      Video coming soon! It took me a lot longer to get everything raked so I didn’t get as much footage as I wanted

    Paul, awesome footage and congratulations on your beautiful property. In reference to the difficulty hooking up the mower, the BEFCO BSB-007 you own is equipped with a little bracket mounted below the safety release bracket. Before unhooking the mower next time, turn the bracket up and it will help keep the lower lift pins level with each other. Remember to flip the bracket down before you start mowing. BEFCO will happily email you a manual for your unit in case you need one.

      Awesome thanks for the info! Also i will change my model # on my description and tiitle as the mowers decals are faded off and i was just using the current model. The manual would be great, i would appreciate that very much. You can E-mail me at williamsonridgeoutdoors@yahoo.com. Thanks again!

    Hey great video . We used a old sickel bar mower for hay when I was back in my farm boy days . Nice to see some of the improvements made since then .

      Yeah it’s pretty cool how they can take an old design and make a few improvements and keep it current, this thing will mow at 9mph.

    When I was a kid we had a mower very similar to that. We ran it on dads Ferguson 30. We used the same tractor to rake with. We baled with an old new Holland baler and a Ford 800. I kind a miss it, but mostly don't. Have a good one.

    What gear are you mowing in for the most part? Also did you have to replace a rear tire recently? I ran over a railroad spike yesterday with my front tire. Good video wish I had a drone for haying videos.

      On the top of the field I run 2nd high range as I get to the sideways stuff I run 1st high. Yeah I hit a fence post and cut about an 8 inch gash in the sidewall of a rear tire, video coming on that soon.

      Williamson Ridge Outdoors that is great. I dont know what kind of camera you use, but if it is anything like a gopro then you could buy a head strap for it for real cheap.

    Just saw this video and subd. I had a superior sickle that was junk. Couldn't keep it together. Any updates on how well the befco stays together?

      Thanks! It’s actually a buddy of mines mower and he got it used about 10years ago, he doesn’t use it a lot only to mow sides of road and creek banks, I’ve used it the last 4 years to mow our 12acres of hayfield usually 2 or three times a year, and do some odd and end trimming. I haven’t had anything break on the machine other than a hydraulic line which was my fault, I pinched it when I raised the sickle up, just had it routed wrong, and the occasional tooth replacement.

      @@WilliamsonRidge where do you buy spare knives and guards?

    • @WilliamsonRidge
      @WilliamsonRidge  4 года назад

      Haven’t had to buy any yet my friend had some extra teeth already and I’ve changed 3 or 4. But nothing else. It looks like Messick’s .com has all the parts for it though. Probably where I’ll order from when I need parts
