A wonderful selection. Thanks!
Great selection! I love the toneboosters plugins. Very underated developer, I'd say
famous developeer - definitely not underrrated - just unknown by beginners.
@@levondarratt787 🤣 Alright mr expert
Nice to see Spiral Delay here. It's a pretty simple plugin, but perfectly executed. The UI, the sound, the CPU consumption, and just about everything, is flawless. Definitely a 5/5 stars in my book!
You are too kind!! Thank you so much for the support :)))
That's the one I instantly went and downloaded.
IT sounded so oo good i immeadiately went to download it
Hear, hear! Just got it a week ago and I've already used it a ton!
It does not show up in Logic though even though it appears in the plug-in manager. Maybe it only works on a newer OS?
Thanks as always. Love your channel.
Only thing really missing from the vid is a name list in the description...
I can understand the idea of not wanting to provide URLs, because as a vid creator one doesn't control if a link continues to work or not, but just having the name listed helps because we can simply right click and put the name in a search...
Still, thanks for the vid.
Hi ! Thanks for this great video once again ! Love your content!
You're the king of sound info and tutorials. First, I love your voice and second I love how you get to the point QUICKLY and let us know the most important info without dragging it out!!
EXACTLY TRUE!!!!
all this 💯
love the idea of your website / membership
Ok those first two look really f*cking cool. Thanks for this!
Thanks for your helpful video!
We love sage, I can full advocate for their mastering community, I m a member,
literally still amazed on the first 2 . what a video!
Thank you so damn much for showing these amazing tools!
Very interesting! Thanks for shared 🎼
ive been tryna conceptualize a spiral delay for years, i cant believe this thing already exists im so hype
Thanks for this video man I discovered some plugins I have never heard of before
this was helpful, thanks
Nice video, several here I haven't seen before and your video got straight to the point of all these plugins thank you! Spiral Delay (#3) looks like the most interesting to me. While Cesium (#10) and Tungsten (#11) sound great, I'm really not a fan of the hardware skeuomorph interfaces. I imagine that if you use a lot of hardware in your workflow then perhaps they are an advantage - but I think the true power of software instruments is breaking free of hardware design limitations. Spiral Delay has a modern software UI that I like. The faders are far easier to see and interact with and the display really helps you visualize what it is doing to your sound. Plugin #13 also looks like it has a great modern UI.
To me putting fake hardware knobs and god those toggle switches are awful and hard to see is a very bad idea. It is like the worst limitations of software (emulation) and the worst limitations of hardware (limited controls) combined into one garbage sandwich. It's like a comedy musical - it's usually not funny AND the music isn't very good. The worst of both worlds.
Voxengo PHA-979 has a frequency specific correlation meter in it. It's not as high resolution as Goniometer, it's instead in specific band chunks, but it's still a good one that's been around for a while.
adptr audio metric ab has this too and it's great, very detailed and hi res. not free tho
Awesome video!!
Great video! Thank you 🙂
Thank you Sage
Great video. Thank you! I am new to the channel. Do you have a video in your library that shows how to get the type of vocals for the voiceover you have in this video? It sounds so crisp. Thanks again.
Thanks for the tip on hornet magnus lite! I was looking for a free clipper :)
lets hope they a morpher for hard/soft clipping, like Drums that Knock style
I recommend PeakEater, which has dry/wet and different clipping modes, including some softclips.
What program do you use to make music?
Fresh air is pretty nice do you know a free plug witch can do the same job with low frequencies?? Thx
Excelente!...
Great man!!!
Appriciate you
Waiting for your video about Sends.. reverb, delay.. cheers 🙌

Thanks a lot
Thanks.
I downloaded and installed SampLab but when I tried to run it I got a bucket full of errors about some scripts and the program won't start
@sageaudio any chance you can add the links to the description? Trying to get the Fuzzboy in particular, and Google does NOT like how Dirckt spells their name.
Haha that makes sense! Here's a link: direktdsp.itch.io/fuzzboy
I avoid including links since if they change, I'll have to go back to and change them, and to be honest, I just don't have the memory for which videos include which links haha. I always use KVR Audio though - they're pretty reliable for providing the correct links
@@sageaudiovery fair! Thanks for the link! Appreciate it.
I added them all since they didn't feel like doing the needful
@@hostnik777 they added it pretty much as soon as I asked and gave a very reasonable explanation why they typically don't.
@@ParanormalArson - you missed it, I added ALL the links. See above.
nice. thank you Stevo
awesome. thanks
gotta say, those green oak ones are garbage though
Burier and More sounds really close to Decapitator, really good alternative if you can not afford those Soundtoys! Thank you man!
Decapitator is a real CPU hog..am I right???
144,500 people could save a lo-ooooooooooooooooooooooo-ot of time if you add links in the description....
you are the best!
Great vid!!!
Is Cesium an ADT type chorus sound? Love the videos man!
very useful video.
