You should make a kit. Body, wire, split rings etc. Then sell them to your subscribers. Then make a video explaining how to build them.
No fancy paint jobs or carved details. Basic and immersive.

(Year later I know lol) I'd buy em! I am currently trying to carve a lure out of one of the MANY small branches that wasn't taken away after the Derecho that went through central Iowa August 10. I know it won't work (mostly because I don't know how to do the wire for the hooks) but it's fun trying to get the body done.

It's official....your my new favorite channel
A PIKE! I'm so excited! They're kinda scary looking. My mother was on a fishing trip in a boat out on some body of water, and she was SO HUNGRY, they were fishing for their lunch. She got a bite and landed a huge pike into the bottom of the boat. She said it looked like a log with teeth and she tried to hit it with her oar before someone intervened. She said it was delicious. XD
I haven’t watched this video since it came out, but decided to watch it again for no particular reason... but I got reminded of the dreaded spray adhesive, and will have nightmares for the rest of my days.

Hey Nate, So I had a horrible day today. My dog passed away today from a perforated intestine, and the only thing that was able to take my mind off of loosing her was your video. Even if it was for 30 minutes, you helped to distract me for awhile. Keep the videos coming, i'm going to need them!

Can’t explain exactly why I liked the video so much, but I did. If it were me I would be quite pleased that something I made was so successful. Also liked the laid back way of the video. Good job.
Every time you go fishing with your new lure you should also take the lures that failed to catch fish as redemption. That way you don’t only have to use one lure the entire day or Incase you finish the challenge and have time to use the other ones.

Another great video. Thank you for always putting a smile on my face. I think you should have a contest with your wife. Your wife create a fly and you a lure. Then you have to fish each others species and see who can catches more on their lure/fly.
You should try to create your own type of lure. Like something no one really sees.

Ever think about getting into soft baits/plastics? Your carving ability would allow for some great molds. As well as your airbrushing.

Not an idea for a fish species but you could go for something that has scars on it. That could make for a really badass design. It may not be perfectly, semmytrically streamlined but who knows? Maybe that adds to it?
