Facts! I live in south west Va, bought my home brand new for $250k in 05 and now it’s valued over $440k with 4400 square feet on 1.5 acre of land. She can’t tell me nothing since I know her property taxes are a lot more than the $1200 I pay annually lol. Plus I have a lot of space between myself and my neighbors. When you factor cost of living, I bet overall I’m doing better than her with a lot less work and cheaper maintenance. Neither one of us are doing average because the average person is either living in an apartment or much cheaper home and earn around $40-$60k a year. Guess what, most people don’t go around trying to prove they are above average because many drive average cars.

I'm in the suburbs in Dallas (20 minutes north), so I know where she is. If she's in a million dollar home, she's selling 🐈 or has a sugar daddy. My wife and I both make six figures, and we are comfortable middle class. I wouldn't even think about a million dollar house unless I was making way more than I am now.
