Then there is the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions. The All-China Federation of Trade Unions has 302,000,000 members. The General Union of Union Trades was founded in London in 1810.
America does not even rank in the top 20 in union density.

As far equating them to slavery, there is nothing as abhorrent as slavery. Granted people in sweatshops are treated terribly but they are not being brutalized nor being stolen from their families. They are not being sold nor being whipped to death. They are not working under the fear of death or dismemberment.

The Allies had been fighting tooth and nail with great loss of life before the immediate threat to American safety was posed by the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour.Yes, the Americans huge contribution to winning that war was sorely needed ,much appreciated and certainly deserves great recognition.They did not however win the war.They were a very valuable part of that victory . A lot of the criticism and anti - American sentiment stems from such American beliefs and statements.Taking credit when the complete credit claimed is not deserved .Families of the soldiers who lost their lives in that conflict feel resentment,as of course do the soldiers who fought and survived the horrors that war causes.That claim diminishes their sacrifice.

The automotive union strike that occurred caused as much if not more damage than good as anyone in the automotive field not union (engineers, etc) got their jobs heavily affected by it. We are also now looking at Stellantis (Dodge, etc) possibly pulling all of their work out of the United States. They may have won a battle by making the CEOs bend over, but lost the war since you know they won't give up a dime and made cuts everywhere else.
