Oil for frying
30 flour tortillas
Whole shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)
4 roasted hatch chiles or canned green chile
1/2 white onion (cook until translucent)
1/2 cup Mexican sour cream (lala)
1/2 Tbsp Black Pepper
2 cups Mexican cheese blend + Hatch pepper cheese if available : )

Lol, when talking to my wife I find myself occasionally ending random sentences with "and make it comfortable for your home!". Like, "Hey...why don't you go pick up some steaks from Costco and make it comfortable for your home?"
Just a fyi. If you eat big bites it will stretch your esophagus and when you get older it causes your food or liquid to not go directly down correctly and it will cause you aspirate. Which can cause pneumonia or infection. 😉🫣

I call them flautas if they are rolled and fried. I’m going to have to make these for my grand daughter as these are her favorite. Loves to dip them in guacamole and sour cream. Looks so delicious!

Hola amigas! "Make it comfortable for your home" is such a wonderful catchphrase. I think it's awesome that you ladies are trying to be sensitive to everyone and their triggers but at what point does it start to be kind of ridiculous (not on your part). At the rate we're going, if we cater to every single person's triggers we're not going to be able to even speak in videos anymore. I'm sorry that someone becomes triggered by that catchphrase, I have certain triggers, too, so I get it. It's so important for people with triggers to shoulder the responsibility themselves instead of burden others with it. It's unreasonable for people like us who have triggers to try and censor what other people say. Those people didn't cause our triggers and they shouldn't have to be burdened with them, imo. Again ladies, I applaud you for being sensitive to the needs of others and I hope that in the future you won't have to worry about what you say so much. Just be yourselves! That's who we love! 😍😍

Where I’m from in Mexico there is no such thing as flour tortillas & so our taquitos dorados and our flautas is the same thing really- just the flautas are always shaped in flutes and the taquitos dorados look more like regular tacos!

Yum… hatch green chilies… I’ve almost converted my dearest hubby a true Scotsman, who has been wrongly taught chilies are ALL burning hot!
I just made these and hubby loves them.. we had to substitute cheese for Monterey Jack and mozzarella hand grated cheeses, as British stores refuse to sell special or different cheese.
It’s difficult to find my Mexican cooking supplies.
These go really well with green chilies cheese sauce.
