I believe the reason that most of the habitats are meshed over is because little blue penguins (at least in NZ) are often kept with shorebirds such as Shags and dotterels, and they are flying birds so the mesh is there to keep the flyers in.
The Cincinnati Zoo's Penguin exhibit is amazing in person. The entire zoo is beautiful and I'm dying to go back when the new elephant habitat is done. My heart belongs to a hippo there, Fiona. With that, wonderful build and you've done it justice. 🎉

Every climbing piece has been deactivated other than the required ones, it's just the sheer number of people and animals and the age of my PC. Will be fixed soon! The Night House is going to be a unique theme which I've not seen before so I don't want to say anymore. There will be a spider though 😁

Thought you might like to know that meshing over penguin habitats is more for biosecurity reasons and to make sure the penguins are getting the right amount of food and that their fish is not getting gobbled by seagulls. You'll also often see either the entire enclosure covered in mosquito netting or lots of fans in penguin enclosures to discourage biting insects that carry avian malaria.
Would love just a brief recap of contextualization of builds within the zoo at each new video. Eg. I assumed this video was going to add to the Australia zone but now will go watch the penguin cove episode in search of context.

If you need any PC building tips let me know, feel free to ask. Planet zoo is very CPU heavy. Go with an AM5 motherboard for future proofing. Ideally a cpu with 3D caching. GPU, you'll probably want an nvidia gpu as you do video editing. 4070TI would be a good GPU otherwise a 7800xt will be pretty great for cheaper. Both will operate really well at 1440p. 4k monitors are too expensive at the moment and 1440p is a good sweet spot.

But I'm wondering how the keepers access the bowls and underwater feeder? The keeper gate just allows them to access the indoor area, doesn't it?
@@ZSHplays Oh okay, didn't know it's possible this way in the game. So they fill the underwater feeder just from the keepers gate? In my penguin/water animals habitat I always put the keepers gate in a position they can access the whole (outdoor) area to fill the feeders.
You should make an orangutan exhibit since they can brachiate now! Btw do you dislike orangutans or just the fact they don’t brachiate personally orangutans are my favorite

Hey ZSH, it's been a long time. I do have a question: how do you manage to alter terrain regardless of a barrier? Like, how can you raise or lower terrain even if there's a barrier in the way?
Are you considering making one tutorial with actual in real life time with no edits? I loved the last time you did a video like that and i would love to see your process or thoughts in real time....i just have no inspiration sometimes and i look at the monitor with zero progress for hours sometimes 😂
Sadly those videos get really poor views which harms my channels reach so I haven’t made any more. I know a few people really like them so it’s a shame. I’ve considered doing some members only real time builds as they don’t count towards channel stats

Question… im watching your “feeding the guests” episode. I have seen you use quite a few pieces i cannot find on the console version. The rock clusters you put down around the paths, and the square plant foliage… also a waterfall piece you placed on the building…. I need these pieces in my life. So are these from future packs???? Am i just not finding them? Or did we get robbed of these pieces????

So in game they don't need to be able to access either. IRL there would be a door hidden in the rocks. I may have forgotten to put it in though 😁

A brilliant zoo to sdo a zoo tour on is Folly Farm thats in pembrokshire wales and its on the smaller side but does have some interesting habitats

Yeh there’s 16 DLCs, only 4 are out on console, the rest are coming over the next year
