I really love the idea to put HUD as standard and minimize the front dash screen onto the steering wheel.
The design language of this SUV is quite impressive, the way it presents itself very elegantly is almost a better looking alternative to the latest gen Range Rover and way cheaper as well. Simply impressive. Looks very nice in the black color.
You just copy the Mercedes Benz GLS. There is no "design language" to speak of

My car is a Range Rover, 4 years old. I'm now going to sell it to buy an L9. With the rest of the money I can buy a Model 3.
As to the design, you should ask Bertone or Giugiaro or myself. They all look terrible. Why? I wonder.

That electric purple Li L9 at near the end of the video is to die for! Imagine rolling down the street in something so attractive, with all the bells and whistles inside, too!

The more luxury-orientated Chinese cars look super impressive. They need to be braver and export them to the world instead of just the entry level brands. The tech in these outshines the competition.
The pre-order number of ideal L9 far exceeds expectations, and even domestic orders in China cannot be produced in time, so it is unlikely to be exported in the near future.
Chinese people have a habit of collecting super/luxury car everytime there is a new car available. So it's very difficult for those Chinese luxury car to be exported when its domestic demand can't be fullfilled on time because of the above reason when every higher class Chinese competing to own every new luxury car.
The US has a habit of sanctioning successful Chinese companies for "national security" reasons. So it's best Chinese EV companies stay away from the US.
This is one impressive vehicle!! I would easily take this over a Rolls Royce. Love the green lights for the self parking.

AW COME ON, WE NEEEEED THIS IN EUROPE. The ultimate family hauler for all those weekend trips and experiences, this isn't a means of transportation, this is a family member. The fact that it has both petrol and battery power gives so much flexibility in trip planning. Please Li, get this to Europe 😁
Sadly, Li Xiang, the CEO of Li Auto, said it will not be exported overseas officialy until 2026 after it dominates in domestic market.

I'm not sure what influence they are looking to generate here, but they can if they are willing to spend the money.

Without the badge, i might think this is a new full size suv by Volvo. Very clean and sleek design. I like this more than the X7 and the GLS, hell i'd pick this over the 2023 Range Rover.

This was bonkers, and since im living in the EV country Norway its very interesting to see what will be sold here in the future. And in a town with around 13000 people Tesla is common, 3 Hongqi E-HS9 and MG's.
How's the E-HS9 selling in Norway? I live in China and I've only seen it once out on the road.
@@louiszhou5301 It has sold over 1000 and was in jaunuary 19 most sold... I live in city with 13000 and there are as I seen 3 driving around here. We have almost none taxes and things on EV and out of 20 most sold only one is not EV, Toyota RAV4 Hybrid.
I have order a gray Li L9 with white interior, it will probably be delivered to me in October.

Impressive vehicle. Not sure about the massive TV screen as the infotainment and gauge cluster, lol. But nice nonetheless. On a side note, your Mandarin sounds on point.
TV screen is not the gauge cluster, it’s for entertainment and functionalities only. The gauge cluster is the small touch screen on the steering wheel and the big HUD up front.
Man this is something we want here in the US, come on big three!
The interior is insane and the space is amazing. I really want to buy this but China is not yet exporting it I think.

I'm really impressed by the fact that the voice recognition system has no problem understanding you speaking mandarin with rather strong accent.😄 I wonder how XPeng and NIO are doing compared to Li in this regard.
I don’t think his accent is “strong” by any means. Besides the “xué” sound most foreigners struggle with quite often, the rest of the characters are pronounced pretty well.
NIO already launch ES7 but yes... Li L9 more interesting

Human beings are very adaptive, I can understand him speaking mandarrin all right, but it's amazing to see the machine understood him as well, maybe it has been trained with lots of foerigners.

It's beaaaauuuuuutiful! Beeeeeeter thaaaaan BMW/MB GLS by Faaaaaaaaaar! I'd trade my new bmx x5 for this awesome spacious, etc 6 seater iiiiiiiiiimediately once/if/hopefully it lands on Euro/US shores. It $6000 cheaper than the x5/x7/GLS and with best all options bmw and MB would sell for over $5000.

Wow! A family friend bought a Li One. I'm still waiting for his invitation for a test drive. Now I am not that excited anymore. The L9 is like something from an SUV driver's wet dreams. What is the Western alternative? With lots of irony, is China the only country to come up with such vehicles at this price range?
The only three row that comes to mind from the West is the Rivian T1S, but it currently dosen’t have this level of self driving autonomy this has and is more focused on on/off-road performance than luxury features?

the problem with lixiang is that their extender petrol engine is always working in a certain rev range / a working cycle specifically designed to max out efficacy, which causes water to infuse into the engine oil at a faster rate.
Im not sure why this happens or the technical details of the increased emulsification rate, but if you buy a Li product you wanna make sure to change the engine oil more often than you do a regular car. This has been a consumer reported problem of this brand.
Hopefully by the time they come to international market this will have been resolved. I have my doubts since the technical problem is inherent to their engine's working cycle

Love the car wish they would keep all the same interior and exterior features but make it smaller (5passenger) and cheaper ($30k to 35k ) and allowed it to be sold in usa
