What a marvellous surprise of a Wednesday video! The Interceptor looks like it's a lot of fun as a sidecar outfit! And that Bullet 350 is smashing in that red colour. Not to mention that lovely old Land Rover I spy in Lindsay's garden. Marvellous! 😁
Great see someone giving the humble sidecar a bit of an outing on YT TAYM, thanks for that, I just hope I can get my outfit's starter-motor woes sorted out. Nice one again cheers. 👍
Thank you, enjoyed that Mr TAYM. I might be tempted when my body ages some more 😂. I guess it would take a bit of getting used to, after years of riding solo 😳. Do you remember the “Sidewinder” sidecars, lads were fitting to their bikes in the 80’s, to by-pass the new learner laws ? They tilted when the bike was lent over. 😅.
Madness!!! 😱 Only been a passenger in a sidecar once. Moto Guzzi Spada. A friend had had an accident, blanked out and was banned for 2 years from riding solos. He called round and took me out. Up a steep hill and out onto the main road. Incidentally where the shop was in Open All Hours. 😂Years ago - seem to feel the sidecar was on the other side but I may be wrong? Pulling out onto the main road, did not like it car wheels were taller! 😱😱😂 Madness I tell you, madness! 😂
What a marvellously marvellous ride. Everything was marvellous, just marvellous. Just bought an Intercepter to put a chair on this year. I expect it will be marvellous, too.
That sidecar might be my possible future to stay in the elements. Not sure they sell them here as they are few and far between. I know we have three world renowned companies that make them here. Thank you for an experience. The ride in the luggage compartment was a little cramped, it would have been nice to have switched places half way on that trip.
Fantastic video doesn’t that side car look fabulous. The exhaust sounds great there but that’s why most outfits had Siamese Pipes on them back in the day 👍 if I had room for one I would definitely have one 😃
I couldn’t stop smiling during this mutter😀 What a lovely looking bike! I would really love to see you drinking a cup of tea in the sidecar🤣🤣 So next time when you meet Lindsay (hope I pronounce it good) take a cup of tea! 🎉
It great to see bikes with sidecars and that pair looks the business. I remember my brother had a bike with a sidecar and cannot even remember the model of the bike but the body was made out of a wooden pallet, I kid you not. I imagine riding the bullet will test mental agility, back brake and gear shift swapped around, folk struggle with Honda swapping the horn with indicator so this would be carnage haha. Great vid 👍
Brilliant TAYM. My parents went on their holidays with my dads parents in a double sidecar, 4 people & luggage! On BSA m20 500cc. Unbelievable. Those bar risers make the interceptor look good. Like a US import Bonnie 👍A ride on the 350 Bullet next, please. We don't ask for much do we... Thanks again 👍
Re the licence thing, does anyone remember the "sidewinder"? It was basically a third wheel hinged to the bike, a way to circumnavigate the law. Nice royal Enfield and the series landrover looks good as well!
Very interesting video TAYM. Of course Ruby is absolutely desperate for me to get a sidecar myself, she'd love to come along with me for every ride. She would be totally up for it, I have no doubt at all ! I have made tentative enquiries with Watsonian and am waiting for more information. Garage space is likely to be the problem though, plus, it will ruin my riding enjoyment, so I'm not quite sure how I'd feel about it really, should I ever have one. Sidecar outfits are much rarer out here in Spain, as you can probably imagine, so Ruby would certainly be turning heads should I get one. Very interesting 🤔 Cheers TAYM and thanks for the doggy pics !!! ER & Ruby ❤🐕 🥰 Milo
@@TAYM Well at least I‘d get to arm this expensive security system which I pay a fortune for every month 😂 She‘d just get sossidges for „not falling out of the sidecar“ instead 😝 She’s thought it all through, apparently ! 😛👍

Perhaps this is your answer too wanting a single seat on Bertie! You fit a sidecar so Mrs taym can still travel with you and get all her shopping in the boot! And as a bonus you can pick the giraffe up on your way into work 🙂😂
Good morning TAYM a different view been years since I’ve been in a side car I was a child I’ll have to dig the photo out also had a trailer with it 👍👍🙏
@@TAYM hi definitely was the only form of transportation for some I’ve sent you the photo but cannot find the photo with the trailer on I’ll have to look on the other hard drive 👍👍
What a life eh, tootling around in a side car. I can just picture Mrs TAYM with a Pimm's in one hand and a Cucumber sandwich in the other. She might manage a picnic basket in the boot but I doubt it's big enough for her shopping 😅
Great Video! I wonder what Mrs. TAYM would think of sidecar? The 1950s Bullet 350 was outstanding. I wanted to scream at you to start it and ride it; however, that might make things a little awkward with you friend. LOL
That sidecar is very posh. Not like the two seater my dad used to have with the leaky hood and plastic windows - me in the back and mum in the front with my brother on her knee. Not sure what the bike was but it may have been a Rudge. I know he had a couple of Rudge and a Velocette. He stopped with the bikes by the time I was seven and it was cars all the way down after that. Nor like the one a mate had in our late teens. An old 500 Triumph with a wooden box on the side that had an old car seat bolted in. Plus he road it like a maniac.
That's definitely something I'm considering fitting to my Triumph Bonneville, I reckon Beatrix would look Splendiferous with the Watsonian Prescott side car painted in the same colour as the fuel tank . . Think that's the plan for when the V-Strom goes in 18mths when I retire! 😂😂😂
OMG, I never realized the sidecar was on the opposite side of the bike as it is here in the US! I've got to get out more! 😄😄😄😄Makes sense though. Over here the Urals are the sidecar bikes you see the most.
The Ural dealer I was talking to explained they have to switch everything round to legally sell them here including the driver shaft to the sidecar wheel. It’s that which makes them so expensive here, well over £20k 😊 I loved them at the NEC show, marvellous 😊
