Homemade Resistance Decade Box w/ Mini Deoxit Test & Wireless Ice Tip Preview

This video shows what I did to make a resistance decade box with two sets of six decades, as well as have a kind of a transfer standard using high precision metal foil resistors. There is also a mini Deoxit Contact Cleaner test, just to see if it changes the contact resistance. At the end there is a preview of my next project, which is a wireless ice tip up with a 2 mile range, which may or may not happen; depends if I hit a wall or get bored with it.

You can do either or. I wanted all 10 positions on one switch, instead of 9 + the next switch. Having 1 through 10 plus short makes things easier; definitely up to user discretion.

I want to say they are part number 19001-11UL Made by Grayhill. Mouser # 706-19001-11UL for solder terminals, and part # 19101-11UL for quick connect terminals.

Digikey and Mouser are my personal favorite vendors. Others have wanted parts lists for a mobile alternator welder project, I can look for these parts as well. It may be a bit, as I'm completely swamped at work and just got a Plasma table at home, with a seemingly unending list of Bobcat attachments / AG equipment orders; hopefully it will slow down in a few weeks
