From what I've read you want a margin of error < 4%, but you also need to look at the sample size and exactly _who_ is included in the poll - a lot of these polls seem to use

The past decade has given us reasons to Not Believe Polls
Kennedy is polling at 29% and will grow significantly as he gains more ballot access in each state. He's already confirmed in CA, NV, UT, ID, NE, IA, MI, NC, DE, NH and HI. He'll only need access in 7 states before November.
Polls have been off by 7-8 points for years compared to election and referendum results. In fact, in a recent election in Alabama, polls were off by 25-30 points !!! These recent polls strongly indicate that Biden will win the election by 10-20 points. Which certainly makes sense.

The fact that Republicans have Trump as their nominee after all that's happened in our country makes me more certain that Biden has a chance. If Republicans had a real Republican as their nominee I would be more worried. My concern is the tactics that local MAGA have up their sleeves. Pay attention to your voter registration and your polling station. We have safe mostly mail-in voting here in Colorado.