I checked the delay, interesting, brand I did not even know yet
In wich program do you use it ?
Tungsten is crazy 🔥
Sound like the twist was just making the reverb tail, longer, and maybe adding some additional delay taps, because that is the result I heard in the end. I have heard that many times, it will clutter a mix though, so pretty unusable in a mix if you have more sounds than 2
Put some sidechain compressor and EQ on the reverb and it should be fire I think, will try out now
@@christianhansen9908 Sidechain was not modern anymore in 2012. But if you like old school, then why not.
where are the free plugins i click the link and it wants money sign up
Now I know how to make Egor Letov type beat)) 3:15
where should i find fuzzboy
voxengo correlometer is an alternative to tonebooster goniometer
Sage audio you have changed my entire life as a music producer
Links to products mentioned here would have been helpful folks?
why no links dawg?
Does anyone have trouble to install FuzzBoy??
thank you for making this video. i really appreciate it. lololol
u should put the link in the description
Hornet Magnus lite is good
13 free plug ins plus our very own infomercial 😅
I don't have any suggestions. But, I would really appreciate it if you find a free plug-in that has the functionality as Sooth2
Thanks for watching! I haven't seen one yet, but I'm waiting for that too!
❤❤❤
the first one is so much different then in this video
how about links next time?
And less talking
Siberian Hamster... excellent name... for anyone who gets the reference 🙂
Siberian Hamster, but yes, got the reference straight away! 😁
Great episode!
Yeah stupid autocorrect
@@bobbyweezer Yeah, I figured that!
The Siberian Hamster was featured on another channel a while back, nobody got the reference! I guess it wasn't as popular in the US and Canada as it was in Australia and the UK. Do you know that there's only 7 episodes? Seems like there were a lot more when you remember back.
12 I think... just two seasons. But yeah astonishingly few, given its impact and stature.
@@bobbyweezer I plead Alcohol Confusion Your Honour.
Links? Yknow?
number 5. It was not even close. LOL
Ah the good ol’ don’t include a list yet alone links to get people watching all the way
'Hello wolrd'
Hello AI
@@michaelshakhov2100thats what the ai says
M looking for free autotune. Any suggestions?
MAutoPitch by Melda Audio is a good option
lmao
@@sageaudioThank u so much
Your channel has some of the most clean graphics ever.
Its all free? But where are the links?
Just google them.
Bro you get a sub from me this is the stuff I'm looking for 👍🤞
Here is a joke about audio engineering:
I prefer the pan pot to the Pol Pot.
"Free" is great unless you're a pro and you load up a song 2 years down the line and see the plugin isn't supported any more on your platform.
always render to wav
@@JesseJuupI believe cosmic is referring to plugins like limiters. If it’s not supported anymore but your client needs a small tweak to the master for example. You’d have to complete start your master over and may not be able to get the final sound close to your original mix.
@@SimienHill Hi, yes, not just limiters but anything at all. Effects, processors, amp sims, instruments...
More than a few I picked up became obsoleted by Macs changes in CPUs or major OS etc. Or the company folding.
And yes, I had an artist ask for an unreleased project that was 5+ years old recently - just ONE example.
@@JesseJuup Yes I do. But then you can't necessarily do the tweak.
Even paid plugins lose support if the company decides to retire it or goes out of business. Not a good argument against free plugins. Most people know if it's free you probably have no support anyway. These free plugs are great for those who don't have the money to spend but want something other than their stock plugs.
Siberian Hamster 😂😂😂
Once again Cardinal gets slept on
little aleter boy aleternative pls ?????
Well, I've tested the "Wave Breaker" limiter. Yes it has a nice interface. But overall, it's a pretty useless plugin. In addition to the fact that there is no normal volume meter in it this plugin also has very bad algorithms. Already at average values the sound begins to choke, sound flat and overcompressed. And the saturation mode killed me. Because this is not saturation - in the extreme right position, this knob simply adds +0.3 dB to the original signal without introducing any distortion. Therefore, I don't see the point of using it anywhere.
..That went quite well I thought..
hello
DEXED is a classic 6 op FM synth.
no links?!
Google 😮
Not just for convenience but for support and respect for the companies that made this video possible, I guess they wouldn't pay him@@lionnonny 🤷♂
love how you tapping into AI
Why not just put the names and screenshots of the plugins in the chapters? Feels very clickbaity.
Technically not free if you have to pay a subscription
You mean the masters that come with the membership?
Can't get to thefree stuff without registering an account which requires a CC @@sageaudio
You call this Game changing ???????
AI voice... hmmm/
AI is just software. That's all. Software. 🙄
Great video but why do millennials get modulation effects and turn the speed up to the max?!? It just gets the worst out of the effect and is unusable in any song outside of EDM
Nothing about any of these is game-changing.
Meh plugins
Do not support AI companies.
