    Do you resonate with having hurry sickness? How does it show up for you?

      I watch videos in 2X speed bc i always wanna hurry and get the information. I "slowed" this video to normal speed and it already helped me relax a bit more:) but I definitely felt stressed on how "slow" you were talking for the first few minutes lol, even though you were talking normally. Thank you 🥰

      @@nicf3808 I can definitely relate to wanting to watch videos more quickly sometimes! I'm glad you were able to slow down for this video and that it helped you relax more. Thanks for watching! ☺

    I walk fast, move fast always in a hurry. People always tell me it's awkward. Especially partners. I have traced it back to a narcissistic mom who made meeting all her needs urgent for me while she met none of mine. 😢 starting to work on this at 39.. better late than never ❤

      I'm so sorry you had that experience. It's great that you've been able to recognize the behavior along with the source, and it's absolutely never too late to start healing! ❤

    I've been like that all my life and need help. I even hurried during vacation every second of every day. I'm 60 and finally realized I do that. It's hard to break. Thanks so much for these videos I can't afford therapy. I'm an ex Jehovah witness and they teach you are never good enough.

    Yep. I have GAD and depression. I often feel that I am not moving fast enough. It is hard to get focused on one thing.

    I was preparing my pitch a week ahead, and i was practising on it now. I found myself in such a hurry! I recorded myself, and i even found myself rushing when I'm saying every sentence as if someone was about to judge me or someone was waiting unpatiently till i finish!
    I do thank you for making me aware as i was about to explode from the anxiety i was experiencing 🙃

    I thought im the only one who have this. This is suck man, i always catch myself doing everything "fast" I've noticed this since im in 7th grade, i told my friend that when i draw i want to finish it as fast as i can, meanwhile she's doing it slowly and really careful with what she's doing. That is the first time I've noticed this. I tried to search on Google, but at that time there are still no information about this. Then in 2022 i searched again abt this, and found out it's called "hurry sickness" and i relate to all of the signs. I realized but i still do nothin about it. Now im planning to heal from this because i feel like this is getting out of control and i feel miserable. I keep typing as fast as i can, i can't even watch a youtube video without holding the urge to finish the video because "i need to watch other benefits videos"
    Thank God i found this video, btw im typing this comment slowly this time, and i really take a time to type this. I hope i can heal

    I have more ADHD time blindness which causes me to be early to compensate for not being late. That does cause anxiety for me.

    • @CalmlyCoping
      @CalmlyCoping  Год назад +1

      Thanks for sharing! I know a lot of people who have anxiety about being late to things so they overcompensate by being super early. It's great that you have that awareness of how ADHD affects you.
