No, sweetie. Your rights in society are not tied to whether you pay bills or not, and I'm going to need y'all to stop trying to make fetch happen, because we aren't falling for it. If I can get a job or start a business that keeps me comfortable, then so can you; and if you can make that much, you can move to a position where you can make more, just like I can. Here's the problem: if you start a family, who's carrying and giving birth to the children, and what's going to happen to her income while that's going on? Easy answer: you work while you pregnant (like most American women), and after maternity leave, you go back to work. Rather simple. Now, if you don't want to do that, then find yoself a man who thinks the same as you. Therefore, taking personal responsibility for your motherhood. I mean I think that’s fair enough for the man that wants to spilt it down the middle but also think if man wants someone to pay half the bills then its best to have one kid because day care is costly. Number 2 the chores such as cleaning , laundry , going to doctors appointments , grocery shopping and making meals should also be spilt between down the middle. Number 3 when both spouses are working both need to have a mature mindset to know If both don’t get off till 5 or 6 maybe even 7 depending on their work schedule expect dinner to be cooked , homework with kids and putting them to bed will to be done late at night … finishing up around 10 if not later. Which leaves you and your spouse a small amount time to yourself. Also both spouses would need to understand that working at the same time will both have you tired so don’t expect your partner to be in the mood for anything. And last both need to understand depending on work schedule you may not see each other like that or may not have a lot family time due both having to work. Unfortunately both partners will have to pay to have theirs kids watched or be taken to day care while they work. But it can work. Both just have to share the load equally. And I when I mean share the load equally it mean exactly that … so if you work long shift 10 or more hours and its your day to cook don’t expect no meal when you get home. If share the load you stick to word on every thing you split. You may not have no cooked meals all the time or no lunch or being or ya house cleaned or ya grocery in the fridge or ya laundry washed depending on who tf decides to f*ck around and not keep on their side of the load. Treat it like a job you don’t show up for work you don’t get paid. You don’t do your share of the load inside the house then it doesn’t get DONE. Watch mf fold like ten fold cause guarantee it won’t last long doing that way lol
