My original ancestor arrived in America from Scotland in 1692. My family fought against Britain in the American Revolution and then again in the war of 1812. But, my family never lost its love for our brothers and sisters in the mother country. My grandfather showed that love when he landed on Omaha beach on D-day in defense of Britain in WW2. He fought until the end of the war. He returned home a broken man. But, he and our family were proud of him for fighting for us and our mother country. Four decades later, I fought in the Gulf War 91’. I served alongside many great British soldiers. Afterwords, I went to London and met the love of my life. She was from Nottingham and I was from South Carolina. But, we had 2 daughters and we never looked back. Nearly 300 years and my family and Great Britain reconnected. May god bless the USA and Great Britain.
Toby is the spitting image of his Daddy. We lost a true American patriot back on Feb 5. Toby loved his country and our military and we loved back every bit as much. My dad fought in WW2, and my son gave 21 years to the USMC, a veteran of the Iraqi War. When Toby did this, he meant it for the troops, but it caught on. I don't think the Washington crowd liked it, but the public sure did. I saw Toby 2 years ago, and this was his encore. The audience went crazy. People had tears streaming down their faces. I hope and pray we are still that country.🇺🇸❤

A good friend of mine lost his son in the war against terror after 9/11 and they named a street after him. I tell him all the time how sorry I am but he tells me his son loved the USA so much that he knew he was willing to give his life for this country. I just subscribed.

His first deployment to Marjah Afghanistan while i was pregnant , he got injured due to an IED attack on his convoy. i appreciate your reactions. i still get sick to my stomace when i think of that morning. i was in mississippi and my kids were in los angeles. all i could think of was we were under attack and i was 2000 miles away from my kids and it felt like i was in a nlghtmare. i had just got up and was checking the news on my computer when all this was popping up i was so confused. i turned on the tv and saw the towers it was surreal. cowards thats what they are. the sad thing is that too many young people now were too young to remember this and are acting like idiots. they need to see what they are doing to this country before its too late. so many people including my father and my xfatherinlaw whom i adored thatwas a marine and was one of the ones that stormed normandy for our freedom. and they are just going to give it all away. nevermind climate control when theres nothing left after they destroy this country. I'm a proud American, and a United States Marine Corps veteran, and at 59 years old that's how I've felt about being an American and a Veteran every day of my life.
I have lived in the USA for all my life and I am so proud of the military. I've had many family members in the different branches. Thank You for your kind words !!
You definitely should be, their bravery and strength is incredible. I myself have had a great Uncle who was an Army Ranger and 2 in the USMC who all served in Korea!

i appreciate your reactions. i still get sick to my stomace when i think of that morning. i was in mississippi and my kids were in los angeles. all i could think of was we were under attack and i was 2000 miles away from my kids and it felt like i was in a nlghtmare. i had just got up and was checking the news on my computer when all this was popping up i was so confused. i turned on the tv and saw the towers it was surreal. cowards thats what they are. the sad thing is that too many young people now were too young to remember this and are acting like idiots. they need to see what they are doing to this country before its too late. so many people including my father and my xfatherinlaw whom i adored thatwas a marine and was one of the ones that stormed normandy for our freedom. and they are just going to give it all away. nevermind climate control when theres nothing left after they destroy this country. It wasn’t only Americans who were casualties. Thank you to every nation who came to take on this war on terrorism.

I have seen this video dozens of times and I still have to wipe away the tears by the end of it. 911 was a horrible tragedy, but it drew us all together, for a time.
This was like the first patriotic song that came out after 9/11. I listened to this song so many freaking times, and I still rock out to it. It's a permanent 4th of July song everywhere now. I love this song!
