That guy with the big head was actually a kid that has a type of Dwarfism that was bullied in school, so the director reached out to the family and gave him this role.

yeah but they could at least try their bes to make the small amount of time he had relevant. all we saw was just shots of him stealing food and sleeping and being stupidly shot. total waste of time and charcater sequence imo

A brutal world necessitates brutal solutions. A society, by and large, is only as good as its environment allows it to be.
Could be said for the Dark ages. Made vast engines of war but didn't progress as fast in a lot of other areas.
Oh boy 2 hours of reasonable people having rational discussions, compromising and redeveloping a functioning society sounds exciting, said no one, ever.

The War Rig in Fury Road sounded awesome, the horn on this War Rig is cool, not as loud, but a more "synth" like tone. I like em both.

I wonder how much % of the rides they get attacked. They got a lot of defenders but still nearly not enough.
Many, they are Dementus's minions. This scene is about the 2nd Warrig in supply mission, not war so they only have a small group of Warboys to defend it. Maybe about 15-20 ?
The War Boys seem to have some Krieg blood in them, with so much suicidal devotion.
So.... there is a bullet farm but everyone is using exploding spears apart from a couple of guns
Immortan Joe and his Citadel rely on explosives and vehicles. Idk why it’s written as it is.

@@Replica-Airgun-Loversguns seem better precission weapons but i assume the thunderstick has it's own advantages. A wider area of damage on impact and it might easier cause fires. Maybe these things are more effective against vehicles. They are also ideal for the kamakrazy attitude of the warboys

But who cares, this movie is epic.
They either complain about needing more practical effects then they complain when those are too crappy. For me it all comes down to the script.
I thought it was an awesome movie. I enjoyed the obvious cgi it almost gave an animated effect which I thought was cool. People find anything to complain about

I'm surprised at how many of these comments are negative towards the film. I don't think the bad editing of this video does this any favours to be honest. In the context of the film, this scene works great with the more subdued soundtrack, giving it a slightly more grounded feel compared to other action scenes. This film was better than fury road for me, mainly because it had an engaging and sprawling sequence of events to go along with the action scenes, whereas fury road was more of one big continuous setpiece, which is fine, but I prefer when there's a bit more to it.
The only negative I would point out is that the effects are worse than in fury road, but other than that, this film felt more well accomplished overall. and let's be honest, the villain in fury road pales in comparison to the big bad guy of this one

I liked the movie but the musical score was very bad. Like this scene would have been better with a score. I felt like the whole movie was silent which made it weird for me.

@@ramirezremUmm, no. Fury Road had “Brother in Arms” which is one of the best scores ever. Not to mention other tracks and were fantastic. They tried to rehash BiA before going to the Bullet Farm but even that was bad.
I know the stunts are all practical, but the cgi for the background looks super bad, like 10 million dollar budget film from 2017, can’t tell if it’s the lightning, but it supremely undermines the efforts went into the movie
What a wonderfull asphalted road without any fissures or pits... I don't remember anything like this in pervious movie.

Yes not as great as Fury Road which is a masterpiece,this movie is good tho,but Charles Theron set the bar high for the role Furiosa,only if they make a Furiosa spin off play by Charles Theron which is set after Fury Road this movie may not be bombed. And yeah even tho actions are good i think this movie use more cgi in contrast with Fury Road
Fury road was shite madmax says maybe 5 or 6 lines in the whole movie it was terrible Madmax is about Max and his car surviving in a post nuclear apocalypse they destroyed the car in the first 5 mins. One day mad max will have his own movie again without all this PC strong female lead crap
I've just realised we're missing a multiplayer (not an MMO) Mad Max themed game which is completely focussed on vehicle combat combined with the freedom to jump and crawl around on the vehicles for more fps action.
If this were a video game, this would look amazing. Really wish George Miller had spent time on another Mad Max story rather than a cheap spin-off.

why does it feel so off compared to fury road?? even the color palette seems strange. Everything just feels like a weird Chinese knock off compared to the other movie we got….

@@tanadarko6991 I am a big fan of the Mad Max series and honestly maybe it was my mistake, comparing it to fury Road because that’s in a tone category. This movie feels like a spinoff TV series in terms of the skill and overall quality.
weird, I thought this one was better than fury road. fury road had better special effects, but as a film, overall this one was better. Had a great villain, great tone, and without sacrificing the great action we got in the previous film as well

george miller is an 80 year old man. He is too old to be running around a desert shooting another mad max movie. Be happy that the movie was made.
I don't know if it's the lighting, motion blur or what, but this scene screams CGI. The editing is so undercooked you can almost feel the harnesses on the stuntmen. Feels mediocre.

The scene is sorely missing it's soundtrack. There's a saddening lack of music throughout the entire film.
Scenes that should be thrilling, are empty because of it. Adding a proper soundtrack before releasing it on streaming could do wonders for the films reception and protect the brand of Mad Max

The movie is called Furiosa. The “A Mad Max Saga” part is no different from movies like Rogue One or Knives Out. They have subtitles like “A Star Wars Story” or “A Knives Out Mystery”. Or even Fast and Furious Presents - Hobbs and Shaw.
You can’t be this oblivious to think the title is a dupe.
