Part of why GOT was good was because it was kind of new, but like all sequels it becomes a bit dull. (I know GOY isn’t technically a sequel but more of a prequel)
@SteadyFreak yotei takes place 300 years after tsushima. Definitely not a prequel. Not a sequel but the plan is to make these games an anthology through different time periods of japan.
Unironcly Ghost of tsushima is almost a perfect game, except for small things like the tedios open world activities and repetitive mission desighn, but everything else is great, the combat is near perfect, the stealth is basic but combining it with conbat was fun, the open world is gorgeous, and so is visuals, and dont get me started on the story, it was incredible.
Yeah like if it had a couple of micro transactions nothing hectic and made it that your a lezbo fighting for respect for the gays. Ign would of given it 10/10

There's not many games that I am constantly saying to myself " Wow, I really love this game" It's truly one that I will never forget. Such an amazing story, gameplay and all around perfection. Don't forget Ghost had to run on Playstation 4 which was out dated and old hardware ( same for XO ) yet somehow Sucker Punch managed to make Ghost Of Tsushima stunning its a beautiful game even on a standard PS-4 . I replayed Ghost of Tsushima The Director Cut on PS-5 of course it was noticeabley smoother and nicer too look at .
Im okay with Jin Sakai's story being over, especially if Atsu sees him again through a storyteller/legends mode and possibly she finds out how to get his armor and is able to wear it- specifically Kasumasas armor with the deer antlers
Having jin again would be lame because then they'd do the stereotypical *character has amnesia and forgets all his skills so that there's abilities to unlock again* Now if it were like god of war where you keep those old abilities I think that could work.
I started replaying it now i have a pc. With a 4080 Super and all setttings maxed out, it looks absolutely amazing. I also didnt even know about the Iki island dlc until I came across it while playing. It's a fantastic game.
I love Ghost to absolute death, but it does have issues for me. -Open world exploration is a mixed bag like the 1000 fox shrines -It doesn't really feel like Feudal Japan -I wish there was a heavier emphasis on parrying like combos -The story is a trope I've seen done so many times -Only one weapon -World doesn't feel very alive, and even the towns themselves are kind of barren
This is in my list of five (mahbe ten?) GOATs. It isn’t flashy, but it has such a strong sense of style. Like any masterpiece, it is the entirety of this game that makes it so good: cinematic storytelling, beautiful soundscape and music, character depth, gameplay depth, Legends (multiplayer) and replayability. Not to mention the DLC…*chefs kiss*
My masterpiece. Tied with bloodborne for my Favorite game ever. & the legends mode was the most fun id had in a multi-player since halo 3. Sequel will cook without a doubt. 🍳 🍖 🥓

@@Pizza21002 its the one game I don't second guess about fast traveling. Even on PC with an SSD. Black screen literally 1-2 seconds and Im there. I don't even notice LODs loading in, like some other fast loading games do. The optimization the team has done is insane. I remember the dude that programed the GRASS explaining on the GDC how they manage to lower memory usage while still making it look good. There some serious talent in there

A Common misconception is that Jin was shown in the promotional material with this Level 3 Ghost armor. But it's actually most of the time the Level 2 Ghost Skin. Which i myself prefer anyway.

Is the story going to be as good as the first where you can feel the struggle he has internally. I would of like more Jin content but excited to play as a female. I hope they keep thing authentic as can while making a great game.

It has serious issues regarding leashing and cruise missile attacks from enemies. It is not fair at all to a point of intentionally cheating. Enemies sliding and jumping 20m and more hitting you. Just bullshit.
I would like to correct that you aren’t really faced with that choice throughout the game. Sure, gameplay wise you may be given that choice but the story pulls you to be the ghost no matter what your play style is.
I love they are doing an anthology. Jin’s story was over and shoehorning more story would have hurt the story that was already told. My ending was letting the uncle live as well. The only real knock I have on this game is the length. They could have had less stuff to find and side quests but it’s not like I hated it or anything. Also I love complaints from people who say the fighting isn’t good. I noticed these people always play on easier level. This game must be played on the highest level. People also have to remember this is not a fighting game, it has be accessible for everyone. It’s also a story telling game not an aggravation simulator like the souls games. Honestly the combat is about as good as it gets for a game in this genre.
100%. Ghost/ronin armor and charms are the extra easy mode so pretty much anyone can play and have fun. No/cursed charms with the fundoshi on lethal for the fromsoft enjoyers. It’s my 2nd favorite game of all time. Not perfect but I’ll still call it a masterpiece.
The game is really amazing. But could have a harder mode. Lethal is not really lethal when you get some amount of resolve and large health bar. Enemies with wider variety of attacks would be better also diferents moves because the strategy to kill enemies gets a bit repetitive…

They shouldn’t have made a sequel. They should have made it take place in medieval Eastern Europe and make it less stealth based. Evolve and expand the combat gameplay to make it more exciting and have better repay value instead of too easy unrealistic stealth trying to make it like assassins creed.

i played ghost of tsushima in its entirety and didn’t come across iki island until my 2nd play through genuinely a truly generational game

I personally found using the water stance works on most enemies once it's got the triangle combo

Wind stance is op one kick then a single stab instant death
You don't need any stance if you can do pefect parry and dodge, but it is fun to change between them and more immersive.

Depends. If you've played through it before it doesn't really matter but the dlc is harder than the base game so I would recommend playing it last.
