That's actually kind of common in this game, you literally have demons in normal encounters with that skill in the mid-late game. And it becomes pretty common in the late game

Wait a minute, either you went full magic no vit or a glass canon built but even on Hard, there is no way should you miss Endure, Sujakaja, Takukaja and Rakukaja. He didn't have Dekaja so you should be able to withstand it You could also learn Physic Drain as well.

@@zenith4919 considering this boss literally can't hurt you if you walk in with masakados on, and if you stack to +4 defense and debuff him to -4 attack he can never kill you even if you get super unlucky and get shocked (which will make him focus target you) and you could equip endure to survive a lethal hit, yeah, we're gonna say that This is arguably the easiest mandatory boss fight in the entire game.

If you already played a persona game you are familiar enough with weaknesses, null, reflect etc So maybe you would play this on normal and would still tough but not impossible or over frustrating If you already beat other megaten like SMT IV and you want It to fucking brutal hard you may play on hard. This was my case and It was really fun but also the most merciless RPG I ever played. You have to go insane to beat It
It'sone of the more challenging smt games. If you're completely new to the series I wouldn't recommend it but if you know the core mechanics like hitting weaknesses, I'd say you can figure it out with a little trial and error.
You can level up indefinitely in the game and there's a optional dungeon to get items to give you enough exp to level up after each fight so u can 'respec' like that i guess
It's funny when the AI decides it's tired of players and uses what it knows to finish the fight

Honestly the game is like a puzzle if you build well you "should" be fine. Beast eye is a think that ya cant really build around.
If it's your first SMT, try SMT V first. It's not as unforgiving but it's still a SMT. If you're familiar with the series, go ahead
