Hi ArcadeFl. The Syntheziser is certainly good, but what made me a bit suspicious is that it is freeware. I ran a security check before executing the exe file. VirusTotal internetsite shows me that it is a malicious exe file in 3 categories. No idea to what extent this is true now.
i shared your enthousiasm at first, but then i actually tried. It may work on synth sounds, but anything like a guitar, a trumpet, piano or anything coming from a real instrument wont work at all. same for organic sound effect, just dosent work.
i would also be carefull whenever you see someone mentionning "FREE" especially when its in caps. also it is not a vst... (if its free, you are the product) it should be noted that the software uploads the sound file you give it, its hard to know what kind of data are also sent in the process. i might be wrong and the devs are actual nice guys with a good idea but its good to have at least one person who doubt right ? =D
I would love to have this integrated in Vital, like Genopatch in Synplant 2. The ability to immediately try and discard presets is super fun. I am also missing the ability to chose an specific time area of a sample for reference. I don't want to edit samples manually in advance also manually deleting isn't very intuitive in comparison to just saving the good presets. Vital with Micro Music functionality directly integrated would be a game changer. Alternatively the ability to select only a prt of a sample for analyzation and a preview for the preset would be an improvement. In the current state its more like a tech demo but not so well integrated for daily use.
awesome plugin realy great also the explanation in straight forward to the point so def a new sub :) Thanks for sharing ! gone explore your channel also saw the chord generator video before this one realy great !
Its a neat gimmick, quite similar to synplant, and could be fun to mess around with, but i never see either this, or synplant put out patches beyond the really standard patches that most anyone could make with a little synth experience. Just basic plucks and supersaws with a few effects thrown on, that you still have to tweak anyway. Id like to see something that can replicate or just generate more complex morphing sounds and wavetables. This idea is clearly still in its infancy, and has some room to grow before its something truly fantastic.
I think it can help the people with synthphobia kinda cheat their way past this part of music production. Totally fair as even the best synth guys maybe lack in other areas. I see this as a total win
This should be pinned in the top. It IS indeed.. And better yet: no AI shit in the name pretending it's using AI for something it doesn't and it's FREE.
No more looking for preset packs thanks Arcade bring this amazing software to us and great kudos to the developer of this software. Thank you so much guys
If any of your friends are scratching their heads wondering if is there any precedence of human factor when AI conquers all our jobs... Just direct them to this video, idiot, take a breath, listen to your soul, try to understand the most controversial but in the same time the most trivial things of this ethernity: no shortcuts, period. Mechanisms are mechanisms, creativity is creativity. Let me repeat what all of us said: beautiful imperfections are infinitesimally hard to achieve without a so-called soul in you. Yes, it's a tiny bit wider thing than biological life. Or maybe not, but just try to be silent in your head and find the truth, it's there, and nowhere outside. This video is a perfect introduction towards this one-man production named being yourself.
Honestly this does better with certain sounds than synplant and I love the fact that it turns them into vital presets which are way more editable. But yeah synplant definitely has it's own place :)
it doesn't work at all. When I try to start MicroMusic this error immediately appears: WARNING:tensorflow:AutoGraph is not available in this environment: functions lack code information. I cannot move any files within Micro in any way. Has anyone had the same issue?
I am using the latest beta version. Are you only using a short part of the sample? 4-10 seconds or so. There might be some bugs on some PCs. Maybe check if the white noise is not too high on the presets. The creator made a discord channel, so maybe ask there: discord.gg/yGng83NM8D
just make sure you are not dragging the whole song in there.. because I didn't show it in the video but I created short 5-10 second samples of the songs and rendered those into wav files as you can see in the video. Other than that I am not sure what the issue could be.@@jokindajoker
Im looking for a plugin that can turn my guitar loops to synth. Basically I created a song with acoustic guitar, and want to take the guitar parts and convert them to synth keyboards sounds… Any idea? And yes I know they have pedals that do it as you go but I didn’t think about this til afterwards.
I'll probably clone all the moog, and 80s basses in songs like Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars.. all those fancy expensive hardwares I couldn't afford.. in a freakin' free tool.. holy fuck.. i love you man :)
Hey this deal is amazing BUT I'm bit new to music tech, so I've got just now MPC ONE +, and my Q is WIll your samples work with this unit - MPC ONE + Thnks.
I don‘t get it. I was excited after i watched the first video about it. Than i tested it with several sounds and most of them where pretty clean without other sounds around it. The result was trash almost every time and even with tweaks it was far from usable. Maybe the alpha-version is better but your results seem like they come from a different tool.
Okay, so it downloads easy enough, but where is the actual application among the many files it downloads? I show nothing in my search feature on the PC and it doesn't open in the DAW, so how do I actually get the part where I input the wav file? That is unfortunately lacking in the video - just says to grab your clip and put it in, but apparently it shows up easier for some folks than others...
it's just..... WOWWWW !!! but a bit scary at the same time.... AI just jumped so high in just 2 years... what will it be in 10 years ? ( if we have the CPUs to drive it of course...)
FUN for a moment until you realize how unusable any of it really is. I think the big problem these types of software can pose is laziness, esp the younger generations with a ton of energy and health. Productivity is one thing, but for the average person, if you are not forcing yourself to really learn sound and synthesis, you are not helping yourself at all. Learn the fundamentals...from the ground up. THEN maybe use tools like this to help you become more efficient.
I like Synplant 2 for variations on percussion. I get ya, I want to create my own sounds so I can get variations quickly. I also reverse engineer things so I can then meld that knowledge with pre-existing tricks I have picked up.

Please tell your friend that this is an amazing idea! Such a great learning tool. Also send thanks his direction!

Great, now i'll have to get vital hah! ... Thank you very much for all those tools you share with us to improve our skills, Arcade. You rock, dude.

This is just too good.
It works with very simple sounds but it keeps spitting out the same vital settings. They do take a lot of editing.
Really cool, thanks for this
Gonna try this out, thanks Arcade!
That's impressive
Cool, it's almost like SYNPLANT 2 only for free. But there you can do it all in one place.
Honestly this does better with certain sounds than synplant and I love the fact that it turns them into vital presets which are way more editable. But yeah synplant definitely has it's own place :)
synplant 2 is trash compared to this. most overrated plugin i've ever tested next to acustica audio plugins.
it doesn't work at all.

I am not sure try updating vital to the latest beta or it may just be an issue with certain computers since It's still a work in progress.

This is a very low iq take. If presets were pointless no synth would come with any and there wouldn’t be a huge market for them
