This video shows why sampling can be such a lost art and why alot of people choose to stay away from it (aside from clearance issues). You really gotta get in there and slice, chop, tune, arrange etc. and some folks just don't have the ear or the patience. Good work my friend
Accurate - hats off to you again. One thing I've noticed is that you're very shrewd and assured when making selections for parameters/effects/chops. You seem to be totally decisive. I spend too long with different ideas and then just ended up ditching the whole thing. Thank you so much for this video, great inspiration!
Your comment stood out to me because I used to be the same way. I've been producing for a little over 2 decades and the one piece of advice I would offer you is you must commit to a sound, instrument, sample, etc. Commitment goes a long way. At some point you have to commit or you'll never get anything done. Theres always this fear that you're going to do something that sounds bad and that fear will keep you from exploring and discovering new things that are gonna solidify your style. Dont be afraid to mess up, you can always save as many versions of a song that you want and keep what works and scrap the rest or use it elsewhere. And dont be afraid to commit. Pick a sound and make it work. Best wishes my friend
I think its time to thank you for everything you share on your videos and being such an inspiration since you started with this chanel three years ago. I really think you are the best in beatmaking and sampling. You always keep the classic hip hop spirit and i'm very grateful for everything you have taught me with your videos, I hope you keep doing music and videos many years, you are the best! !!! Greetings from Madrid, Spain
Thank you Luis! As long as people like you write things like this and tells me they find the videos inspirational, I just cant stop making videos. Im glad you took the time to write this, I appreciate it a lot! Thanks for supporting the channel.
this was awesome. I dont have the type of set up that you do but i can at least find a way to incorporate your methods into what im working with. the post editing of the chops is what you helped me out with in this. Thank you!
Beat ended up real nice, using Jeremy's shoutout was the cherry on top, good to see you exploring the possibilities of the DVS mixer! One of your best videos in a good while :)
Thanks! Well, I know what you're talking about 100%. That's why I prefer controllers and standalone devices for making beats. i think its a little easier to get stuck scrolling for sounds on the computer. Thanks for watching and good luck with that music making!
That's dope, Accurate. I'd like to know your review of the Maschine; how its connected to your outer gear, that was sweet; the beat. Till next time, stay safe & well. Teach your skillz.
Accurate Beats btw man i was wondering since now you have a timecode setup for scratching. do you have any latency issues? i once had a midi dj controller and the latency was awful for scratching
Accurate Beats thank you! Can you give us insight on how to make sax/trumpet stabs on beats? Its hard to make it sounds tight, but I believe you can show us the good way! Props!!!
Nice track .. but thought the MPC beets you started with sounded much better than the machine ones .. but I understand the video was about the maschine .. so I’ll let you off 😂👍... I absolutely love your channel and content ❤️❤️👌
Indica Strain The main device would be Maschine. It’s all recorded straight into maschine. I use Logic from time to time but this video was made all using Maschine. Thanks for watching
Ive been using maschine for over 10 years. I’m extremely comfortable with it. I am contemplating buying an mpc live 2. Do you ever use them together? I have always used analog samplers with maschine. How is the work flow using both?
For somebody who owns an MPC Live but wants to start creating full songs, would you recommend adding a Maschine and something like Logic or just straight into Logic? I want to record a lot of piano etc, and like the NI instruments. Love your channel btw, but I fear you will cost me a fair chunk of money in the coming months!
Hey! I think you’ll be pretty happy with just a copy of Logic together with MPC Live. Maschine wouldn’t really add much more for arranging songs and all that. A DAW is what you need :) Thanks for the love. I really appreciate it
Cool vids as always ! Just one question. What’s the settings to have the sample cut when you plays an other pad ( when I play the first pad continue to play the sound till the end if I play a second pad the sound doesn’t cut ) thanks for the answer I’m happy that you have support from other channel keep continue ! And thanks for all the inspiration that you give !
How are you connecting the turntable into the Maschine? Do you go in to the mixer and out to Maschine? Or do I need to use and audio interface or simple Pre Amp?? I would like to start out making beats and the Mk3 seems like a good price range to get straight in. With the MPC LIVE as I understand it, I can just hook up my 1210's into the kit and sample straight off.
