  • The Kansai Main Line (関西本線 Kansai-honsen, also called the "Kansai Line") is a railway line in Japan, which connects Nagoya Station with JR Namba Station in Osaka. It is jointly run by the Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central) and West Japan Railway Company (JR West), with the boundary between both companies being located at Kameyama Station in Kameyama, Mie.
Due to the typhoon of 2017, we stopped driving between Kameyama station and Tsuge transit station on the Kansai main line.
Therefore, the Rail replacement bus started operation.
The Kansai line was restored on January 9, 2018, and the Rail replacement bus finished the operation.

Now I understand why Japanese prefer train over bus. The road feel narrow and that rattling sound feel uncomfortable

What's an appropriate way to say "Well done, sir" in Japanese? Because that is what I would want to say to the bus driver after his successful traversal of that route, where a single misjudgement could have put us into the side of a hill, into a river, or into a collision with an oncoming car.
