About the John McCabe murder.........I feel so badly for his parents, especially his Mother😢. As a Mother, I know you jus automatically blame yourself for anything that happens to your children. And that “guilt” has never left her over decades. The only thing I could say, is that I would’ve never permitted my son or daughter to hitchhike (or maybe he was just walking) to a party or dance. The couple that picked him up on the way to the dance we’re just being “kind”, right? But something smells funny about that whole story, because the guy who picked him up was one of the ones that killed John!?! They said they “dropped him off at the corner”, thus leading one to believe It must have happened either after the dance or there were “words” between John and someone who did not like him at all, and “took it outside”. (After watching the whole video, I see the boys went to the dance and attacked him, got him in the car, and that was it. So both the “helpful, kind” friends who gave him a ride? Nahhhhh. No good. These boys and girls made a PACT never ever to tell what happened or who did it. That never works, kids! Back in 1969, I was 14, and I remember that very few people thought it was unsafe to get in a car with someone who offered you a ride. I used to walk about 3 miles to the shopping center, our group’s little hang-out. And I did take rides, but only from someone I knew. That doesn’t work anymore, either. And teens, listen! It’s not worth hurting someone over a girl who won’t be in your life at all in about 6 months to a year! Teenagers (especially girls) are fickle. Don’t forget it. It’s not worth anyone’s life! Not yours, ending up in prison forever, or the accused, killed so early for a little flirtation. A very sad story.......I don’t know if his parents are still alive, but I will be praying for this poor family, in Jesus’s Name, Amen. 🕊🙏♥️✝️🙋♀️💕💜🕎🌹

I am in awe of John's mother. She went through so much including the death of her husband where it seems he was possibly holding on as long as to see justice and when there wasn't they were both devastated.
My mother's murderer was sentenced to 28 years for killing her and my unborn brother. She was 7 months pregnant. He was supposed to get out last year. He died of TB 2 years before his release. And honestly I lived in fear he would come after me and my sister until then.
I'm so sorry to hear your loss.
That's why hanging is the supreme sentence.
My heart hurts for you. That is just tragic.
Wow. Glad that fear/concern died with him. No one deserved to hold that kind of power over anyone.
@@RichardWagner-hi4znUnfortunately Americans are into releasing criminals early + not having them punished much
So many heartbreaking stories....I can't imagine anything worse than losing a child to violence....RIP to all the victims.
I'm afraid what I'd do, watching these videos I get so mad at these killers and the injustice of it all. That if someone hurt my daughter or grandchildren 😢
26 years is huge in New Zealand but we all know he should have got life in jail in America, so sad
Johns mother saying she kept Johns money and she will give it to him when she sees him again is one of the most painful thing I heard
I’m so very sorry for your terrible loss. 💔 Life just isn’t fair and you have my condolences for your family. I’m so very sorry.🙏
This is an Excellent show, and I've watched for years.
What a SHAME!!!! THIS MURDERER OF NOT 1 BUT 2 HUMAN BEINGS, gets less time than a person who gets caught for drugs??????!!!!! My goodness 😡 the system is completely corrupted! So sorry for her family, her mother... so so sad!
You couldn’t be more right! He specifically killed a women because of the baby inside her…he willingly and purposefully wanted BOTH dead, he should, at the very least, get twice the time!
Investigators really did a great job gathering all the evidence on this one!

The McCabe's seem like such lovely salt of the earth people. So very very sad for their family for the loss of John. My condolences even at this late date for their loss of John. His mother seems so sweet. His father, heartbroken and forever changed after having to ID his son. God bless the family that is left...

Cassandra's mom just broke my heart 😢
Cassandra’s story is very heartbreaking. Such a sweetheart. He’s someone I wouldn’t want to see twice evil written all over his face. May his last breath be in prison.
That poor Dad! You can never shake it! I imagine you can't get it out of your mind! That's torture to the family! 😔
Sending love to the families. I wish more people would watch these shows so they understand they will get caught! Maybe that would prevent some murders idk
18 years of child support is much better a deal than a 26 years in prison...😮
She didn't even want that. She told him she wouldn't name him as the father, and would just put "unknown" on the birth certificate. She was employed, renting a house, and didn't need him. He was free as a bird.

@@CertifiedAgitatorshe didn’t force him to be a dad. Dude made it clear he didn’t want children but obviously didn’t take steps to prevent that from occurring. He was in his 30’s and dang sure knew how babies are made yet he didn’t wear a condom, or better yet, get a vasectomy. 🙄🤷🏻♀️

I found myself yelling at these prosecutors for making a plea deal. They. Had. The. BODY!! Yellow bellies.
Me too!
How much evidence do they need, a video of him murdering her😢
John's parent's grief is heartbreaking. That happened 1 town over from me RIP John. I can't even comment about Kassandra's case except to say that was disgusting. RIP Kassandra and your unborn baby.
I just watched another story yesterday of a guy broke into 2 rooms and rubbed women's feet, and he got life in prison, but they allow these murderers off with light sentences. It's sickening
“15 years, 6 months, and 2 weeks” old . . .
What a family, full of love and life and talking of their John. 💔❤️🥀
😢😢😢
God bless you all
"The next time I see him, I'll give it to him" 😢 What a different world it would be if everyone had such loving parents as John
This dude is so guilty they dont need to even have a court case.
Sending love the family!❤
My favorite show intro. ❤
Most people are way too trusting of others. Especially knowing that Colin had stated he didn't want to have kids ever. Why oh why would you reveal that information to him 🤐
2 trusting. 2 much bad in world. never trust
Plus if he was so calm that would have been a red flag
Poor sweet man. You can feel his 💔
You know it’s bad…REALLY BAD, when the detective on a missing case says, “We don’t even have a body. We’re still hoping she’s tied up in basement.”
The father dying 4 days later broke my heart. 😢
Colin got 26 years for killing Cassandra and her unborn child? That's a crime
He killed 2 people!!!! 26yrs???
Only 26 years? That was unjustified for Cassandra’s family. Would the prosecutors quickly accept that plea deal if it was one of theirs? Unbelievable.
Both of these stories broke my heart.
The second story was painful. 😢
Tacoma where I live and heartbroken to hear this news rip Casandra

Its amazing how many women get murdered by the fetus's father who dont want a kid.
And it's worse when, in this case, she wanted nothing from him, didn't plan to name him as the father, and he was free as a bird.

20 years for murdering someone just doesn’t seem like justice… Plea deals are a kick in the face to the victims and society
I'm so sorry for you're loss mama this is very sad. Our justice system is terrible
Finally, a documentary that does justice to the true crime genre. Definitely one of the best I've seen.
All that, chaos and pain because he didn’t want to be a father. Like an animal. Disgusting.
Animals do better than that
He killed two people. He should have got 26 years doubled.
70*2=140 years
Cassandra would've made a wonderful mom....sad, that monster took her before that happened grrr 😣🤬🤬🤬 plea deals are a joke that a victim's family does not need...sheesh 🙄😡
