I don't quite understand how everyone is so excited about humanoid robots that can perform human tasks with ease. What good is a warehouse full of products built by 24/7 robot workers if no one has money to buy them because of massive unemployment. They need to tap the brakes on this stuff or quickly regulate it or it is going to destroy the economy.

I'm much happier when I look at an issue positively. Robots will be taxed just like humans. The government will tax data production and usage. Monetary policy will tax banks for capital gains and other methods. Public investments will have money to fund public projects directly. Also, this money will be taxed. AI will directly generate money for the government to tax and use. Many other ways will be possible.

As we live more on the internet and robots replace us in the real world, our meaningful interactions with other humans will reduce further. It's like a big trap of illusion that seems so appealing with that great potential, but nothing can replace the real thing. As so many of us making friends with AIs, to hear "I understand you and I feel what you are experiencing", without actually being able to thinks or to feel - it's only pleasant words. Humanity must stick together in this time of transition and change and put their heads together how to actually make a world a better place and be the support for one another. Thanks. I wish all of you robotics/AI gurus would stop acting like building a minimally functional humanoid robot in 2022 such a great feat. It is not. Computerized human prosthetics more complicated than what I have see in the robots have been under development for well over a decade. We already have non-humanoid robots that perform most of the tasks we have seen from the humanoid robots todate (including walking, sorting, and manipulating). Take a look at the 60 Minutes series of reports on robotic prosthetic limbs beginning in 2012 on RUclips.

If it can draw and create then having it design it's own body and being able to explain it's reasoning for such a creation and how it functions to the human engineer such as using solar to power itself in order lessen battery lose.