Hey there i have a question for you if you could take the time to respond would really appreciate it. Im a hip hop fan. I love the boom bap era, i use maschine mikro and i wanted to ask some question about using mashine and laying down drum patterns.
Thanks Andy! Yeah, I'm soo excited about that release! I really hope to get my hands on one of the early units. Sure, it seems small but I think it'll be awsome together with the OP-1! Hopefully I'll be able to make some videos on it soon after the release.
I love that sample with the bells it sounds like liquid love. Do you think you could do a tutuorial on how to sample with the mk3 ive been trying to figure out but there arent any good tutorials on youtube god bless
Im thinking of making a proper series covering the basics of sampling and constructing a beat. Its hard to find the time but Im thinking about it. Thanks for the suggestion :D
Thank you for your great video! I'm completely new to this topic and considering to buy a MK3. Your videos inspire me a lot. Could you do me a huge favor and tell me the artist / title of the first record. I've rewound the video a hundred times, but I just can't recognize the text on the label. I love these grooves! Many Thanks!
Thank you!! I really recommend getting it. It’ll be a bit hard at first but as soon as you get the hang of it I’m sure you’ll fall in love with it! I’m not giving away the record though. Sorry...
How exactly are you chopping samples with the maschine and doing drums with the akai? Is the maschine commected to the sampling software, while the akai is on controller mode in your daw?
I like the final result. But the snare... something say me change the snare hahaha. Maybe a Snare like Rimshot. But i like the beat! Greetings from México!
Hey, I'd like to ask you, have you ever used any of those portable type record players like the PT-01? Do you think the quality is decent enough for sampling for beatmaking? Thanks for your advice!
Ki Rin sure the quality is good enough for sampling! Some people have issues with the switch that works as the crossfader for scratching but for a beginner or just for sampling? It’ll be awsome
My dude has an Akai and a Native Instruments routed in the same chain. God level.
AYYYY NO QUANTIZE!!!! ✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾😊😩😩
HERE FOR THIS
Sarah2ill yeah! I appreciate your channel a lot! Reeeespect
No quantize is realness
This video shows why sampling can be such a lost art and why alot of people choose to stay away from it (aside from clearance issues). You really gotta get in there and slice, chop, tune, arrange etc. and some folks just don't have the ear or the patience. Good work my friend
Thank you! I couldn’t agree more. Sampling is time consuming and a craft you need to develop over time. The possibilities though! Endless.
Thanks!
Indica Strain lazy
Where can I get a record player?
You can get a record player at a lot of places what do you want to use it with?
@@tryhardclips5669 pretty much everywhere - even at amazon
In a world where so many you tubers content is negative about their competitors, had a tear in my eye at the end there. Top work
That’s dope fam. Love how you shouted homie out at the end. That was 🔥
Accurate - hats off to you again. One thing I've noticed is that you're very shrewd and assured when making selections for parameters/effects/chops. You seem to be totally decisive. The vinyl needle sound is relaxing as

Mine comes in the mail today. This is by far the most crucial video I've watched on a day in the life sort of thing. Sick. Cheers. subscribed.
You're an inspiration to us all! Great stuff. I'm a NI workflow producer too and building. Thank you for the great videos.
this was awesome. I dont have the type of set up that you do but i can at least find a way to incorporate your methods into what im working with. the post editing of the chops is what you helped me out with in this. Thank you!
that ring delay trick is amazing, thanks
Great video as always. I just got an MK3 this week.. I Like it!
Oh, you did? I thought you was too deep in love with that push 2 of yours?
Accurate Beats 😂I am still in love but I wanted to try it out.
much love from your fan base mr Accurate, this is another cool one. keep em coming, thank you. looking forward to the album.
Thanks fam! im working hard on it.
Dope beat and “tutorial” 👊🏻
Thanks bro
This guy just kills it every time
Thanks man!
That last bell type noise was perfect icing on the cake
I do like how u have a classic sound but with good production. Good stuff as always.
Beat ended up real nice, using Jeremy's shoutout was the cherry on top, good to see you exploring the possibilities of the DVS mixer! One of your best videos in a good while :)
Yeah I figured it’d turn out cool to use his voice like that.
Thanks a bunch!
I love the way you create so valuable content about producing music with your own style on it :D Keep producing Akkurate.
