If you printer says something along the lines of "Nozzle and Bed temp too low"; before you buy a new thermistor try tightening the bolt connecting the thermistor bolt. I read this tip on a reddit forum and the loosened bolt is the culprit more often than the thermistor!!
sir, i don't know who you are, i don't know where you are from but i know for sure that i absolutely love you. thank you, I just bought my first printer and faced this problem
Thanks so much for posting this tip. I tightened the screw an eighth of a turn and it's all good now! A lot easier than replacing anything. Thanks again

Fyi, at 2:36 in the video, the person plugs the nozzle kit into the port that is closest to the green thing. It's actually supposed to be in the bottom port as the top port is meant for the bottom fan. You can tell because at 3:08, it is in the correct port and then they plug in the fan. Other than that, great video! I just used it to replace my thermistor. Let's see how this new one does (the one that came with the printer kept giving low temp errors).
Tie a piece of string to the thermistor on the nozzle end, drag through the wire netting, then swap out for new thermistor and pull back through instead of disassembling the entire wire harness.
Word of warning! My internals were glued on, so I had to use snips to excise some of the wires. Dunno if this is standard but still, very cool, Creality! I'm not mad at all!
My thermistor was stuck/glued inside the cavity, so when I tried to remove it, (I even eased it gently) the wires broke off and now the globe is firmly stuck inside the cavity. How do I get it out??
I think this is what I need. Would be AWESOME if you guys answered emails though, I have sent three to the "cs" address listed in the insert that came with the printer (Ender3 V2 Neo). I bought it from an Amazon vendor, should I get support through them instead? Very bad month of silence. Well anyway, I'm buying a 5-pack and will see if I can figure it out on my own.

Out of nowhere I am getting a thermal runaway error on my Ender 3...it stinks because I did a ton of research before I got the printer and was fairly certain that I had made a good purchase...apparently not. It would appear that this is a very common problem. I shouldn't have to be replacing key components in a printer that has maybe fifty print hours on it. Sorry for the whining...

@@deathtyrantart I bought mine new through an eBay seller so the company wants a 'purchase order' and for some reason wants me to re-enter the printer information I have already sent in my service request. Pretty sure that because I bought it new from a third party that I am getting the shaft from Creality on service help. But, the community has been very helpful. I replaced the nozzle in my unit and that seemed to do the trick. Don't know why or how but it's printing again. Check out some 3D printing groups on Facebook because they have really helped me with things like setting my e-steps, etc. Hope you get it up and running...
Bro replacement parts are cheap and you need to learn about your machine anyway. There's a trade off between price and quality and ender 3 hits the sweet spot. Rn I would say get used aquila for $80 though
fifty hours?? I had to replace the thermistor after maybe 20 hrs, as I was getting error "nozzle is too low temperature". I have to run some tests to make sure if it helped at all. This printer is GARBAGE and I will never recommend it to anybody. This is hilarious, that you have to replace and upgrade parts in a new machine that has just left the factory. Unbelievable.

Removing all the cables and detaching it from the wheel carriage is complete nonsense. Unscrew the thermistor, pull it thought the cable holder, pull the new thermistor through the cable holder from the other side, plug it in the mainboard and connect it to the hot-end. The only thing that is ACTUALLY important is how to screw it to the hot-end, and that is the part (1.40 - 1.50) that is skipped in seconds.
I've changed my hotend kit with same way, when I start the 3d printer, the nozzle automatically starts to heat up and rises to 300 degrees, I can never stop it (Ender3 V2)

I went into this thinking I could make neat stuff and now I have to start by replacing the thermistor on my out of the box, ready to go printer. Fun.
me too. v2 neo. Its not exciting like a walk in space
Can I just cut it in short length and connect each wire, instead of go through all wiring process?
What is the Specification of Thermistor need for Ender-3v2,S1 & s1 pro ? kindly let me know

Can you confirm if High temperature NTC 100k thermistor works well with Ender 3 V2 or not? It has a metal tip which goes inside the hot bed too.

Hello, sorry our products are using hot melt adhesive at the wire connections, in order to make them work better, thank you for your understanding.
Dude, they are glued in to stop them coming out in transit. Not because they are messy with the glue gunnidge.
I skipped all of that and cut the wires. Soldered the new one on. Works like a charm lol

At 0:33 the fan cable is connected in K-FAN1, but at 2:36 you set it in K-FAN2. Should I switch fan port, or is this just a mistake from your side?

how far do you have to push the thermistor end into that tiny hole?
