Being in a relationship is wonderful and time consuming! I’m really grateful I had a season of singleness to have the time to get involved in my church, strengthen my relationship with God, and work on my friendships too 💕.
All the single RUclipsrs that are happy with singleness end up finding their spouse because thousands of people end up watching them and inevitably they meet "the one", and the rest is history!

One thing I do not seem to find is this: Why is it that everyone assumes that God has a mate/spouse waiting for them. What if God's plan for someone is to remain and grow old single? Is this an abnormal thought (or situation)? Arent'there any instances where individuals are not meant to be in a couple and pursue the traditional need to be married? Why does this scenario seem to inspire pity and the need from others who are well intentioned to reassure someone?
Exactly. Its like theyre sugarcoating and in denial but its reality sometimes. You think God written a partner for you but sometimes youre just mean to be single. Not alot of people talked about when it comes to this stuff. They always danced around it.

I’m old now...game over! I use to believe he would give the desires of my heart....grew old and still single. I knew christian women and men who believed God had a mate for them, although, completely satisfied in Christ, passed on to heaven. God is Sovereign.
Same! When I was in my teens no guys even looked at me. At 18 I got my first boyfriend, the worse 4 years of my life. I had no interest in dating for years. Then I met Mike, but we just stayed friends and he eventually marry someone else. I put work into dating and it was 1 disaster after the next. I was advised to enjoy my life and being single, stop looking and God will bring my husband and father of my children to me. I’ll be 45 this years, I have been single for over 10 years, no kids, no husband, no prospects. If I would have known this back then, I would have had more fun because doing the right thing left me with Zero. And all the crappy ppl have mates, kids and stories to tell.
@@Lakishia Well if that's what God chose me for.. why not just keep me in the spirit realm and not torture me with this earthly existence where he knows I would crave to have a family. At this point, this is just a cruel and unusual punishment.

I prayed to God when I was 14 for the next person I was to be with to be my husband and I was willing to wait...I put all my effort into school, work etc from 14 and now I'm 35 and still waiting. I've seen everyone around me find someone and get married and I'm just waiting a never ending wait.. been given promises like a dream God gave me of me with someone in the future..that dream was probably 10 years ago or more. I feel like I put my trust in God and have been let down tbh. I didn't know it would be God's plan for me to be single at this old age of 35. I thought He would bring me my husband by 25 and I waited faithfully and expectantly from 14 to 25. Now another 10 years later and nothing.
How can he be so cruel where he won't let us experience love.. the purest & most beautiful bond of a wife and husband. We waited on his word faithfully. So i guess women do it right where they marry the man who is rich and convenient. They marry cos of his reputation and not cos his spirit connected with her through God. They find the most best & convenient option instead of waiting on a God sent holy, destined man. Are we really that stupid waiting on God's will or a fantasy?? wasting our youth away?
I believe God has called me to be a celibate man. Like Apostle Paul. To be honest I wasnt happy about it, but God told me He knew I wasn't happy about it. But God told me He has called me to the Kingdom. The scriptures say this. Only let each person lead the life that the Lord has assigned to him, and to which God has called him. This is my rule in all the churches." 1 Corinthians 7:17 But I want you to be without care. He who is unmarried cares for the things of the Lord-how he may please the Lord. 1 Corinthians 7:32
Yeah like no matter how much you love to think that God is saving you a man or woman because you have been single for so long. Honestly, the brutal truth is that you are just meant to be single. I have seen so many religious people who just ended up alone till death. It sucks but it just the way it is. And that’s where I don’t notice people talked about when it comes to this topic. It’s like people sugarcoating by saying it’s only a season or a chapter which yes it may be for some people. But It is possible that it isn’t. Not alot of people talked about the latter. I thought I was the only one that think the same as me .... im basing thing off reality , because if you notice it's always alot of single women in the church and ill never forget one day standing up in front of the church asking the pastor if im doing as the pastor say and doing right by God, where is my husband ? && the pastor could not answer her question ...

Or if they could afford to adopt. Same thing. I think its cruel to not be straightforward about this because what you want which is marriage or children sometimes is just not meant for you. This is true I believe this for myself - I think of it like this the Levites were devoted for God - God chooses people to devote themselves to Him / No one was ever able to connect with me and vice versa because I am God's first born (in a sense) - live your Life according to your calling
I'm 41 and male. Been single all my life and it's awful. Prayed for 10 years for a wife and nothing! Tried asking women but they're too busy or have a partner. Tried online dating but it's full of scammers and chat bots. Starting to give up.
Some folks didn't meet their partner until even later. You genuinely don't know, but I have confidence you'll find her. For what it's worth, we'll all be single in eternity. Anything you're suffering right now, while it doesn't feel worthwhile and is very horrible, at least it'll be worth your pain. Just my two cents.
Yes he does after years of pain and trauma and celibacy and being with commited partners that destroyed me and humiliated me I believe now with every ounce in my soul that god wants us to be celibate and alone and serve him ! At least for me anyway ! To many times I have prayed and tried to wait for a good man and that good man always ends in heartbreak! So I believe I’m meant to be alone at least serve him and be celibate for life 🙏🏽and that is fine he is saving me from pain
It's sad sometimes I question god I have been single for 12 years I have seen all my ex boyfriend's be with someone else straight after me and have children with them I've just sit and wonder why that is I also got a dream God said to me and it woke me up straight I'm going to send you someone better then my ex which was a relationship that broke my heart that was 12 years ago and I'm still waiting at 42 years old I really wonder about this waiting on god because it is quite frustrating I mean how patient do you have to be and I can't stand when people say the right person will come along when you're not looking well I haven't been looking and I don't Chase but the right person has still not come along

