  • Hey friends! I'm sharing what I eat in a day to heal hormonal acne and clear my skin. I struggled with acne through my teens and twenties, and now I've finally found a balance in my diet that is anti-acne and PRO skin health! I'm breaking down the 4 main components of an acne diet and how easy it is to add foods that are good for acne and take away foods that are bad for acne. Enjoy!

    I think dairy being a problem should be a no brainer. The super majority (70%+) of people are lactose intolerant. I think the lack of clarity in these studies (just guessing) comes from the fact that most studies are done with people of white/European descent, who are the least likely to be lactose intolerant.

    • @jordanwaddell
      @jordanwaddell  2 года назад +19

      I'm with you! The research is definitely lacking and not well designed. It's unfortunate 😔

      @M_K_M_K_M_K Год назад +11

      I don’t think the link between dairy and acne is necessarily lactose. I’m pretty sure it’s the hormones and IGF-1 in dairy. This will thicken the sebum, increase sebum production and could be inflammatory.

    • @lyb244
      @lyb244 Месяц назад

      It’s not the lactose intolerance…. I tried lactaid milk and my skin was breaking out just as much. Besides these studies require VOLUNTEERS it’s literally no one’s fault that poc don’t go in and volunteer for studies. Are they supposed to kidnap people or something? Test on prisoners? Like seriously who are we blaming here? No one’s at fault of that

      "In conclusion, it is recommended to monitor and supplement serum ARA levels in pregnant women, infants, children and the elderly in poor rural settings as dietary ARA is safe, being a poor substrate for beta-oxidation and is critically essential for the development and optimal performance of the nervous system, especially the brain and cognitive functions, the skeletal muscle and immune systems. Additionally, ARA promotes and regulates type 2 immune responses against intestinal and blood flukes and may well represent an invaluable endoschistsomicide and endotumoricide."

      @thandolerato4691 try a natural alternative sweetener like monkfruit instead of sugar. I use lakanto which is a combo of erythritol and monkfruit. It works well in hot drinks and baking too.