Thank YOU!! :)
WOO Man! You really know what you´re doing with all that great gear you have. This was inspiring. Greetings from Argentina!.
Love it man like the way you blend different records to make one beat that's dope I gotta try that!!
Wicked as always... this is how I used to make tunes back in the day. Rip and chop a vinyl sample and explore the vibe.
Now i just spend hours running through presets and drinking lager while checking Twitter.. but thanks for showing how it's done bro
Thanks!
Well, I know what you're talking about 100%. That's why I prefer controllers and standalone devices for making beats. i think its a little easier to get stuck scrolling for sounds on the computer.
Thanks for watching and good luck with that music making!
Nice Sarah2ill shout out! Dopeeeeee tutorial as always!
Both of you are amazing. I found your channel after watching one of Jeremy's videos a year or so ago. Haven't missed a video since.
Oh? Glad to hear it man! Thanks a lot
two of my favorites together in the dopest way
taking me back to that 90's shit, how legendary producer doing it. Thanks man, and using modern equipment, in this "era"
Thank you for appreciating the old school vibes :)
Constantly amazed brother.....such feel and composition....so effortless...you give us hope......
Peace
You're a goddamn genius! Respect!
That's dope, Accurate. I'd like to know your review of the Maschine; how its connected to your outer gear, that was sweet; the beat. Till next time, stay safe & well. Teach your skillz.
Turned out dope as always 👍
Thanks a lot man!
Accurate Beats btw man i was wondering since now you have a timecode setup for scratching.
do you have any latency issues?
i once had a midi dj controller and the latency was awful for scratching
LOL 1:39 Nooo thank you hahahah
I saw @Red Means Recording 's video and I totally thought you deserved the shoutout. Congrats man!
Thank you! He is such a nice guy as well.
Damn this video is really helpful! Just got the mk3, that thing is from outer space!!! Please make more videos like this! Props!
Thanks! I will always make more videos :) Glad you find them inspirational
Accurate Beats thank you! Can you give us insight on how to make sax/trumpet stabs on beats? Its hard to make it sounds tight, but I believe you can show us the good way! Props!!!
Thanks for posting links to your MK3 stand, been looking for one. Cheers
Cool stuff! 👍 What kind of stand you're using for the MK3?
You are doing a great job with this setup. Very nice.
Thanks a lot :D
Nice track .. but thought the MPC beets you started with sounded much better than the machine ones .. but I understand the video was about the maschine .. so I’ll let you off 😂👍... I absolutely love your channel and content ❤️❤️👌
Would u consider making a show on hooking up different maschine mixers and players?
This latest video is 1 of the best yet... Love the subliminal shout outs 😂
Thank you so much for saying that!
Nice stuff can’t wait to start sampling with my new turntable
Thanks. The best of luck to you man!
Incredible. Great work my friend.
Thanks a lot!
good sample choice!
I’ve decided to go maschine over mpc or push watching your videos till I can get my hands on mine
Found your channel recently and deff diggin the style!
Thanks a lot! Hop you'll stick around ;D
This is SICK!!! two thumbs up.
Great! Im about to get mine :) . How do you feel about the audio output quality?
So modern cutting edge devices, but syncing "by hand" ;-) Reminds me of early 90ties when I synced 8 track tape with Amiga 500 that way. Cheers
Great vid. Just got the mk3 so this is right on time. Subbed!
Man that shit is inspirational! You rock man! I'm glad I found this channel last year 😎
Thank you so much for the support! I just love doing this. Inspiration is a beautiful thing
so now we all know that your mustache is not the source of your power , thanks for the video !
It's got that DJ Primier vibe.
That constant changing of pitch is facts. 30 min just trying to find that right pitch is my process lmao
dope joints as always bro!
i do gotta say tho.. the original pitch of your sample (3:46) was so dope :'((
good work as always my G
What stand are you using for the Maschine MK3? Where did you buy it? It looks nice and firm. Thx already for info.
lol 'accurate beats' scratching with the video is funny Lol 🤣😂, Dope beatmaking
dude that was awesome. .subbed
Dude whats your opinion on the Akai studio? id love to get either the mk3 or mpc live but i dont have the funds so was going to go with the studio..
