Police Motorcycles of the United Kingdom

I was lucky enough to see some of the police bikes and meet the officers who ride them at Manchester Bike show and learnt at lot about various police bikes and how they are ridden both on patrol and in pursuit. Police outreach is really important and this was an interesting insight and a nice addition to the day out. Hopefully this video is of interest to you as well. Thanks for watching!

Jersey coppers are using the BMW F750gs, I was informed by one of them they had a choice over which bike to use on island, they chose the smaller 19inch wheel on the 750 over the 21inch on the 850 as they are easier to manoeuvre around our island on the road

there used for bike safe weekends, a complete waist of public money, the only time you see one is during the summer making there presence felt at bike meets and of course the VIP coming through your town.

Yes it was an odd thing to see, I doubt police rider training would align with such a sporty bike either...

I see Police Cyclists are called Police Motor Cycalists UK....does that mean the travel county to county?
