Finally some carburator videos that i understand. You missed your calling as a teacher. Your videos are so easy to visually understand especially your video on the 2100 choke adjustments. Thank you.

This is the most complete and comprehensive explanation of the workings of the 2100/50.
I really apreciate you sharing your knowledge with us. This is worth more than gold to me.

Thank you so much, maybe I can tune mine now that I know how all the circuits work in conjunction with the vacuum. Very well explained I hope I can find the video of you tuning one!

My autolite 2100 does not have that little metal fitting that sits around that brass inlet valve(where the float needle sits in). I think it is referred to as the needle seat baffle. Is that needed? Also how important is the plastic choke rod seal? seemed useless to me.

The plastic choke rod seal kept out any unfiltered air from entering.

Idle mix screws should be set at 1 1/2 turns from seated. The float level and fast idle speed settings are specific to each application and should be listed in the sheet that comes with the carb rebuild kit. If not you will have to go to the library and consult a Motors or Chilton book. 😮
