These young women who are single for a few years and then get married can easily tell you that embrace your singleness and how they were so content single and suddenly their husband showed up. Try telling that to people who have waited 25 years in unwanted singleness!

I haven’t been enjoying my singleness at all because I’ve been single my entire life. It was frustrating, but now I’m trying to enjoy it because once I get married, I’ll never get it back. I just started taking care of my body and health so I want to take care of myself spiritually too. Recently, I’ve been wanting to work on operating in the fruits of the Holy Spirit

Did you find a husband yet?
I'm already 37 and still single. Sometimes I'm afraid realize that am still single at this age but what can I do. It's not the thing like I can choose any candy so easy. And for now, the hardest thing is I lost my job. But I told my self Everytime am down, am I only going to be happy and praise God if my life is going as I plan and hope? Ofcourse not. This encouraged me to so much Nat, you have no idea. I wouldn't want to get ahead of myself and ruin God's plan for me because I suddenly became inpatient. His plan is pleasing and perfect. All I have to do is enjoy life as a woman of worth and woman of God❤
i started thinking to unfollow or probably not scroll social media, bcoz it is easily trigerfor certain things that lead me to think that i am having not enough.
Why are all these videos regarding embracing and dealing with the pain of singleness presented by married people? It's easy for them to give all this "advice" -- they are not hurting like single people are. They can go on and on about how yes, they were single once, they understand ... but they don't. We are still lonely & wondering if we will ever find someone.; they are not.
I love this. I wasted so many years being discontented and I can't get them back. I am 61 and still unmarried, but I'm getting better.

22, never been that girl who dreamed about getting married/had crushes on guys. It's just recent that I realized I do want to get married but since I live in Switzerland and there's not a lot of Christian guys out here. I feel like all I can do is pray and maybe one day my husband will pop out 😂 it really is hard to enjoy singleness when my cousins/friends are all getting into relationships

It's been a multi year journey for me. I was in a relationship for 7 years and it ended very traumatically. And I've taken about 3 years of healing as a single person. One thing I found helped me was I started going to exercise everyday and not bringing my phone. Just a dedicated chunk of time for just me. Now I've considered getting back into dating and finding a special someone, but I've noticed the damage is still there to that capacity making me wary about it. Baby steps! Love the positivity of your channel! I clicked subscribe last night!

This is the best singleness advice I have heard on youtube !
"The unmarried man (or woman) is concerned about the affairs of the Lord, how they may please the Lord."
Being content while single can be hard knowing that God cares for you and that his timing is perfect when your time comes when you meet your husband / wife will be on time it’s ok to have those desires and everyday you bring them to God and say this is how I feel these are my longings it’s between you and God he understands he cares for you and you will find yourself growing in your relationship with God .

Can we have advice for women that are actually not going to get married. As in, not those that just think they aren't, but ones who aren't, because again, a lot of these videos always say it like it's a given that women are going to find a man or even worse "God will send you a husband when it's right" 😒 No he won't, he doesn't 'give' you things. It's not a season for everyone, it's only the lucky ones who get married and respectfully it's a lot easier to say when you have a husband. We know you were single but the keyword is *were. It's not the same.
Oh and please not advice that's just 'God completes you'. Like more than that. We know that. How do we actually contemplate a life alone. It's not easy. Having non specific 'goals' doesn't make it any easier. It will just make us more busy. That's got nothing to do with God
Hey it's not the luckily ones that get married it's the ones who God has a specific purpose for them and their spouse and to bring enjoy and pleasure. God has a purpose in marriage and parenthood. God can give a person their spouse when the time is right when they are both ready and mature. Some people are not called to be married it's good to seek God and ask him if it's he's will for you to get married and if he says yes trust that it will happen in HIS timing. God has a purpose for us while we are single that we can only accomplish during this season. There are many advantages when you are single and God can use you a lot. Marriage should not be an idol. God also has purpose for couples in marriage. God can use them together or separately in different ways to complete his will. I believe that if we have a strong desire for marriage than God placed it there because it will happen and those who don't have that strong desire may not be called for marriage. That's why it's good to seek God about it.
I recommend watching the series and reading the book "Relationship Goals" and "Relationship goals reloaded" by Michael Todd. These series really helped me and changed my perspective on singleness and relationships. I also love listening to Allyson Rowe videos on singleness and dating. Rich Wilkerson jr. also has some good sermons on it too. Praying for you💗 I also recommend drawing close to God really seeking him, allowing him to heal you from hurt and pain in your life, and learning to love yourself and getting to know who you are in Christ and his purpose for your life. Learn why he created you and what your called to do. There's something specific on this earth that you are called to accomplish that no one else can. Whether this purpose and journey is alone or with a partner. Know that God loves you and is longing to get to know you and spend more time with you. He speaks, leads, and show things to come. He gives things in accordance to his will. I also love listening to Myles Munroe he has good videos on singleness, dating/marriage, purpose, and vision.
Read up on single blessedness. My quick answer to this is that you need to find a purpose that gives a strong meaning in your life and a close community where you can fulfill that purpose.

