I really never got why GM needs GMC, the Yukon is just another version of the Escalade and Tahoe
@Xiber1 Do you really think people who bought a $55k+ vehicle care about gas mileage?
I do love GM Trucks and Full-Size SUVs. My dad used to have 2 GMC Sierras. Now he has a Silverado.
If you can afford a car like that are you really worried about the gas millage?
i recently saw one of these (not a denali trim line though) here in germany, and it wowed me big time , very impressive on size and looks and distinctive on germans roads. if i only had the money i'd get me one in a minute here :)

The GMC Yukon is the best Full-Sized SUV available. It has more power (sometimes twice as much) as some commercial duty vehiclesm which I love. It also has almost 10K towing.
Also applies to the Tahoe/Suburban.

Wish we could get these SUVs in Australia. Converted to LPG fuel they wouid make great cars
awesome truck SUV, we rent it and it feels like a small car and very maneuverable

Umm this vehicle sits 9 people and it has the payload capability of 8,500 lbs. under the hood u have a 6.2L V8 that produces 403HP and 417Lbs of torque of course this beast is not going to get the same fuel economy as a prius

All these comments about what is the Yukon & Tahoe, is it a big car, big SUV, or a truck?
It's a big SUV built on the 1/2 ton GMC/CHEVY frame, with coil spring suspension, not leaf springs.

Mine is a 2003 built in the Texas GM plant. One of the best vehicles I have ever owned!
It can tow 9,800 lbs, and it does! Try that with the imports LOL.
I get 28 mpg on the highway with 4 people. you were saying?
I have driven the new Cheve Trailblazer and it handles great BUT it handles weirdly. The Yukon however does handle nicely

That's what I have...its getting up in miles now...and all I been hearing from mechanic is "this is common in these" over and over and over again...alot of little issues annoying parts that cost alot
yes yes, I understand the frustration, however as it is an American vehicle, the parts are not that expensive in USA. It hasn't given me much problems in the last 3 years.
I also recently bought a 2019 gmc terrain denali & posted a video on my channel & in that video I show the gmc Yukon
honestly i dont get it to much either...there really use to be a big difference between gmc and chevy cars, but now the yukon is identical to the tahoe. Anything you cant get on a yukon you can get on a tahoe.....same interior ,etc. Cadillac is the only one they distinguish from the group. They can get that nice 6.3L engine! Personally though the tahoe has a meaner look to me which i prefer over the yukon.....just picked up a 09 tahoe blk/blk 7k for 31k
the only gm suv where i can put on the hpe1000 twin turbo kit, and slap a 6 inch lift kit n it from bds suspension
@3ashmeik So thats a no, unless you want to remove your transfer case and all of its components from the transmission. Denali's has that switchable 4wd, 2wd option too. but only for the 4x4 models
did 2007/2014 denali actually came with an option for switchable 4x4 because all i see was AWD

oops i did forget the Denali gets the 6.3L. I wish they put that honeycomb grille on all their Yukon's though

@YouDiddntSeeAnything I get that, but this is one of the reasons GM got in trouble economically; complicating things with too many sub-brands. I'm surprised GM cut Pontiac and kept GMC. Pontiac had a unique look and brand line while most GMCs are just slightly more equipped Chevrolet's.

Standard features air conditioning w/dual-zone climate controls, rear air conditioning and heater, tilt leather-wrapped steering wheel w/radio controls, cruise control, 6-way power driver seat, compass, outside-temperature indicator.

Never really like the GMC SUV's. I like Chevy's and Caddy's more. But im sure it's a great car!
Not everybody's taste...I would take this, though it's quite expensive. I like the previous generation Denali. It just looked better than this. IMO

@bigcaddydevill96 denali has a larger engine than a tahoe or suburban. Same as an escalade.
a bmw X5, porsche cayenne, and jeep srt-8........all ridiculously fast and handle like a sports car

this is WRONG. I have the 6.2 in my Denali and its 405 HP.
+bmorant1902 the 6.2 in the yukon denali makes 380
Different year/ different hp rating.
In 2009 and up the Denali got a hp upgrade to 405 ponies.

28 mpg highway my ass. You don't get near 30 mpg driving a box with a 5.3L V8
gmc yukon denali is better value than cadillac escalade because :
1-both of them powered by 6.2 l v8 403 hp 417 flb
2-both of them have the same size and space
3-both of them have great look and so stylish
4-but gmc yukon denali is better in off roading than cadillac escalade
5-gmc yukon denali costs just 57.000 $ but cadillac escalade costs 87.000 $
The Cadillac has less under body army than the Yukon. So it's really not worthy for the mountain lifestyle like the Yukon is.

Awesome vehicles I have two and you get what you pay for and the 6.0and6.2 motors are full of power and torque I love them no trouble at all gmc built tough. The frame on these things are heavy duty just awesomely built

The Navigator is HIDEOUS and the Toyota is pretty ugly too. My friend has a black '08 Yukon Denali and i love it. If i didnt have the car i have now i'd buy one. I currently have an '08 Nissan Armada.

i simply hate suvs because the r not good 4 fast driving cutting on the streets and sneaking pass other cars the best thing is a luxury sedan 4 this purpose a suv is only 4 a family or to go 4 some picnic etc, a suv can never compete a luxury sedan whether the suv is the yukon denali hybrid or the tahoe ltz hybrid..!!

yukons are not cars they are a truck if youre not going to use it for pulling or plowing just get a mini van

there are sedan cars in europe pushing out more horsepower from 4cylinders than this monstrosity...... no european would touch this, styling is poor, more plastic on the dashboard from the 80s....... toyota nissan and range rover ar your proper 4x4s, sorry folks
This car is not worth the money. It's cheaply made and is not well equipped unless you spend 60k. I wouldn't buy this for any reason.
very bad fuel economy ... it's a gas guzzler , I don't like it one bit.
You won't get good fuel economy from a full size suv like this unless you are driving on the highway with it. If you want a fuel efficient vehicle, buy a small or midsize car. It will most likely get better fuel economy than this vehicle.

These are gas guzzling dinosours now, GM had better learn its lesson not to make such kind of gas guzzlers anymore
