I just had a thought. If there's a card that lets you look through your deck (Sentumaru lets you look for pacifista), could you look through your whole deck slowly to see whats left, and use that info to determine what your life would be?

Define "slowly". If you can't do it in a reasonable time frame your opponent can and should call a judge on you for slow play.
if you attacked doffy with the ice oni it would be bottom decked