This from a dude's perspective. I am not a good looking guy and most people don't like me because I'm very blunt, don't put up with anyone's crap and I spend most of my time alone doing what I want to do. I used to get depressed cuz I was in my 20's and never got close to being in a relationship.
But then I started lifting weights. I then got into side hustling and making extra money. I got interested in investing. I gradually phased out social media to the point where I'm only using Messenger cuz I get crap reception. Doing all this got me to a very critical point:
I DON'T CARE ANYMORE.
Seriously, whether I die as a virgin as things are trajectoring or get married and have an army of kids, whatever, at the end of the day I have the same exact fate as everyone else: rotting in the ground and getting eaten by worms. None of it freaking matters.
If someone makes you being single/married a big deal, then they are a toxic idiot you shouldn't be around. That's another thing I did: I stopped wasting my precious time with toxic people. Coincidentally it got me out of church.

I would never have expected to be single for life, but do to some unexpected turns in my life singleness is now my only choice. I know it will be difficult at times, and I know that I must give up sexual intimacy, but I have no choice. God bless you in your journey!

I feel the same! I feel like I’m going through the same experience. I’m seeing my friends and family get engaged, pregnant or married. I have been forcing my current boyfriend of 5 years to propose to me. I have been so obsessed with getting the ring. That I bought one last summer. But I returned it the next day. My emotions have been such a roller coaster. I feel desperate. Please pray for me.

Being single is ok until you're in a new place. Having to start over with nobody by your side. Going home knowing nobody's there for you. You know you'll be ok but it'll take time. It's even harder if you've had relationship before. You'll be ok, but until then, you're all you have

I was married once, it lasted 18 years and ive been single since (ten years). I have not been ok going this long single. Until recently God finally spoke to me on it and said to follow him. He pointed out where my sin was, why it was interfering and messing things up. But that I am to take this time to devote myself to Him, to be happy in my singleness, and that he will lead me. To what, i do not know… but honestly i feel really good. Its like the burden was removed. The sadness of feeling inferior was lifted. God is truly all you need but its not a No ladies, its a not right now, let me teach you and lead you to the man i have meant for you!! ♥️

I felt the same way when I was dating my ex boyfriend: I felt soooo good with life itself, and with myself, that I had cero pressure to be who I was, and I didn’t need to impress anyone😏
Although I might add that sometimes I know that I have to change my perspective, or have patience, or confidence, and I kind of struggle... but I guess it’s part of life, right?

If you meet a woman who's happy and content being single, who has goals, is doing her own thing, is on her own path, she seems so good on her own, and "has it together" ... maybe she doesn't want a boyfriend and maybe you can't add to that . She might hate and fear marriage . She might not want a husband and that means you're fighting a losing battle . The things she likes about being single have to be sacrificed when she gets married, and she might not like those sacrifices . You'll never be able to take a woman someplace she doesn't want to go . Taking a woman away from something she likes never ends well . I get that you have to get a good person that you deserve, but you can't wait sixty, seventy, eighty, or ninety years . If you believe in marriage, you should be married .
Been on this journey for about 6 months now after my last relationship of 3 weeks ended. It's really helped grow close to God and figure myself out as a person with what I want and don't want in life. I have days where it all goes great, but days where I go back to those old mindsets which can make me feel down on myself, but I'm at the point now where if I do go back to those old mindsets I talk to God about it and then I feel more peace in life! 🙏
