Let me show you what my honeymoon phase feels like living in New York City for a month so far. I've always said that life looks better through ground glass like a hasselblad camera. Here's a cinematic short film through ground glass to romanticize everything about nyc.
Come say hello!

This POV is AMAZING! Such a beautiful video, Chris!!!
Such a simple idea but executed incredibly! So inspiring and calming to watch.
Far and away my favorite video you've ever done. Reminds me of the Maya Angelou line, "people will never forget how you made them feel." Lots of feeling in this one.
This is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen.
YES!
This was so beautiful
Vid was dopeeee ❤
so now you know how to use a Hasselblad now right?
Aww man, I was down in Manhattan with my 501cm a few weeks ago. Great video here. 👍🏼👍🏼
Chris, man...this video is full of so much love. Gave me that same feeling I get when I have my camera in my hand. It's hard to describe but this seems to capture that feeling in a bottle. truly so beautiful. & very excited for your future! would love to see what this filming set up looked like!
I wholeheartedly enjoy the turn your recent videos seem to take, love the fresh perspective and polished visuals, can't wait to see the next one!
So simple yet so dynamic love this video
I’m commenting twice because this is so good and creative and I love you
OHMYGOODNESS THE SQUARESPACE GATES CHRIS 💀❤️🔥🥺
LOOK AT THOSE GATES!!!! and ty I luv you too
Sick short!! Been racking my brain on how this recording camera setup must’ve looked like lol.
Also…. LIGHT THE BEAM
wow. That's an interesting perspective. How did you even manage to mount the camera on the camera^?
Ayyyyy the Poland Spring 👀 Got me missing the northeast right now!
I have to know how you got this pov shot, amazing!
Love the concept, hope to see it again
I am surprised with this new perspective and your idea that you put in the video, really hope to see the next vid of this idea!
This was originally done 8 years ago. Look up “Paris through a Pentax”…. He should’ve given credit but some people prefer to look original🤷🏽♂️
Killed it! 💪🏽
Beautiful idea!!! Great execution!! Well done!
Pretty chill
100k subs!!! wooohoo congrats Chris!!!
This is beautiful bro, I need to see that rig to know how to do that pov!
Absolutely love this dude. Excited to see what you create next in this new phase of your RUclips journey
This video was the most beautiful video I have ever saw about analog street photography in the youtube. Congrats for the job, If some day you come to São Paulo you will have a friend to go out.
This would be it. If I had to show someone one video of why I shoot film, this would be it. Absolutely killed it Chris!
This is ‘ground’ breaking bro! And congrats on 100k🎉
this video was therapeutic
as it was for me
This was beautiful to watch.
Yes! Most that watch camera videos know how to shoot and most that watch the videos never visit the places shown. Nor any of the quirky things that you might come across while shooting. imho: the walking and talking while shooting is best.
woah 100k! Congrats Chris!
The viewfinder is so bright! I have very little experience with old cameras but I own a Flexaret and it is so much darker. There is so much vignetting! I guess the difference is that my camera is a TLR and yours is an SLR?
This is so dope!
My Nikon F3 came in the mail today, so I’m having some mad fun with the waist level viewfinder. I just need the DW-3 though as it came with the eye level prism.
amazing POV awesome video dude!!!
I came over from the podcast you did to see you got 100k but still subscribed love your videos time to bing watch them all!
BEAST BRO
this made me feel something. happy for you man
Nicely done POV of your moments. Really conveys a feeling for the location and people. GREAT MUSIC SELECTION TOO!
Cool bit at the end, putting yourself in the frame. You turned your Blad into a video camera!
이번 영상 감성이 정말 미쳤다는 말 밖에 안나오네요. 좋은 영상 만들어 주셔서 감사합니다 ㅎㅎ
Love this video!! Photos and the music were amazing :)
this is simply amazing
how did you do it
Beautiful
great video, also loved naeem’s work!
Loving the direction you’re heading.
Best video you've done and good to see Gee Moon and David :)
bro that was so simple yet complex. you got me in tears man. that was absolutely beautiful!
easily the best one yet. simple and beautiful.
best photographer in new york for sure
aight now you're just talkin CRAZY
Its funny that you were on Mamiyamigos and y'all were talking about how there were certain trends in film photography that were so overdone and one of them mentioned the video overhead looking through the lens of a hassleblad or Mamiya RB67. Hahah you didn't mention that you JUST put out a video like that haha. All good bro sometimes you gotta jump on the trends and ride the algorithm. Sweet video! Cheers!
Love that style of poverty, super unique. Also super excited for this new Era of your channel! Congrats to 100k🎉🎉
🎉 looks like you have hit your 100k. Good work.
Less reviews? Heck yeah! Reviews are boring. I don’t need every photography channel I follow to review every piece of gear. I want more of you to be about art and about actually photographing. If that’s where you’re headed, I’m super excited about it! And if it’s something very different, then I’m also excited to see what you do with your channel!
Very different great job
This video and everything bout it is just so 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾. Just watched it for thr 3rd time haha
This is so well done. Love the POV and the audio and energy that comes with it. Lovely piece
I used Hasselblad in my commercial studio back in the day, as one needed the larger film for the printed adverts. It's a very special system and was happy to see them go digital.
The whole aesthetic of this video. 🔥🔥🔥 New Subscriber but love the NYC content.
Soooooo sick
Congrats on 100K 👍
this is amazing! i really enjoyed this video. and i am also happy you are done with reviews and yt like content. ready to see your art! :)
enjoy new york!
This is so beautful!!
What a beautiful video
beautiful
So cool
Awesome video!
beautiful
So excited to see all that is to come!
Great video 🤩
I know, no camera reviews anymore, but may I ask which kind of focus screen is in your Hasselblad? It looks brighter than mine.
I love this so much. I constantly take video/photo of my viewfinder on my hassy before a shot! Seeing others reaction to my process/what I see in my viewfinder beforehand is magical! Cheers man keep this content coming 🫶🏽
Dude this is Sundance worthy. The intimacy of you and the camera. We can feel that too.
Nice format. Would have liked to have seen the results from the shooting. Cheers
Awesome perspective
Would love to see the rig on how you filmed this
how did you get this POV shot?
Incredible video! Nothing like looking at the world through a ground glass.
Really cool video. Extra bonus points from me for using the Hasselblad. I think that camera is more popular now than ever.
Beautiful video. Would have liked to see the pictures too.
Easily my favorite channel. Props!
This is literally one of the photography I've seen in quite awhile. Well done sir, amazing concept.

Would love to know about your camera rig setup for this if possible. Lovely video and nice use of real sound from your footages. 🥰
intro & new channel direction is just 🤌 can't wait to see what you'll create!
Wow, this was so chill I didn't want it to end! Please do more of these Chris!

Glad you’re loving it here in NYC! Keep up the awesome work!

The New York Era has officially taken off full blast. Excited to see what's next! Great video and unique POV!
This was such a cool creative concept! More 6x6 love
