This is probably my favourite style of video Roman has done. We don't get to see enough of Britt and Roman hanging out when they are simply doing something they both enjoy.
Taught my daughter how to drive a stick going up hills on gravel roads. She only killed it twice but after an hour she had it down! I was so proud of her and if I had to do it over I wouldn't change anything. Good job Britt!
i learned to drive stick the moment i bought my first car (first car that i bought personally with my money) and it is honestly one of the most fun things ive learned because of how awesome it is to js feel like youre in control of every little thing that the car does. truly one of the most fun things to do/learn
Teaching Brit while being filmed is more of an accomplishment than just doing it. Props to you Brit for not getting frustrated. You did great. Now Roman can buy you a vehicle with a standard transmission and you will be good.

I’m Italian and here in Italy when we turn 18 we immediately learn to drive manual and it takes days and days, its so strange seeing you driving manual for the first time and you are so good😊❤

Love that I’m able to watch your videos and know where you’re at. I used to go fishing there when I lived in the areas. Also great job Brit, AND you Roman. It’s a lot harder to teach how to drive a stick than it is to learn. Because it takes patience. But she truly was a natural.
Watching Brit drive the old truck was awesome. I remember learning how to drive a clutch and it’s a scary experience but once you get it and get used to releasing that clutch it’s so much fun. Manuals are way more fun to drive I agree. Good teaching skills Roman! Good job Britney!
Just bought a stickshift 88 S10! So much fun and so easy after the first go, I recommend getting something a little older as a first daily, such as mine, and learning to drive and work on them.

Going through a rough time with a breakup with my girlfriend of 5 years and just watching this helps so much because it makes me think of the fun times I had with her teaching her how to drive stick I will say she killed it for her first time was so proud

That's a good driving lesson, great job! I do have one note though. I was always taught in driver's Ed in high school that you NEVER back out onto a highway or road, you ALWAYS drive out. I realize there are situations where it's impossible to do but I've always followed that rule, for over 40 years now.

Just 82 I was just cruising 103 with my brother on I-270 in my 6 speed focus st but glad we are still teaching People how to drive stick also let my brother drive it in the neighborhood

My dad showed me how to drive a stick years ago, but I've pretty much forgotten how. Everything now is automatic, pretty much. This was a good refresher.

I remember when I first learned to drive stick. My husband had purchased a 1975 Trans Am. I had 3 days to learn how to drive it because my husband was going out of town for work and it was our only car. I did learn in 3 days and loved driving a standard. I liked it so much I purchased another Trans Am and a Mustang all standards.
I learned stick shift in an old '96 F-250 diesel our farm/ranch had at the time, back in '07, and got used to it pretty easily myself, soon moving to hauling cattle around with it and loved that truck. Wish we still had it but we sold it a few years ago.
Brittany you did great! I tried teaching my wife now but GF at the time about 22 years ago. It was a 1987 ranger. Very easy truck to drive. She failed so miserably. Never made it out of first. My FIL asked if I was stupid cuz that happend in delaware OH and I had to drive back to cleveland area lol

As a British person the only time I have driven an automatic car was in 2002 when myself and a Friend did a road trip from San Francisco where we flew into from the UK, up through California and Oregon to Washington state and back using Highway 101 mostly. Give me a manual gear change car anyday👍
You did absolutely Amazing Brittany!!💕 So Most of my cars have been stick shift i absolutely love manual vehicles over automatic ones because you have control of the power i also use to race cars at a drag strip and had got one of my vehicles up to 155 MPH

Haha My wife has been wanting to learn how to drive my manual truck so we just watched your video together. Brit did great for a first time! Once you start driving a manual everyday it becomes second nature. My wife is more confident to give my truck a try which should be easier since it's an old diesel and it doesn't stall that easily.
The way we get taught in the UK to do hill starts is to use the handbrake/ebrake. Soon as you get near the bite point of the clutch you'll feel the back start to squat, u let off ebrake & you're away, there's zero chance of rolling back, but it's just a little tricky to get the hang of it to begin with as its easy to stall the engine.

I love driving a stick! My first 5 cars growing up were all stick and I remember teaching my best friend in a mall parking lot on a Sunday night. I had no idea it didn’t come naturally to everyone, but I was driving tractors and racing dirt bikes at 10 years of age.

We always had a standard transmission in all our vehicles until I hurt my knee. I used to drive a full size Ford F150 with a 3 speed with overdrive. I had to drive it thru the streets of San Francisco during rush hour. I could hold it at the top of the hill on Gough Street with no roll back. I miss that truck to this day… it was such a hoot to drive.

favorite vehicles have been stick like the Tiburon i used to drive, it brings a whole other element to driving like playing a game its so fun. I have also driven a semi & a grain truck & that old parking lot, nature has a strange way of reclaiming
I am very impressed Brit, Everyone I've know that learned to drive a stick stalled it on their first try, then you go for a half hour before you stalled for the first time. I can't wait to see you do your first burnout and the look on everyone's face, it will be priceless. The best thing is you filmed this on day 69 you both should go get a motel room and enjoy the night it's a day to remember but have Roman buy you dinner first.
We moved in a year before brooks changed. It was sweet to have that big parking lot… especially in the winter;). Still use it today having a boat ramp 500 feet from the house is ideal
I've watched all 69 videos and look forward to each new one. I am hooked, especially considering i've probably only seen five regular roman videos before this.. I didn't even know about him until he went on impulsive. I'm 40 so I was a little late to yourube. But I'm here for good now and can't wait to look back through the years

I didn't even know about him until he went on impulsive. I'm 40 so I was a little late to yourube. But I'm here for good now and can't wait to look back through the years

The girl I let get away i taught her how to drive my 5spd Saturn Ion, I seen her just a few years ago with a manual honda civic and she said “ Thanks to you i’m flying around here”.
