That plane unfortunately is flying sometimes dozens of soldiers home. Each one of the hero's on board has another soldier that accompanies them to their final destination and does not leave their side. The caskets are lined up in rows and there is a member of the clergy praying over them. I think that is the lyric that says "kind a feels like church in here tonight". So that is the flight home, not the flight out to retrieve the fallen. It is a brotherhood. The loss of life is a tragedy. I like the respect, honor and love for their fallen brothers that this shows. Those men are true hero's. We owe them a debt that we can never repay. Godspeed.

I was in middle school, my family stationed in the Azores when it happened. Even not in our home country, seeing the news on TV in the afternoon... it's something that impacts your life. And more than American lives, I keep those who live with that fear on a daily in my mind and I hope they are safe
