LOL... Procrastination really is the killer of all dreams. You're spot on! Thanks for the message, I just subscribed. Keep up the great work! 'Scroll to the bottom'-haha, absolutely! And that's a hell of a nugget-product is not payment! Thanks again!
THIS!!! I had this realization after months of receiving gifted collabs and I did this one collab with a brand and they wanted to two videos in exchange for content and they wanted it to be specific words with before and after pics in the video. It was a lot of work and I liked the products a lot but that’s when I realized WOW this is alot and I’m not even getting paid for it. Granted I am linking them to my storefront but that’s not promised payment you know. So I’ve decided to ask for paid collabs on brands that have been reaching out to me for gifted and all have said they are only offering gifted collabs so no luck on paid collabs yet 🤷🏻♀️ I am a small creator with just 2k on TikTok so I’m not sure I would even get any but I would love to see some examples for creators with a small following
Hey girl! Just seeing this comment. In Part 2 of my 'how to make a rate card' video, I share examples for different following sizes and how to charge for content! I made this video a few years ago, so I would increase the rates I suggested in that video, given the market. This should be a good start, but lmk if you want to see an updated video on this!!!
I see where you coming from and I love your videos so much. But I am beginner content creator and recieving any free product is always exciting. But what do you recommend us to decline or ask for payment? When did you receive your first paid collab?
I hear you! 🤍 I know it’s exciting and I’ve been there too. I don’t recommend getting into the habit of accepting gifts that require posting ESPECIALLY when the brand wants to use your content on their social pages/ads. I would negotiate with the brand. First ask if they have a budget, and if not, say that you do not accept products that require posting. My first paid ad came after several months of posting consistent, quality, and engaging content. I can elaborate more on this in another video 🤍
Loved this video! I'm a new content creator, and this video gave me hope. content creation is a journey not a race.. I am posting regardless of my voice telling me the videos are not good enough but if you have any feedback let me know!
Great video. I'm a new subscriber and starting my journey here as well. Thanks for the tips and sharing.
Product is not payment. Love it!
