    Another option to add is Long Island Watch: Islander Sands Point Titanium Diver with Blue Wave Dial #ISL-159.
    Gorgeous blue textured dial and the case is very attractive.

      Agreed on this. Mark from LIW has made a reputation from being a watch retailer to attempting to design and build his own brand. I have been thinking to getting one shipped to India. What say @longislandwatches? www.youtube.com/@islandwatch

    This video is misleading as some of these are NOT titanium case or bracelet. #16 is bio-plastic and #11 (PCAT) is stainless steel (case + bracelet). And why have 2 Casio Pro Trek watches and ignore the Casio Oceanus line, which are all Titanium?

    • @pktsqr
      @pktsqr Год назад

      Agreed that the images and descriptions are all jumbled up here, which could mislead some. But a slight correction: My Oceanus T200 is a fantastic watch - one of my favorites - but it's definitely made of steel.

    Many of your images are showing other watches in a watch model line where 1 model is titanium and others are stainless steel like Mido Ocean star and Tissat Gentlemen (I have both), most watches have "Titanium" on the watch face when they are Titanium.

    Would be nice to know the grade of Titanium of each watch.

    • @rollyunicorn
      @rollyunicorn Год назад

      Sometimes grade 5 but more often than not it's grade 2. Grade 2 being more likely to pick up scratches, however on the positive side it's also easier to buff these scratches out.

    For a smaller size wrist there are the Titanium field watches from Lorus which are a sub brand of Seiko. At around £60 they are great value for money. I have three varients of them in my collection. The cream dial version is probably the most popular but there is a green dial version and also a black dial one which comes on a Titanium bracelet while the cream and the green dial version both come on a fabric green strap. Obviously the quality of these watches cannot compare to the more expensive ones shown here in this video but at lower than £100 they are unbeatable. All the watches I mentioned have 100M water resistance and a very accurate Seiko quartz movement in them.

    PRW3500T isn't titanium - only the bracelet is. The body of the watch is plastic. Also it's not the one illustrated at 5:27, which is just a regular all-plastic watch with a stainless caseback and bezel.

    Came to see video about affordable watches, and the first watch mentioned is over $1000. The hell?
    I guess I thought 'affordable' meant something like watches under $100...maybe even under $50.

    • @lostgrunt7833
      @lostgrunt7833 Год назад

      I might be wrong.. but i think to the average person affordable would be 50 bucks.
      The average watch person.. 250 & under.
      With the affordable "nice" watch being maybe around 5-600.
      But your correct.. it's hard to see affordable at the $1000 mark. But id say that's a nice high end price to the affordable category. Maybe some one wanted to find that 1 really nice watch for their bday, Or anniversary. Jmo...😊

    The Seiko and the Tissot PR100 seem to have been discontinued.
    The Skagen watches have a fixed, non-replaceable bracelet which will not fit large wrists.
    Most of the remaining watches in the list are very large. Thankfully, these 42 to 45mm pie-pan pieces are finally dropping out of style.

    • @rollyunicorn
      @rollyunicorn Год назад

      42 to 45mm isn't very large! Not for an average 7 to 7.5" wrist. If you have wrists like a twig then maybe, but that doesn't make 42 to 45mm large, it just means you have puny wrists!

    What about titanium voices? Like the one used for this v.over. If you can’t find a human voice I’d rather have none at all. For some reason A.I. doesn’t convey the same conviction. Nothing seems to be reasoned, only filtered for cosmetic purposes.

    There are far better Ti choices out there - look at Helm for divers, and Citizen for field watches. Avoid Seiko at all costs, as their quality control is abysmal and the watches are slammed together by half-blind slave labor in Chinese sweatshops.

    • @4gegtyreeyuyeddffvyt
      @4gegtyreeyuyeddffvyt Год назад

      I’ll never buy a seiko again. Unfortunately I’ve bought 2 helm watches, both of which use sieko movements and both stopped working after only a year.