Dope as always
Great stuff as always
What was that 1st song?? Halejua??
Where is all this recording to? Who's the main sequencer in this setup?
Indica Strain The main device would be Maschine. It’s all recorded straight into maschine. I use Logic from time to time but this video was made all using Maschine.
Thanks for watching
Now that Shure discontinued the M44-7, what cartridge and stylus will you be using? Awesome videos btw!
Ive been using maschine for over 10 years. I’m extremely comfortable with it. I am contemplating buying an mpc live 2. Do you ever use them together? I have always used analog samplers with maschine. How is the work flow using both?
does anyone know which song the sample at 1:55 is? That modulating guitar is really nice
Would be great if you can show us how to mix and master your beats.
That video is coming... it’s on the list of things to do :)
@@AccurateBeats can you just say what program you use? thanksksss
spaceman1980 i think if im not mistaken one of the things he uses is abelton live i think
Great video Accurate! I just new you would include Jeremy in one of your future videos, haha!
100%! Thats a great guy.
Thanks for watching man! D:
lets bring back boom bap all best to you man great work
Yeah, lets bring it back! thanks for watching!
got a question can mpc sounds be used in maschine mk3 ?
The best of the best. Wonderful job as always, Accurate.

Hey!
I think you’ll be pretty happy with just a copy of Logic together with MPC Live. Maschine wouldn’t really add much more for arranging songs and all that. A DAW is what you need :)
Thanks for the love. I really appreciate it
How do you use Traktor with Maschine? I have the MK2 and the Z2.. If you could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.. Thank you
Cool vids as always ! Just one question.
What’s the settings to have the sample cut when you plays an other pad ( when I play the first pad continue to play the sound till the end if I play a second pad the sound doesn’t cut ) thanks for the answer
I’m happy that you have support from other channel keep continue !
And thanks for all the inspiration that you give !
Pierre Begue you need to set poly to 1
Sam Pell thanks a lot
And set the samples to choke group 1 for cutoff :)
Super Fresh!

Are they the hand drums off dillas donuts?
Nice work

what is that album called on that vinyl at 1:42 ?
Hey nice vid, i saw this Sarah2ill meme (love dat girl, she's got a good energie) !
Yeah :) No Quantize forever!
Ah no more gear infomercials :)...jokes. Glad to see some beat vids again!!
Haha! I like to mix it up a little bit. Making videos on gear just feeds the nerd in me :)
Music making videos are always a lot of fun to make!
Accurate Beats always a pleasure to watch them too. Keep em up!!
Dope
Great content, solid boom! 👊😎❤
Thanks a ton!
What are you using to scratch the sample from the youtube video? Is it traktor?
Always a treat to watch Accurate work. Are you getting an OP-Z? Looks like fun...so damned small though.
Thanks Andy!
Yeah, I'm soo excited about that release! I really hope to get my hands on one of the early units. Sure, it seems small but I think it'll be awsome together with the OP-1! Hopefully I'll be able to make some videos on it soon after the release.

I’m not giving away the record though. Sorry...
Good stuff. I was wondering how you made that handwriting intro. Stroke animation in After Effects? Or how did you create it?
I made it with the iPad app “ArtStudio” and filmed the screenshot on the computer as a screen capture. Simple as that :)
How exactly are you chopping samples with the maschine and doing drums with the akai? Is the maschine commected to the sampling software, while the akai is on controller mode in your daw?
Amazing work flow
Nice vid man, nice tips man !
This beat is dope
Hey Accurate what turntable you usingn? Because you know I'm about to get me one and needs to know ya dig?
I like the final result. But the snare... something say me change the snare hahaha. Maybe a Snare like Rimshot. But i like the beat! Greetings from México!
Yeah, you might be right. For videos like this I just go with the flow and make really fast decisions. It might be better with a rimshot :D
Hey, I'd like to ask you, have you ever used any of those portable type record players like the PT-01? Do you think the quality is decent enough for sampling for beatmaking? Thanks for your advice!

How do you deal with copyright in sampling vinyl ??? Just buy old and unfamous ones ?
Man, how do you connect your Mpc live to your sound card? I still can’t find that cable :(
jorgecds I believe the MK3 has a built in interface