Wether god wants you to be single or not depends on the person. Listen here. God chooses wether we meet the one based on two things: our relationship with him and our personal desire. If we want to be single, there is a huge chance we will remain that way. BUT ALSO!: if we will praise the lord better in singleness, he will isolate us from that type of connection. The last thing to take account of is that the lord may be isolated you from others because you are growing spiritually so that you can meet the one. He doesn’t want you to have any distractions rn. This time is the time for you to grow your relationship with him. Not so that you will meet the one, but because you want to become like god. Why do you hate being single? I have been single all my life, and I am content in Christ. But I have a lot of friends, both married and single, so I am definitely not lonely. I learned that I was abused as a child, so I really never could have established a healthy relationship. Ok so I don't have sex, but I still live a full life. I have a daughter spiritually. I led an orphaned girl to faith in Jesus Christ. She calls me her spiritual father! To say the absence of a human partner means God is cruel is crazy!

Good video. I think very few people are called to be single for their entire lives. I think you have a desire for marriage you will be one day. Another thing is there is more than one person for everyone you just have to choose someone you can spend the rest of your life with and glorify God with :). There is no "perfect" person but make sure they fit your must haves. Like being a christian, no addictions, loyal, treats family and friends well, etc.
I agree! I think most of us have a desire to get married and God knows that life on earth would be too hard for us otherwise lol, so He gives us the freedom to choose that person. As long as you choose wisely and those criteria are met, then they're the "right person" for you.

I don't desire to live out the rest of my days alone. Why would God want that for me when I don't desire that? I've been patient but it's becoming more difficult as I get older. I don't know what else to do. I've done everything but nothing works. Any advice anyone?
You have to get to the place where you can say to God you know my desire for marriage. But if singleness would be better for me then I surrender this desire to you and please make me accepting of staying single!
Maybe some of us yes, but that’s for you to discern for yourself by prayer and supplication to God and to decipher the signs, know his voice when an answer comes concerning this topic. Putting yourself in servitude to his will places you in favorable conditions to find a Godly spouse, or rather he finds you as the word specifies. Get involved in the workings of the kingdom,volunteer, teach kingdom principles to other singles in your church,get involved in the missions field for other countries, teach a Sunday school class, a music class,social activities, that your church offers,Lastly, it will definitely be harder to find a spouse if most of the mental, spiritual focus is on that ALL THE TIME, it’s idolizing & exalting it over putting God first, therefore in doing so we block our own blessings.
NO WAY would I miss being single. 32 never had a relationship.. just sick of it. It's not a season it's a whole year. God better hurry up.. because I'm at the end of my rope. Sometimes wonder what is even the point of anything. Just put me out of my misery already.

I rather be dead instead being single. Cuz I’m just so beyond sick and tired of being single and getting rejected and hurt or led by women. I’ve been single my whole life. Been waiting for a marriage for over 30 f’n years!! 😠. And God just continues to constantly ignore my prayer’s asking for a freekin wife. And I have to be insulated by happy couples every day. I don’t agree with saying singleness is a season. It’s giving fake hopes. There’s not verse in the Bible where God promises us a spouse. He said it’s not good to be alone but I think He meant to lean on your church. Personally I think a more realistic approach to be single can found for instance in Joy Beth Smith’s book “Party for one”
Most of the prophet in our time like bushiri, Uebert Angel, Alph lukau and the lists Goes on that god uses to do wonders are married. Im yet to see any single phophet that God used mightyly. So im trying to figure out if God dont use single Christians 😢. But even if marriage help to live holy lives how to find the right partner thats the real issue. Its always good to find a true prophet to guide our destinies.

Not too long ago I was in line at a store and an older lady started talking to me and the question came up if I was single…. I said yes and she was asking me why and then proceeded to fill me in on how she got divorced but not long after she just prayed for what she wanted one day and God just gave it to her….I wanted the ground to open up and take me away…. I feel like I’ve been forgotten….
But isnt it a contradiction? Why does god put the desire in your heart? Why does the bible says: Ask and you shall receive and so on? Its contradicting? Im confused.
I hate God. I hate how God created me the way that I am. I hate how he formed my life. My body. I hate God for making me single FOREVER. They say God's plans are good, but to me they're just the opposite. Like, WAAYY FAR BEHIND FROM "good"

I rather be dead instead being single. Cuz I’m just so beyond sick and tired of being single and getting rejected and hurt or led by women. I’ve been single my whole life. Been waiting for a marriage for over 30 f’n years!! 😠. And God just continues to constantly ignore my prayer’s asking for a freekin wife. And I have to be insulated by happy couples every day. I don’t agree with saying singleness is a season. It’s giving fake hopes. There’s not verse in the Bible where God promises us a spouse. He said it’s not good to be alone but I think He meant to lean on your church. Personally I think a more realistic approach to be single can found for instance in Joy Beth Smith’s book “Party for one”

Most of the prophet in our time like bushiri, Uebert Angel, Alph lukau and the lists Goes on that god uses to do wonders are married. Im yet to see any single phophet that God used mightyly. So im trying to figure out if God dont use single Christians 😢. But even if marriage help to live holy lives how to find the right partner thats the real issue. Its always good to find a true prophet to guide our destinies.

Not too long ago I was in line at a store and an older lady started talking to me and the question came up if I was single…. I said yes and she was asking me why and then proceeded to fill me in on how she got divorced but not long after she just prayed for what she wanted one day and God just gave it to her….I wanted the ground to open up and take me away…. I feel like I’ve been forgotten….
