    Thank you. This is the first video I have seen on Canva. Can you tell me if I use the Free and then switch to Pro, if it will save all of my first/free projects? Also, you mentioned re-sizing--If I create an image, lets say for a t-shirt, can I export and resize to fit the shirt accordingly? Thank you

    • @NataliaKalinska
      @NataliaKalinska  7 месяцев назад

      You’re very welcome Cassy. When you make a switch from the free to the Pro version, you keep all of your projects. It’s the same account, it’s just a different plan. When it comes to resizing, it’s always best to start with your intended dimensions in Canva. It makes things much easier and you keep the quality. After exporting, it may not be as efficient to resize your design. You’d be able to make it smaller but if you enlarge it, you’ll most likely compromise some of the quality. I hope it helps! Thank you so much for watching 😊

  • @cronosx6174

    At minute 8:20 you don't need "Adobe Illustrator" to make your own designs. There are many software companies that have all the file formats that can be compatible with Canva. Corel Draw has a huge amount of file formats, and its likely at least one or two file formats can be transferred to Canva.

      That’s absolutely true, it was just an example/mental shortcut since it’s one of the most recognizable pieces of software.

    If I already have a personal account and get added on to a team to use their pro account/share designs, etc will they have access to my personal designs or will this be private unless I choose to share them? Also, will anything i design in that team account be viewed by anyone on the team? Thanks!

    • @NataliaKalinska
      @NataliaKalinska  Год назад

      Thank you so much for your lovely comment Halima! 🙏 Creating good content is about two things - understanding your audience and practicing consistently. When you begin designing graphics (or start working on any other skill for that matter!), there will be a disconnect between what you create and what you think looks really great. The key to getting better over time is practicing all the time and analyzing what makes good designs good.
      The way I started getting intentionally better with design is by trying to recreate graphics I loved and applying my own unique twists to them - without publishing them anywhere of course! What it taught me was to recognize balance, hierarchies, color and font combinations, consistency and so much more. Over time, that knowledge and practice started translating into my own designs. My creative muscle was built up enough that I could design from scratch, using just my imagination and experience. I'm not there yet, it's a journey with no destination, but that's what getting better is all about.
      I would start by looking at Instagram profiles you like, other social media platforms, finding inspiration on Pinterest and Behance and just practicing daily. With time, the original content you produce will get better and better.
      I have a whole Canva playlist with various tutorials which can be helpful to you: ruclips.net/p/PLr0AH9BnVNJMg_BPSiqKxpamzx2lJ6KUg
      Apart from the playlist, I've got a video helping you get endless content ideas for any niche: ruclips.net/video/iOToM05hVps/видео.html
      I hope this helps and good luck on your content journey! 🍀🤞

      You have taken your time to explain to me this is what I need will go through the links and start using my imagination to design different graphics I like how you take you time to respond everything thanks alot God bless 🙌
      Though as an email copywriter I have been wondering who are my targeted audiences, like who will be my ideal Client please do you an any Idea on that? Please reply thanks 😊

    • @NataliaKalinska
      @NataliaKalinska  Год назад

      Love to hear it - straight to action! ❤️ Let me know how the practice goes for you and again, I wish you all the best ✨
      Well, that’s a service that can be useful to a wide variety of people. Business owners and content creators obviously come to mind first, but you need to figure out your own niche yourself. Ask yourself a few questions. If you’ve already had clients, who did you enjoy working with the most? If not, what type of a client would you like to work with? If you have experience in a particular field, this may be your unique selling point since you’ll be able to write more informed texts. Same goes for your interests - if you yourself are drawn to something in particular, it may be easier for you to jump into that niche and serve people within that community.
      That’s a super broad subject of course so it’s not easy to just explain it in a comment, but these are some of the questions you can start with 🙏🏻

    I keep asking this in every Canva tutorial I view and no one replies. I am creating 5 x7 note pad. I put two on a letter size sheet set to 11 x 8.5 inches. However when I print them they never come out to a 5 x 7 and I have to keep resizing them on test paper until I get the correct diminsions. This happens with other sized produces I make as well. I have wasted so much paper and ink and cannot get my business up and running due to this time consuming problem. Also I have typed in templates 5 x 7 and when I print it out to see what it will look like it prints out to 8.5 x 11 letter size document. What can I do

    Why have my project names, including the oldest ones, disappeared from the top of the screen? I have to rename the project AFTER I save it, presumably with "no name". I use the edit symbol on the listed project. Does anyone else have this issue? Every design comes up blank at the top right where the name of the design or "unnamed design" used to appear.

    Not worth the money. The position feature to resize elements does not lock into the measurements desired. I should be able to drag on the sides of a shape. It doesn't alphabetize a list inside the text box either. Canva complicates simple.
