting with shared bogies. I'd have to do custom bases I think!
Corrugated pipe wagon looks like an export to the colorful utility department of Heart Lake City. Great designs! Loving how fantastically long the cargo train is becoming
Short and sweet but simple and effective 👍🏻 As per a lot of others have commented turn the stick of dynamite the other way around so the flame is at the rear so it goes with the direction of air flow when moving.
These cars are looking very good! I love how the dynamite carriage is next to the fuel tank, very funny. And also, I really like the name the currnel! Also I am wondering when will you place the supermarket build. Great video!
Hey Robin, Here in America sometimes you may see an airplane fuselage being transported by rail. So I was wondering if you would want to do that. Of course it does not have to be before jumbo jet size, but you could put the fuselage on something like a well wagon.
Bumblebee will forever be a Transforner for me.... (but as VW bug not the modern Camaro)... so glad you aren't going with it. I like the idea of naming it after Col Mustard :). Love the flatbed pipe wagon.
The mosaic looks great on the door. Nice train cars and love the placement of the dynamite car. What would the toxic waste car look like beside the dynamite car?
The 2 new wagons are great additions to snowpiercer. Maybe you could put a burglar using a torch to light up the dynamite? 😊 Always love seeing the city with the trains running 😊👍
Robin I love the two new train cars. Also the name Colonel for the yellow engine is a good idea. I do have a non-train related question; what is the name of your little blue musician that hangs out with Little Robin on the build desk? If he doesn't have one I do have a suggestion, you could call him Alan for Alan Adale from the Disney Robin Hood cartoon. On another note the Robin mosaic looks fabulous on the door. Can't wait til the next video. Have a great week.
Is there a white version of the flame piece? it would stand out better near the orange and red colors while keeping that effect. Maybe one of those medieval pinions or a white flag would work alternatively. I think having the car flipped so the spark is flowing backwards visually would look better. I like having the fuel/oil right next to the t-rex. Maybe instead of The Colonol name it The Cluedo? Either way we could hide one of the Clue murder weapons on it. ;p I think we had a murder mystery on the other train- maybe this engine is where the weapon was hidden- like it had been thrown out the window and landed on the passing train?
Here's an idea for a wagon a flatbed carrying a semi lorry trailer I got the idea from some photos of some common practise that was over in the states where they was attached train wheels to lorry trailers
I wonder if there'd be a way to make the cover of the dynamite wagon shift and rattle on the train in a controlled manner- like the lid shakes side to side or the like. Though that may be a bit too tricky with the small space it allows.
Maybe the whole body could be rocked if it was lifted on one side by a piston driven by the forward motion- though fitting that kind of mechanism into the limited space would be pretty tough I think. If there was enough under carriage clearance for it having the 'piston' type pin just attached to a wheel of some kind that was running across the rail boards might work if it wouldn't have issues with catching on ballast or anything else- that could be an unconventional way to get some motion on something.

So basically each section will be on display for a set amount of time, and then put in storage, then eventually back on the shelf again. I have a similar but different tanker en route. Something to add to the coffee!
The flame on the dynamite wagon should be at the other end so it's nearer to the fuel wagon.
You should flip the dynamite wagon, since the flame looks like being blown by the wind, and then it would be even closer to the octane wagon!
Very happy that you used my wagon looking forward to more train builds
It was a pleasure to receive. Thank you!
Looks great! Really like the dynamite wagon with 3d lighted dynamite.
It might look even better if you move the bows of the pipe wagon 1 stud inside.

I agree with those two. I also like the penguin filled Fish Transport. It looks great and is good fun too!
Tubular dude!! and always a blast 💥 I'm feeling clueless as to which name to go with, so I'll vote for the Colonel 😆

Me too. At least pipe is often bright and Dark People isn't even that bad. Medium Lavender on the other hand... Bleugh!
Finally another train episode! These cars are simple and yet very unique!
Although it's tempting to have 50 tankers, or whatever, like real life, all this variety is far more fun I think!
Maybe reverse the dynamite sign as the "flame" should be going with the wind 😋
Well, it's a rigid sign but I take your point!
Brilliant designs, maybe you could put some cables under the fairground or underground some where else.
Excellent builds! As a train fan these [the train mocs] are my fav videos 😊

The Iron Hornet or Colonel Custard maybe?
