Is that an rc10 with the gold pan chassis? Asking cause it looks to have better front end grip than the others. Wondering if it had more weight up front
@@KaiCityRC thanks for confirming that. What I meant was I wonder if that gold pan chassis is heavier than the other cars. I remember it looked quite beefy. In a field of all rear motored cars in a high bite indoor track, a little more weight from the chassis itself would move the weight balance forward, and theoretically be more suited.
I can't comment on the weight of the RC10, but I'd imagine it was on the heavy side. My S1 RM benefits from being able to put the battery in a forward position for better weight balance, but with the regulation front pin spike tires it's easy to have too much front end grip. Indeed, the owner of the RC10 had cut the pins down on the front tires for less grip.
Enjoyed that. Thanks for covering the event.
Thanks for watching! 😊
Lots of beautiful cars 👍🤝
Thank you 👍
You caught some really cool shots in there! Always fun watching these races and it is kind of cool the old school RC10 took the win!
Thanks! 👍
Which motor was used ?
Race regulations are 540 silver can or Tamiya GT Tuned.
@@KaiCityRC Thank you for the information…

It's a gold pan. I don't recall seeing any weights or anything up front. It drove very well, despite its age.

go RC10!
Yes! The RC10 went on to win the A Main, not only beating out my PR Racing S1 RM, but Genovas, Dirt Masters, BBXs, TRF201s...😁👏
Let the chos begin. 😂
Never a dull moment racing at Carnosa RC Park! 😁
